We had a great time! Multiple kids/adults could play at a time. They had a variety of games. We loved it.

A huge thank you to Gisselle -- she was wonderful! She made sure we knew exactly what to do and helped make everything smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. The best part was the surprise at the end: when the team found out it was my son's birthday, they set up a special VR birthday moment just for him. It was such a cool touch and made the experience feel truly magical. Worth every penny! Thank you all for making our night unforgettable!

Sandbox VR has some of the best virtual reality experiences on the market. I've been to their…read moreCerritos location here several times with coworkers and I've taken family to their location at the Venetian in Las Vegas. If you're unfamiliar with them, then I'd highly recommend their zombie games (Deadwood Mansion, Deadwood Phobia) as they have the most immersive experiences. Came back on November 14 with 16 adult coworkers and we played the Stranger Things VR Game. In that game, you are one of the "kids" with the telepathic powers and you attack the demogorgons with your "powers". The gameplay reminds me of the Spiderman ride at California Adventure. I like/prefer the feel and haptics of the weapons you get to use in their zombie games, and I think that's a generally better experience. Our experience was hampered quite a bit by lag, that brought the game to a halt at several key moments. Our group also had a suboptimal experience with the onboarding process. We have been here several times, and we were a group of working adults; however, we were spoken to as if we were children who were incapable of figuring out how to put on sensors. Moreover, a third of our group, with their gear (sensors/headsets) donned in their private room, had a thirty-minute delay to start the game with no assistance from the employee who was supposed to be helping them. With the inaction, the headsets caused some to feel tired, and one of our group members left in frustration. This unexpected delay impeded our other plans, and this was unacceptable. After these issues, when we talked to this employee in charge, they said that the issue occurred "because someone else didn't do their job properly". We didn't need to know that. We just needed accountability and professionalism to get what we paid for. Because the cost per person for a game is fifty to sixty dollars per person, you expect a smooth experience when your group puts down $750+. The experience was suboptimal and our group of 16 left with a bad taste that was incongruent with our previous experiences.

I have motion sickness and Ican not ride 3D/4D rides without feeling queezy. I can not watch the classic Star Wars movie because it was too shaky for me. Hell, (spoilers) i didnt even know they blew up the death star because i couldnt watch the ending of the first movie! I can't do Star Tours, soaring over the world/california, spinning rides, playing first person shooter (fps) games...get the picture? I had to try this for myself to say if I truly can or can not do VR. There are "moving" elements in this VR game that can cause motion sickness. Standing still as your surroundings move is a major part of this very immersing game! You will also be going "up/down" ramps on a flat service, so that will throw off your equilibrium. Defying virtual physics is what Dennis explained. I had my ways to gain back my center and refocus as I was playing this game. If you wear glasses, please bring them, it will help! I thought I had mine, but I forgot it. The staff will help you get calibrated with the equipment and send you on your way. At one point, my vr set started to get blurry so I had a hard time seeing the enemies, but they were big enough to see when they're "five feet" in front of you, lol. It also got blurry because sweat was starting to form around my eyes. This is going to be a very lengthy review. First off, parking is a little confusing if you're not from the area. I had to circle three times to park on the same side as this venue. There is a parking structure on the opposite side of the street. All structures give you 90 minutes free without the need of validation. Then, it can go up to $25 for the maximum structure price. The venue is like the TARDIS. It's bigger on the inside, haha. The door remains locked, but they have a ring doorbell that contains a phone number to call for someone to come open the door for you. Talk about a personal greeting! When you first walk in, you have a set of stairs. They also have a handicap lift, so they are ADA compliant! Kudos! They have a row of stationery equipment that allows you to run/walk in place and turn. They also have a two-seater ride. They have 5 seatbelts that will strap you in for safety. One for each shoulder, one for your lap, and one each for your feet. They also have an overhead bar that you pull down as if youre actually on a Rollercoaster. If you ride the Rollercoaster one, you will get sick. You will experience the motion, but you won't get the effect (wind/air) of a moving vehicle. They have a wall of lights set as an aquarium as a little seated waiting area. They suggest optimum fun and experience, 6 to 8 people in your party. That is also how many guests can play in each area. They have two areas that are meant for 8 players, their pvp area and their main floor. Get this! They have an escape room, max is 6 players! I definitely want to come back and try this one! Another area is family friendly and is great for up to 6 people as well. Dennis explained to us that the reason this place has the word "World" in this establishment is because these rooms came from all over the place! I think he said the family friendly room was from china/taiwan/japan...etc.. so that's pretty cool! They have a little area where you can host a party, but it's not secluded, it's open to the public. This venue is open to the public and walk-ins are good, but you may have to wait. Dennis mentioned some guest had to wait 2-3 hours until their turn. The guest did leave a deposit to ensure their spot in line. So they suggest to book online to set up a reservation. Each gaming area is about a 30 minute session. You will sweat because you will be moving a lot. It is a workout! Only one sad note, I wish there was more air flow in the building. Because I have motion sickness, I needed fresh air to cool me down. This was a fun experience and I do intend on coming back!

Customer service is top notch here. I've never seen a business actually take in feed back so well…read more TDLR: We came in Feb and we didn't have the best experience. Our friend broke a club here and the policy at the time was that the rentee had to pay for the price of a brand new club even though they were renting a used club. after voicing my opinion, they decided to change the policy and agreed that people who break a rental club should just pay for the value of a used golf club. I've never seen a business go above and beyond and meet customers in the middle ground like that so it really meant a lot to me. We came back again in March again and service was significantly better. They were very attentive and were very helpful with showing us how to work the machines. There are a lot of different play modes but putting is one of my faves because I suck at swinging. The private rooms are really cool's because you can sing & swing at the same time!! The best of both worlds if u have friends that don't really golf but wanna hang c: Food here is bomb!! lowkey better than a lot of pocha spots. The kimchi pasta and rose dukbokki are so tasty and the Korean fried chicken is so fire. The honey garlic was my fave flavor for the friend chicken. Parking here is also super easy. There's a giant lot and it's never really an issue. Overall this is a great establishment with really good food, golf, and karaoke all in one!!

Golf Plus is an absolute blast with friends…read more The setup is perfect for group hangouts--especially the private rooms, which are clutch since they also have karaoke. You can screen golf, take breaks, sing terribly, then jump right back in. It makes the whole experience feel more like a night out than just a golf session. Pricing is actually pretty reasonable once you split it with the group, especially considering how long you can hang out and how much you're getting out of it. Also... the food is way better than expected. The fried chicken and pasta are legit restaurant-level quality, not the usual "entertainment venue food." Honestly impressed. Great vibes, great food, great group activity. Easy 5 stars and a spot I'd happily come back to.
