We decided to try another new spot in town without doing any research beforehand, so we went in with no expectations. It's an Asian-inspired, Vietnamese-style kitchen with a small, focused menu--which I can definitely appreciate. The prices felt a bit higher compared to similar places, but the portion sizes were fair and satisfying. The service was great. The staff was patient and helpful while I took my time deciding what to order. The setup is casual--you pay at the counter, and they bring the food out to your table. As for the food, it was decent, but I think there's room for improvement. The flavors felt a bit muted, almost like a watered-down version of what you'd expect from traditional dishes. Overall, it's a solid spot with good service and potential--I'd be open to giving it another try. Parking is plenty and shared with the restaurants in that same plaza. Family friendly for sure.

Fast, friendly service, and a wonderfully convenient location. Yummy food, with outdoor seating, so we'll surely be back.

We decided to stop by since we were always curious about this place when in Nashville but was never close enough to have. It's a fast casual place - you order at the counter, they bring it to you. We tried the small pho with beef. It was good - just a bit different than some pho I'm used to having. I think the broth was missing some crucial spices. Still tasty though. Loved the summer rolls - super fresh tasting and the peanut sauce was delicious. The staff was really friendly and the place nice and clean and bright. Oh and they have Stubborn soda on tap which is a huge bonus!

    Thai Noodles

Went for the first time with a friend this week. Staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had about the food. Menu has lots of choices that all looked delicious. I went with the Thai Noodles this time and they were really good! I can't wait to go back and try something else!

Food was cold the meat in the sandwich was mostly if not all fat. And it's not seasoned at all.

We ordered the green bean salad, fried meatballs, Firecracker Shrimp, 505 fried chicken skins, and chicken Pad Thai, along with a green Thai tea. The green bean salad at level 3 spice was perfect--just the right amount of heat with a fresh, crunchy texture that made every bite enjoyable. The Firecracker Shrimp definitely lived up to its name with a nice kick, while the fried meatballs were cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, soft with a pleasant chew on the inside. Both paired wonderfully with the sweet chili sauce served alongside them. The 505 fried chicken skins were another standout. They had the perfect crunch and the seasoning added just enough spice to keep you reaching for another piece. To cool things down, I ordered the green Thai tea, which was sweet, refreshing, and the perfect complement to all the spicy dishes. The chicken Pad Thai is always a favorite. The noodles have that perfect chewy texture, and the portion size is generous enough to enjoy for a second meal later. Our server was Jaylin and she was ate five and came by to check in to make sure we didn't need anything! The cafe has a laid back atmosphere. Sabaidee Cafe continues to be one of my go-to spots for consistently delicious food, generous portions, and great flavors. Highly recommend!

Tried the teriyaki, ginger, and hot chili and all worked well with rice and chicken. We had a large group and tried the steak, shrimp, chicken, mozzarella sticks, fries, California rolls, and spicy tuna rolls. Plenty of food and everyone had leftovers. Service Issue here was our server never turned on the flattop so when the chef showed up he to turn it on and leave for a while. We were told 5 or so minutes but he didn't return for closer to 15mins. Other than that, it was a good show, our drinks stayed full, and we were given plenty of to-go boxes. Ambiance This place is a lot bigger inside than you would think. If you're not doing hibachi, there's ample sitting. Each hibachi can seat 8 people. It's a little dim in there so when the fire is going on the hibachi you can really see it. Would I go back? Yep! Food on point, enough food for multiple meals, and very decent lunch price.

We asked to be seated at a table. I asked for the Habachi chicken with noodles instead of rice and vegetables. Our order was taken quickly and all of our questions answered. The salad came out soon after but we didn't receive soup. Not sure if that's part of the lunch menu or not but I've always gotten soup and salad at previous visits. When the Habachi chicken and noodles came out it looked extremely bare. The noodles looked and tasted like they were just boiled and smothered in sauce, not cooked or marinated on the Habachi grill. The same went for the vegetables. There was also so salt or pepper in sight. The chicken tasted good but the rest of the meal didn't complement it well. I just think it's kind of sad that it seems like I have to sit and watch them cook the food to make sure it's cooked appropriately and that the same quality standard is not coming from the back kitchen.

They had a great local chain around Mid-TN that was always warm and friendly inside, slightly nicer than your hole-in-the-wall Chinese/Asian fare takeout spots, but less expensive than a PF Changs or a Pei Wei type joint. No so anymore. Honestly, none of the locations I've been to have been very good for about a decade. Save Murfreesboro's Fulin as the worst, by far. We only went in b/c I found a Local Flavor discount and we decided on a whim to whip in and use it. The restaurant is run down and many of the booths and such are falling apart inside. The food we ordered was not always what matched the menu or what we actually even ordered. Eggsample: we ordered Hot & Sour soup. It was (1) not hot, at all, and (2) it was egg-drop soup, not H&S. We ordered the appetizer sampler and were expecting the sticky ribs, but he said they were out and substituted dumplings (gyoza) instead. All three of my party's entrees came out at different times (despite two of them being the same dish), and none of ours except for ONE was hot at all. Mine was actually not only not hot at all, it wasn't even warm. It was stone cold. I should have sent it back, and I'm not sure why I didn't (so shame on me, I guess), but I wasn't feeling particularly confrontational that evening when I was the last of my party to get my dish and they were already 1/2 way through eating. I opted for the Kung Pao/beef & broccoli two entree special, the wife got a spicy beef dish, and the kid also got Kung Pao. The wife's was the only one that was truly hot (temperature wise). It wasn't that spicy, however. Mine was so cold by the time I got it, I thought they'd just left it in the window for about 10 mins before bringing it out. We also ordered a hot Sake bottle, and didn't get it until we were all 1/2 way through our meal. It was average, at best. The next day, none of the three of us felt good, but naturally I felt the worst since I half-ate my cold Kung Pao. Overall, I felt like we wasted our money, still spent a ton, despite having a coupon/discount, and we felt sick the next day. The folks are nice, and I wish this place was better, but it just wasn't. We will not be back again.

I placed a to-go order of sesame chicken with fried rice, wonton soup and chicken fresh rolls. My order took about 10-15 minutes. So it did take not too long. The food was prepared fresh so everything was nice a hot even after a short 10 min drive to get back home. The wonton soup was excellent. The chicken fresh rolls were decent, but some of the lettuce was not so fresh. Also, the peanut sauce was a little runny for my taste. The sesame chicken was pretty good, however, the fried rice was a little bland. Overall, I would say it was a decent lunch. But I would say, considering they are a little pricier than most Thai restaurants, I was expecting a little more wow. I will definitely give them another try.
