4 Stars - A Much Better Experience Than North Brunswick…read more After a frustrating visit to the North Brunswick Walmart--where pressing the help button in the paint section got me nothing but a wild goose chase to electronics and a mile-long line--I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly things went at the Old Bridge location. I pressed the button in the paint section, and unlike before, I received immediate assistance. The associate was helpful, and I was in and out quickly without any unnecessary hassle. It's clear this store is better managed and customer-focused. I'm giving four stars because while the experience was great, there's always room for improvement--but compared to North Brunswick, this place is a breath of fresh air.

The unpleasant urine smells were way too pungent and lingering that more bathroom staff need to be assigned. I wasn't even that close and smelled it way before I noticed I was by the bathrooms. I never stepped inside so that's how putrid it was! I had to take a star away for this. This one could use some brighter lights to give it a cheerier feel. It does have some interesting products like the Better Goods Walmart brand. The frozen gnocchi is quite good and so are the chippies made with avocado oil. Not all of the chippies are as healthy so check the ingredients carefully. There is a FedEx and Subway inside for convenience and shoppers find it convenient to stop at Subway for a lunch break. I found it was just okay.

Bob mentioned wraps, subs, plus tortellini, pasta and potato salad. Sounded great to me. I specifically said I wanted the pasta salad with pancetta or prosciutto (which Bob mentioned and I said "YES! One of those please!"). The food was delivered right on time but the plates were way too small to have a sandwich and some salads. That didn't really matter in the end because what got small dry subs (bread was half the size of the regular subs), meh wraps, no meat in the pasta salad and the potato salad had a watery milk like sauce with chunks of potatoes so large you'd gag if you didn't cut them in half. The wraps, tortellini and half of the subs went. No one touched the potato or the pasta salads. I don't understand how the catered food could be SO disappointing from the food in the cases. When it came time to offer food for family to take home, nobody wanted it. So I paid for food to go in the garbage. Very, very disappointed!
