I went in for purely cosmetic reasons and he ended up GIVING me a deviated septum. Yeah, you read that right. I can only breathe at 20% at best from my right nostril now! This is not because of swelling, or to just wait it out and it'll all be fine a year after surgery because it's been 5 years. I am now having to get a revision rhinoplasty solely because of Dr. Costa. I met with him a year after and expressed my problems to him. He checked it out and said it looked perfect and there is nothing to change. My nose was straight before, never had problems breathing. He literally made my nose visibly crooked. No joke, it looks like someone kneed me in the face and broke my nose. And I can't breathe well now. Apparently this guy is good at facelifts, but he did a rhinoplasty, and that didn't go so well. Shortly after my surgery and prior to me waiting a year to see the real results, I allowed myself to be blinded by his sweet staff and actually referred my friend to him for a rhinoplasty. He did her nose too and she's so unhappy with it. Long story short: LOOK ELSEWHERE.

In 2009, I lost my breast to cancer. As the tumor was aggressive, I had to have a radical mastectomy and complete axillary dissection. Dr. O'Neill is a very kind physician and he proved to be very skilled in Breast Cancer Reconstruction, as well. He performed a DIEP-FLAP surgery, which still looks great 13 years later. There were 2 things in my experience that caused me frustration: 1) The front-office seemed very disorganized. They scheduled and rescheduled nearly every appointment multiple times and at the last minute. For my actual surgery date, they rescheduled the date and time without notifying me. I only found out because I reached out thinking it was mistake when they sent me an appointment confirmation email. Luckily, my work is flexible and I was able to make it work but I could see that becoming a bigger issue for someone who doesn't have flexibility. 2) While Dr. Costa was highly experienced and polite enough, if I'm being honest, I felt like just another number. For my 2 follow-up appointments, I waited an hour just to have a quick 5-minute check-in that were both pretty pointless. I was expecting him to really look and feel my post-op nose and discuss how it was recovering. Instead, he quickly popped in and asked if I had any questions or concerns (without even really looking at my nose). When I did ask a question, he was dismissive and defensive as if he assumed that I was expressing dissatisfaction even though I assured him it was strictly curiosity. I wish I had found a doctor who was more attentive and personable. Dr. Costa has a lot of great reviews so maybe my experience was a bit of a fluke. My only advice to anyone seeking a plastic surgeon is to shop around to find a doctor/practice that you feel good about -- trust your gut and speak up.

In…read morethe examination room where I waited a brief time, I saw on the walls the photos, newspaper reports and other proof of the numerous children in other countries who previously had hemangiomas (large red, swollen places) on their faces before he operated on them FOR FREE. I asked him if he still did this, as some photos and reports were 15 years ago. With a bit of pride, he does. (Later in speaking with a lady at church who had seen him she said that he had told her that his plastic surgery practice is what he still does in order to fund his charitable work.) For me, he needed only a quick exam of the venous malformation (VM--congenital, and not cancerous or dangerous, he noted) but spent a lot of time explaining my three options including not doing anything. I will be going back to him after I make an appointment and have him do the injections. After all, that is my choice and my regular dermatologist referred me to Dr. Hochman. Lower lip droops now. Eating has been problematic. Still experience discomfort. The final prosthesis is nothing like I was shown in the office numerous times. It is just like the temporary that fit over my lower jaw and not at the gum line like a regular All-On-4 . I was shown an All-On-4 many times and told that would be my final. It was pretty expensive but I wouldn't mind the money if I had gotten what I was shown. They had 32,000 reasons to be honest with me. Really disappointed.

What turned into a trip with my girlfriend to get an…read moreprocedure done similar to Botox, turned into a massive time bulgar with extra associated costs. I wish I never heard of this place. Initially my girlfriend purchased $2500 worth of cold sculpting and Jeuveau injectables. My girlfriend purchased the injectables for me and her to do together, but when we went to the clinic we found that she could not transfer the credits to me, which seemed odd because they were already purchased. I elected to buy them myself to support my girlfriend and do something new together. $370 later with a $75 coupon I found myself pretty excited since they were projected to last 4 months or so. Long story short. I went back for another procedure because the initial application did not work and spots were missed. I looked like I had bad Botox . I came back a week or so later to get it fixed and was charged $75 more dollars, which I would have paid $1000 at this point to get myself from looking the way I did. I then took a third trip back because my wrinkles came back in 3 weeks. After talking with Dr Hensley he said 3 others had stated the same problem that were treated the same day (my girlfriend being one of them) and it could be a bad batch. Dr. Hensley and I talked while I explained that I would be a life long customer if we could find a product that worked. He stated he would give me a credit, and to check in a week or so. I called today and no credit was applied. Notes were put in my file regarding my issue but no credit. He straight up lied to my face, and his administrative clerk/ social media rep was the one who had to deal with it. I felt bad for her. My girlfriend on the other hand was told she never received a promotional deal and each treatment would be at full cost. This was done after all of her treatments were complete. Unfortunately we have the flyer and my girlfriend purchased the items with 2 other of her girlfriends, so we will see how this turns out. In the end I'm very disappointed in how me and my girlfriend were treated by the owner and some staff members. It felt like we became the enemy when we just wanted to buy and try some of the services available. I feel like they are struggling to pay the bills or something and they need every dollar they can get.
