So yesterday was the first time I have been able to go back here since March of this year! I was just not interested in going out and about in the world just yet. Lol. But as cautious as she was pre covid-19, she is consistent post or should I say "DURING" covid-19 as well. She has remained solid in cleaning her materials and I just knew she would follow protocol even afterwards. She wore her mask and used sanitizer on her hands, and I wore my mask. She still thoroughly cleans her client's lashes too. ALL was well. She even took it as far as to cover up her client laying pad with sanitary paper so as not to transfer any kind of liquid or particles, etc. from one appointment to the next. AGAIN, I haven't seen her in almost half a year and she's so detailed that she still remembered what I wanted because she keeps notes on all of her clients! That's so smart!!! INSTEAD of asking, "how do you want it?" each time. I've said before and I'll say it again...no one else is TOUCHING my lashes but her! The times that I had to wear makeup (which was only five times since March of this year) I used the magnetic lashes which was Moxie Lash but there's nothing that beats the touch of Vu Lashes hands on my eyelashes! Let me start by saying I've been getting lash extensions off and on for years; and any breaks I might have taken were as a result of lash loss or eye irritation (a part of extensions I thought was the norm.) Vu is amazing and very knowledgeable about her product and application. I have been going to her for almost a year. Before I started getting my lashes done by her, I had to go in for refills every two weeks. I thought this was the norm, as I like mine to always stay nice and full. After I began using her services, I noticed my lashes tend to stay in for much longer. I don't usually feel that I need a refill until 4 weeks later and even then they are still pretty full for being that far out. Let me just start off this review by telling you that you will probably never find another lash technician more caring and honest than Vu. I have struggled for years trying find a great lash technician who does quality work. I once went to a place who did everything so gently and the lashes were great quality, however they fell off in a week and they required me to go every other week in order to get refills. That was ALOT of money spent for lashes that didn't last. So I found another lash place, this time as they were applying it my eyes started to water up and burn but they said it was normal. Later that night my eyes were so swollen they hurt to touch and I could barely open my eyes. I got it removed the next morning. I gave my lashes a break for a few months and I decided to try another place, my friends had recommended me to go to their lash lady so I made an appointment. I was so happy that I didn't have a reaction to the glue BUT the lashes hurt. They felt so hard. I stayed with her for a couple of months and then decided to try amazing lash. I went there and the glue did burn my eyes a little bit and for a few days my eyes were red. It looked great but after a week of having them on, my lashes didn't look that great. They were dropping and they became hard. I decided to get them removed after only having them on for a week. So as you can tell I've only had bad experiences with lashes. I thought it was myself, that it was my eyes that was allergic to lash glue. Or that my Asian lashes aren't fit to handle lash extensions. But now that has all changed. I am SO SO SO SO HAPPY that I found Vu Lash because not only is she super sweet but she was willing to listen to my lash struggles. She asked me what kind of lashes I envisioned and I told her I really want a full volume lash (dramatic volume). She was honest and said she could do it for but BUT it will most likely damage my lash in the long run especially cause I have Asian lashes and they aren't as strong. She recommended Natural volume and she said she can still make it full. I decided to go with her recommendation and guess what. I LOVE IT. First off, I had NO burning sensation on my eyes due to the glue. She is so gentle and she does quality work. Second, her personality is amazing. I usually don't talk to my technicians because I'm very shy and reserved and I find it hard to hold a conversation. However, I spoke with Vu the entire time I was there. And third, the lashes she uses are QUALITY LASHES. They are super SOFT and they feel so natural. Vu is very passionate and you can tell right when you step into her room. She'll greet you with a smile, ask what you envision, and TADA the magic begins. What's super great about my lashes is that not one has even fell off yet! I'm only 5 days in, but I shower every day and my lashes are still on and still look like I just got them done! I usually wear a lot of make up to work but my lashes gave me a confidence booster and I only wear foundation and put eyebrows on to work now. I'm so glad I found Vu lash! Please don't be scared by the little reviews. Honestly, you should give her a chance because I promise you. You will love the results. Vu cares about the health of your natural lashes because if there is no natural lash then there are no lash extensions. I used to do my lashes with vu for more than a year ,I even brought her 5 new clients. Her work was ok (the only reason I kept going to her it's because she's 5 mins from me). the lashes use to fall at the same day I've got them done, and when I told her that after 2 weeks I don't have lashes, she said it's because of my natural lashes. One day I came for a refill after 3.5 weeks and she asked me for 80$ I was surprised and I told her that it's expensive because I've never paid that much for a refill, her response was: "you can go to somewhere else if it's too much for you" and then I opened her website and showed her that it's says that for 3.5 weeks it's 70$ so she got mad and told me that she's not interested in doing business with me anymore. She's ungrateful!!! She needs to learn how to talk with her clients, and stop changing the prices for work that worth 60$. She charges 130$ for a full set and its not worth it and it takes forever. read more

My lashes have never looked better Her studio is very clean, and she is incredibly friendly. Had me laughing with her the whole time. I felt zero pain, and even after the lashes are super comfortable. It's clear she's very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. I totally recommend that you get your lashes done here and NOT anyone else. She really takes her time to give you quality results as well as maintaining your lashes health so they don't fall out or get damaged over time. With her, it's not about the money she really cares about what looks/ is best for you. Other places will take your money and do whatever you ask for, however, the lash technician could be doing it on weak lashes and you're just wasting your money.
