This is a good place for younger kids but not great for teenagers. If you are comparing to Haunted World, this place isn't scary at all despite their ads. That said, it is a great place for younger kids, hay rides, and all of the great family fun you'd imagine at a pumpkin patch. It is a very cool location with a lot of fun attractions. Definitely make this a family day with your youngers or with the whole family, but go early then drop off the teens at a spookier venue! The people here are great, parking is easy and you'll have a lot of fun. Bring a camera, there are lots of good photo ops! read more

Nyah's Haunted Woods brings your secret fears to life with a blend of a true organic location & your most terrifying nightmares. The inhabiting monsters are the products of twisted notions of false safety. The path covers a vast amount of farm land out at Twin Oaks Farms, with a giant pyramid at the center. An actual Living Haunted House will be on your journey as well when you make it beyond our graveyard, which as once a boneyard many years ago. The true count is unknown but it is believed that there were over 400 poor vagrants thrown into the mass grave site. A beautifully lit archway, a path of twinkling lights & a glistening pond reflecting the moonlight seems like you are walking into a sweet dream when in fact it is leading you into a morbid nightmare. If you survive, you now are awarded the chance to meet Nyah, the 184 year old baby zombie. She may appear to be a child but don't let that fool your senses. Following her direction, the true nature of her evil intentions are revealed as you make your way through an array of terrors, in the hopes getting away. It was my first year and based off past reviews, it definitely isn't what it was in years past. No corn field One food truck Two big inflatable slides 1 tarot card reader 2 mazes 1 immersion experience-$10 extra The execution felt sloppy and unfinished. It has a very "carney bootleg" vibe. It didn't feel like a highly stage crafted production. On the website they make it seem like it's a complete event, with things to do beyond the maze. There was not. Here is the silver lining, the two mazes ( Asylum and clown) were descent. A lot of jump scares and a few cool features(vibrating floor and loud horns). The actors did a good job of interacting and really are the heart of the experience. Is it worth $30? Umm, that's debatable. I'd probably say it's close to $20. Bottom line it's not as bad as people make it seem in other reviews, but it certainly isn't as good either. I made the most of it with my group and we had a good time getting scared. I probably wouldn't go back next year unless there was a complete overhaul. Pro tip: You don't need VIP/Express, save your money. Longest wait for me was 20mins(7pm time). You can buy your own ticket at the door. You'll save on fees Even though you have a online ticket, you have to stand in purchase line to get a paper ticket that's taken at the front of maze.

Spot where you have to walk through some inflated thing. My sister and I did not know and got lost but one of the scary but helpful person turned us around and helped us. I used to work at a haunt and I'm insane enough that the only person who scared me was a mime who didn't even talk! They are not allowed to touch you so everyone who is extremely scared just remember that and then it is a little less scary knowing not a single person can hurt you!

There was also pumpkin picking and loved that you can go out to the field and grab a wagon and such a fun activity to do with the family. They also had a lot of fun picture ops with the pumpkins as well & the little barn area that was decorated with pumpkins. Their sunflower field was so amazing I had never been to one but it was magical. Wear shoes you don't care for cause it was muddy in the fields and you can take the ones you like and just pay for them at the little shack. They also had tons of Zinnias that were beautiful and those were up for purchase as well. Everyone there is always very friendly and helpful whenever we go in there as well. One of the girls at the register gave us tips on how to cook our beef brisket low and slow, and let me tell you, it was the best brisket we ever had. Also, if you are looking for some good local honey, they have the best. I swear it is so thick and sweet, it is like caramel. It is so clean, well-organized, and a super cute little place to visit. Give them a try, you won't regret it.

I had the mindset coming here there would be several people Q'n it up to fill up an 8 hour event of music and eating. Although the pulled pork I ordered was tasty, serving it with Sweet Baby Rays, a product I can buy off the shelf, was not what I had expected. I can see some great potential with this event. Not sure how many years this has run, but I do hope next time they add more to the BBQ side of things. Surely there must be some other BBQ enthusiasts around the treasure valley who want to showcase their talents at an event like this. There was one lucky find having bought two bottles off of a local Q sauce maker. Can't wait to Go home and grill something up to enjoy his creation.
