This review is strictly for a Kids Bowling Birthday Party in the Z Lounge…read more Totally worth what we paid! Our youngest turned 5 and we wanted to throw him an extra special birthday party with friends. We've done private room bowling parties before and they're so great for enjoying time with other families and kids. You have a sectioned off private area so kids can run around and play and adults can relax and chat knowing the little ones can't escape easily. This was a 10/10 party! We paid for: 20 kids to bowl for 3 hours in the Z Lounge, endless soft drinks for 2 hours, 5 large 1 topping pizzas for the 20 kids and then adults had leftovers. We let the adults know it was a party for kids only to bowl and we'd have drinks and pizza for the kids and the adults were welcome to order food and drinks with a waiter that came to and from the room often. We also kept the $200 in arcade money and 20 ride/attraction passes for our kids instead of sharing them with the kids that came to the party. Our kids had an amazing time using those at a later date. It was totally worth it for everyone to have an amazing time and not have to host a party in our home. Also, shout out to Jules who helped us during the birthday party- she is amazing!! Thanks Wahooz Bowling Alley!

We had a great server, can't recall his name at the moment, but he was friendly and attentive. My sister got the chicken sandwich and I got the chicken strips and despite all the negative reviews we were impressed with how good the food was; I even liked the coleslaw and I never like coleslaw! We will DEFINITELY be back as we would like to try their happy hour next time (4pm-7pm or 9pm to close)! I will say that I do have a game request...Plinko!!

I haven't been to D&B in many years but a friend of mine and his family were visiting from out of…read moretown. They go to D&B weekly near their home. Matter of fact, my friend has a D&B gold card that they don't even make any more. He has a gazillion points on it and he is adept at playing a lot of the midway aka fair games. His daughter is just as adept so imagine my surprise when I blew through my $25.00 card in about 10 mins and each of them had won a combined 50,000 tickets. What was cooler than cool was that my friend asked my daughter, which stuffed animal she wanted and she pointed to a pig with a green hoodie. The employee was so kind to get out the ladder and grab the pig with the green hoodie. My friend handled the employee the gold card and I don't think she had ever seen anything like it She swiped it and basically said, " Ya. You're good". I laughed so hard. I ended up asking her if she had ever seen a point total that high, and she had not. It was a cool experience for everyone. In the end, I am not that savy in playing these games and the carpet does smell like old socks but I can see where it can be fun once and awhile.

Big Al's is a fun, all-in-one spot--bowling, arcade, bar, sports bar/restaurant, and event rooms…read more Definitely gives Main Event vibes (if you're from the Midwest/southern states). It's a great atmosphere to watch a big game, and the overall look and feel is pretty on par for Idaho. The food is just okay, nothing super special, but the service is pretty great for such a large, busy place. On top of that, its location is within the Village, so you're in walking distance to many more other shops as well.

I had a very confusing and frustrating experience at Big Al's. My friend and I wanted to play…read moredarts, so we asked an employee named Kimberlee about it. At first, she told us that both players had to be at least 18 years old. We told her that wasn't a problem because we both were. She then said we both had to be drinking alcohol in order to play, which didn't make sense since that would require being 21 or older. When I questioned that, she changed her explanation and said we had to pay $8.50. I said that was fine, but then she told us they only accepted cash, even though I had seen other customers paying with cards elsewhere in the building. We walked away, and about 20 minutes later we noticed a group of three boys who appeared to be under 18 playing darts without any alcoholic drinks. We politely asked Kimberlee how they were able to play if the rules she gave us were true. Her response was simply that she "didn't care anymore." The rules seemed to change every time we had an answer for them, and then they apparently didn't apply to other customers. Whether it was poor communication or inconsistent enforcement, the experience left us feeling singled out and unwelcome. I hope management addresses this so future customers receive clear and consistent information.
