Had just finished breakfast and wanted something sweet and healthy to finish it off. A quick search brought me to Voyage, so we hopped in the car and made our way up to the Y parking lot where the Voyage Bowl food truck is parked across from the skate park. I purchased a small bowl and my partner purchased a smoothie. I've had a lot of açaí bowls around the UM campus where we live, but the Voyage Bowl was by far the best I've had. Just right amount of crunch and sweet. It really hit the spot. My partner though his smoothie was excellent too. Highly recommend!

I was craving an Acai Bowl and wasn't sure if Grand Haven had a place that made them since I have visited dozens of times. I typed it in Yelp and sure enough this place popped up! I looked at the photos and thought how have I not seen this place before... well it was their fourth day open! The directions took us to the right spot, in the parking lot of the YMCA. I love supporting new, small businesses espcially one that serves my all time favorite thing! I wanted everything off the menu! However I got the Bucketlist! One of the best acai bowls I ever had! Now, I am craving another one!

What a delightful find! I thoroughly enjoyed a freshly blended juice on my visit. I ordered a small and wish I had ordered a large. I would highly recommend The Passport, which is a delicious blend of Pineapple, Carrot, Ginger, Turmeric, & Lime. I look forward to trying an açaí bowl my next visit.

Got an açaí bowl, it was $10 for a small and it wasn't very good... not worth the 30 minute drive.

Met up with a friend for brunch at Morning Star recently. It was my first time visiting and I was…read moreexcited since breakfast/brunch is my favorite meal to order out! There was a bit of a wait but they have a little area to sit and browse the menu. The place is cozy and homey, a bit crowded but not too bad. Our server was really helpful and kind. I ordered a coffee, and they have alcoholic options if you'd like a bloody mary, spiked coffee, mimosa, etc. I liked that they brought me my own little carafe for the table. We ordered a blueberry pancake for the table, and I got the tree hugger (zucchini, yellow squash, tomato, mushroom, baby spinach, black beans, and cheese, served over diced redskin potatoes. I also added eggs. The pancake was fluffy and sweet, and very large which was great for us to split. I really wanted some vegetables so I was very happy with the tree hugger. It was cheesy and warm, and all the veggies were delicious. I added some hot sauce which made it perfect! My friend got the breakfast burrito which looked really good. I'm glad I got to try this spot and would come back! They do have a lunch menu during the week as well (it said lunch items are limited on weekends).

This is a local favorite. But if you're not local, let me give you a review…read more I have mixed feelings about this place. First off let me point out that there is no private parking lot for this place. This is no big deal if you're from a bigger city like GR, Chi or NYC. But if you're from a smaller town like Muskegon, Coopersville or Fremont where every business has their own private lot this might be a major inconvenience to you. park across the street or on the street if you can find a spot. I was patronizing MSC on a very cold day. This old location has no air lock on the front door, so everytime it opens to let customers exit or enter....the cold air rushes in. Keep that in mind when choosing your table. The restaurant has a warehouse feel to it, similar to the Blue Porch on Beacon Blvd. If you like that style....great. If not you have to deal with acoustics, and a cold drafty feeling, especially in the Winter. Food was actually in line with other restaurants in town unless you want to start getting fancy with the "specials." Believe me, those specials are very popular. Especially the waffle/pancake dishes that are similar to a super sweet dessert at 2000 calories. The last time I was there, the server was friendly, but because of the layout of the dining room, they have a hard time keeping an eye on the tables. So getting a coffee refill or a request for something becomes a waiting game. Overall the food is presented very well and is tasty.
