Everything went well! Beautiful facility with seemingly every diagnostic machine possible. Great staff and Dr. Waring is just the best.

If you're thinking of getting LASIK, I highly recommend Magill Vision Center and Dr.

Dr. Solomon was my family eye Dr when I was young, and now that I am old I still trust him with my…read moreeyes. I was looking into Lasik, and was treated with tender care from start to finish. I showed up having pre-registered online, but we found it easier for her to just copy my cards the old-fashioned way. Kacie is an all-knowing, troubleshooting peach. Checked in and had all my eye measurements taken by a lovely lady who enjoys Chick-fil-A, tell her I went to Mozzo and ordered too much! Anyway, Dr. Schaeffer then came to discuss options, measure again, and put some trial contacts in my eyes to see what I would see. She was kind, honest, and obviously knew what she was doing. I talked to a delightful redheaded lady in financing and she told me everything. I had good options so left with my head buzzing, able to see around me without glasses for the first time in years. I was so excited. I came back after a few days to bad news. Lasik is not an option. I have to wait to get cataracts and then get new lenses during that surgery. But Dr Schaeffer gave me a glasses prescription and contacts prescription and everyone was just so kind. I was a bit heartbroken. But they're now my new optometrist. Everything comes around. Also, there is a bowl full of shades at the front desk if you get dilated. I didn't.

Perhaps the eye care part is fine but not the cosmetic side. I spent $3,500 for a check fill which…read morewas extremely high and 3 times more than I have ever paid before - but was guaranteed long term results. When I called back to discuss the procedure I found out that the doctor I used had left. Therefore, I left a message for the new person to call me - and no response. I called back 4 more times - talked to the person answering the phones who assured me that she would hand deliver message. Still no response. I wrote the owner, John Boathouse. No response. So just know - this is how this business handles customers from the top down. They don't care. So now I go to Germain Dermatology- they are very reasonable and have much better customer service. I gave them one star because those that answered the phones were so sympathetic and nice.

Dr O'Day has literally done tens of thousands of these procedures and I couldn't have felt in more capable hands. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. O'Day should retire or just limit his practice to Lasik & forget the Cataract Surgery which is…read moremore invasive. I had cataract surgery done. First red flag was his tech got my test results wrong & the Dr. discussed the mistake in front of me. He caused an abrasion on my left eye with the equipment on my first procedure. I didn't want to go back but I did. The other eye has been nothing but problems with cloudiness, insane floaters which can be a sign of corneal debris remaining in the eye, a constant muscle twitch after 3 months & it feels like I'm wearing a contact-as though the lens isn't implanted properly. He also highly recommended tear duct cauterization for dry eyes. I evidently didn't need it because now I have excessive tearing and overflow because my eyes can't drain. This has caused eye swelling and bags. The procedure is not reversible. I learned that most drs. have patients try the removable plugs first to see if there is overflowing. Dr. O'Day interprets a patients questions & concerns as criticism-he gets very defensive & doesn't explain anything.  I told him I had tried the monovision with contacts & I didn't like it but he said with lens implants it was different. It's NOT any different! Everyone I know who was talked into this "monovision" hates it.  I have constant eye strain & headaches from having one eye 20/30 & one eye 20/20.  I'll probably just wear a contact to correct the one eye. Do yourself a favor & find yourself another Dr. A retired surgeon just recommended George Waring, Paul Herring & Solomon.  I have an appt. with one of them to get checked out.
