Quality sandwiches at a reasonable price Breakfast and lunch is always a treat Favorites are the turkey blt and their pork roll and egg sandwiches Sliced cold cuts are fresh Fresh Italian bread brought in daily Guys behind the counter are great....everyone else not so much lol read more

They have morons working the counter. One guy does not understand English so you have to repeat your order three times. The other old guy has Asperger's. Hate going there. Wish there was another deli around. read more

Nothing wrong with a tasty meatball parm hero. Quick service and reasonably priced for a "full sub" without the portion controlled nonsense at the chains. I definitely will return when I'm in the area. read more

Stopped by on a whim to try and get some protein for breakfast. Found this place was we were driving around aimlessly. Had no expectations, but wow New Jersey knows how to do sandwiches. Tons of food, huge sandwich and huge omelette for $10. The staff was very friendly and quick. Normal gas station/convenience store ambiance but the food was delicious and well worth it at this price point! read more

Monroe Corner Deli - Egg white omelette - Delis Near Me - Monroe Township, New Jersey

Worst breakfast sandwich and food you can get in Monroe. Staff is ridiculous. I ordered a pork roll egg and cheese. The chef caramelized my egg while being on his phone for about 10 minutes. Than add on it's about 6 bucks for it. Really unfortunate. Workers don't care. If your looking for a sandwich go somewhere else and save the money read more

Monroe Deli WAS the go-to for many years. This is no longer the case. This place changed owners, and since then, everything has gone downhill from higher prices to poorer quality. If you go into Monroe Deli now, the place is always empty. You used not to be able to get a parking spot, including in the back of the building. Even with this, my family still tried to give the new owners a chance. We bought a pastry from the deli counter, and when we brought it home, we were disgusted to find out it was fully moldy inside. Enough said. read more

I think they sold out. Seen a couple characters in the office n behind the counter I never seen before. Order pot egg n cheese n got 1 egg some soggy hash brown and cheese on one side of the roll the other half was just about empty. The first one was given away as something else to another customer so I had to wait for another to be made. Deli counter was also empty. No more salads or anything. read more

Monroe Corner Deli - Supposed to be a pot egg n cheese - Delis Near Me - Monroe Township, New Jersey

Extremely rude customer service, the gentleman on the phone cut me off during the middle of my order while I'm asking question about food. Acting like he's annoyed with me. (For no reason like he hates his job) Then he tells me to hold on and he hangs up the phone on me right after. SUPER RUDE read more

Been coming here for years! They have the best subs of all time here. The bread is always so fresh and the meats are incredible. This is literally the only place I stop at for subs and cold cuts. They also have pretty good prices on all their deli food and catering. Plus the staff and owner is super sweet. I would recommend stopping in for a sub if you are ever in the area, you won't be disappointed! read more

Went in today after not having gone for a while. It has changed owners a few times. I phoned in an order for a cheesesteak and an order of fries. Person on the phone was not pleasant. I didn't even get a time when it would be ready and no goodbye... just hung up on. Then I got called back to ask if it was a half or whole. Inside, I assume the man behind the register was the owner. He didn't know how to use the computer to ring me up. Long story short, I was charged $18 and change for a cheesesteak and fries. I walked from the register to the menus to see if there were prices but there weren't. I told the guy behind that counter that $18 is expensive for a cheesesteak and fries. His reply, "Yes, it is!" The food wasn't even good. Overpriced and poor service. I can say without a doubt... I will NOT be back again!! read more

This place really changed lunch meat used, sub rolls, lettuce tomatoes all very different and not as fresh lettuce on my sub was brown and very soft rolls last time hard as a rock not even close to what they were a year or so ago. Asked for oil vinegar got mayo asked for tomato none they lost a customer read more

The lines may be long, and the staff not so friendly but the food is pretty delicious and very reasonable prices. I don't really care that the cashier didn't smile at me, may be she had a bad day, who doesn't! I recommended the cheesesteak! Super delicious and even a small size is a lot of delicious food! read more

I go here at least once a week and they are my go-to deli for cold cuts, snacks, and subs! Every so often their grilled food is a bit too greasy, but that's typical for any deli and the good definitely outweighs the bad! read more

Holy cow! That's the biggest, heaviest $7 sub I've ever seen! Easily two meals like the other reviewer said. Fantastic corner deli - I just wish I lived closer. We were only passing through today and I was lucky enough to pick this place. Incredible selection and great service too. I'll be back - this is worth going out of your way for - trust me. And, the chicken salad rocks. read more

(HOME OF THE BEST SUBS IN TOWN - 2.99 any half sub). This used to be the best place in town to get breakfast sandwiches, subs for lunch, and any item you might be out of to avoid a trip to the supermarket. It was a very affordable gem in town. That has all changed. This place is on the second owner since the original owner Larry sold it. There was a good stretch of time when the store, inside and out, was constantly dirty and the quality of fresh food and customer service was declining rapidly. In 2019 made the conscious choice not to go here again after getting the worst breakfast sandwich and coffee along with a price increase on everything in the store. 11/2020 decide to give this place another try. Ordered a 1/2 roast beef sub and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with a gallon of 1% milk. Total $14.18. WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS STORE!!! Gone are the days of quality food at a reasonable price. Larry come back!!!!! read more

This place was once good but now it's very expensive I used to come here because the deli meat was cheaper than other places but now there more expensive then other places and the workers there gave me an attitude and it very unorganized in there and it's not very clean in there. I hope it will get better in the future I was very disappointed also they charge extra for roast beef on a sub after they raised their price on the sub. They've gotten really unorganized. I don't think I will be going back anytime soon. read more

What's better than a sub from the Monroe Deli? Honestly, not much. I wish it was less crowded near the deli counter. Every time I go in there's a sea of people and you have to ask everyone if they've ordered yet and try to make your way to the front. I've started calling ahead to avoid this. read more

Great deli, sandwiches are good and tasty. The cold cuts are reasonable and good quality. Also near me so very convenient. They have a large variety of sandwiches and I like there chili read more

I I have been going to this place for a number of years and I have yet to get a bad meal from him. Will use him for catering and his prices are very reasonable. And one thing I like the most there is the cheesesteak with fried onions. For a whole sandwich it's a little over six bucks and that's a steal. read more

This place has the best subs ever and unbelievable cheap too. A whole sub lasts me two days to take to work for lunch

This is the best sandwich place I've been to in the longest time. This is my go-to from now on!

Terrible service. My wife ordered two subs today and they were totally wrong. She asked for no mayo multiple times and received two sandwiches with extra mayo. The lettuce was awful and both subs had the wrong kind of cheese. Complete waste of $8. read more

Seriously the best subs for such a good price. The guys who work there can be a little rude, but it's worth it for the food.

Excellent deli! Great service! Got a catered chicken sandwich platter for my sisters baby shower! Tasted wonderful and will definitely recommend!!! What a great find!! read more

This place is a treasure. Way better than Quiznos and Subway. Do yourself a favor and order the half sub with ham and Swiss oil vinegar

Great prices for quality food. Always call your order in if you know what you want. They tend to get very busy throughout the day. The prices throughout the entire deli are very reasonable. read more

Great cheap ($3 a half) subs, made from Boar's head products. Call in advance- lines can get long at times, although the guys behind the counter are fast. Manager is a crabby grouch, stay away from him. But that's a small price to pay for a real good sub. read more

I love this place it's convenient and the employees are always smiling and are so sweet and as for the food it's amazing. I love the gyros and my go to in the morning is coffee and a bagel with cream cheese. I love it it's always busy and it's the only place I go to in the mornings and most of the time for lunch. read more

I have been going to this Deli for months. I have to say the so called "rude woman" that everyone talks about is very nice and jokes around a lot. I guess you have to get a little more personable with her to understand her NY personality. The owner has been nice I've had no issues with him. He actually has a dry personality, I only see the register people over turn not the deli people. read more

Great prices for the size and taste of the subs. It did have a low period for awhile, but now that the original owners are back, better than ever. Usually very busy, so you might have to wait sometimes, and as other reviewers have said, sometimes the employees can be short with you. However overwell a very good deli. read more

Love the Monroe deli been going there for 15 years through out the changes and owners over the year.but not its better then ever with the new remodel and the prices are awesome on subs and breakfast sandwiches..only thing I hate is how crowed and unorganized it is when people.are waiting to give there order....please have like a ticket number system just like shoprite does in there deli department....because of the crazyness at certain times of day I won't even go into the store to order my breakfast sandwich cause I see that the place is overly crowded and I don't want to deal with the crazyness inside with the ordering crazyness line....other then the line issue its a great deli read more

They make fantastic subs at affordable prices and I can always pick up a few items on their shelves whenever I don't have the need for grocery shopping. They should reduce the 16 to 20oz soda items down 50 cents more instead of what you would pay for a full 2 liter (ridiculous)!! The home fries need improvement! The coffee bar is great! Self serve with all the "fixins" at a great price. The Staff is really great but now and then you get one or two who are rude. The place is ALWAYS packed in the early morning and early evening hours. I'm just sooooo grateful they're so close by. I'm so glad this present owner came and took over from the previous owners who obviously didn't care about their business. read more

Definitely the best subs in the area. Although there were a few bad years after the original owner sold the place, the original owner is back and the place is better than ever. If you are in the area, you definitely need to check it out. read more

I was here earlier this week, to pick up some lunch for myself & family. All seemed well like usual, however that Deli manager was one of the grouchiest & rudest bitches around. I will not be going there again. My order was wrong, & seeing her degrade & disrespect her crew, was very wrong. She was screaming & pushing her workers out of the way to code something. Disgusted. read more

Local deli with reasonably priced breakfast sandwiches and hoagies. Never have had a complaint about their food and I've been a customer for years. Also offer any size dollar coffee which is always fresh and hot. Can't beat the value and it's local which is awesome. read more

Service sucks. Orders always wrong. And they dont really care. Cheap sandwich's shouldn't substitute good service.

Amazing variety! Subs are great, porkroll egg and cheese, and of course the cheese steak! If your looking for a sandwich, coffee, or snacks this place should be your "go to" service with a smile is always a plus too and prices are not inflated- check this place out!! read more

This place is a dump. Their only highlight is that they have a deli. I ate there a couple of times and frankly, I prefer to eat fast food over this place and I do not even like fast food. read more

Although their sandwiches are very good for their price, the customer service is one of the worst experiences I've had. Orders are often messed up and the employees are rude. They will blatantly ignore you while waiting to make an order. The owner is just as rude as the employees! I've never personally written a review so for me to take the time to make one says something about this establishment. read more

Great prices for breakfast sandwiches and subs. Quality is also very good. I prefer misstate meats for my subs but those are also quite a bit more expensive. Breakfast sandwiches are best I've had in town. read more
