The first thing that struck me (besides the unenthusiastic customer service) was that the prices (for comparable bowls) were higher than what I'm accustomed to. The bowl I got was $15, so at that price point, I already had high expectations. Only 2 base choices that day - Pitaya and the blue stuff- since Açai was unavailable. Pitaya is hit or miss usually, some places are good, others just taste like ice with a hint of flavor. The girl handed me my bowl while looking down at her on her phone, making no eye contact. Anyway, taste test! Unfortunately the pitaya had no flavor and the rest of the bowl just kind of flopped. Granola was almost flavorless and could use a little more sweetness. I'm wondering if it was just an off day? I'm willing to come back again at some point. Just not anytime soon.

Where have I been??? And I can't believe I am getting an FTR???!!! What an awesome start to my day! So there are so many awesome choices, tea, smoothies, shakes. A really nice space with a sizable bar to socialize. I spoke with the very gracious owner. She answered all our questions and even gave us reward cards and info on how to call in our orders. They open at 5 am!! This place keeps getting better and better. I soooo want to see this place succeed and do well. My only criticism is that that name would imply it's like a GNC or vitamin type place. Oh no, this a very sociable smoothie bar. So I asked, why is it not advertising and drawing more people in from the street? Well, I guess there are restrictions on advertising by the associated supplement supplier. The more I went, the more I fell in love. They have a very friendly staff, they are quick, and there are always people inside! It is an awesome place to do work, set up your laptop, and study. I think its cool to see the crowd change as the season changes, and now they even have a smoothie shop outside for the tourist season! They have delicious coffees, sandwiches, fruit, and baked goods. The turtle muffin is so good, and the white chocolate raspberry scones are so incredibly good. I really enjoy this place, and my dog even knows that when we go, she gets a doggie bagel! I place my order - and nothing happens. Appeared they were possible short-staffed, but then I noticed another employee further to the back of the store. He didn't appear to be participating in restaurant operations, but appeared to be busy on his cell phone. More customers arrive. Still no move to make my order. After roughly 6 orders were ready to be prepared, the employee from the back rushes forward, placing in cell phone by the cash register, with a caller still active on the phone. He hurriedly, preps the roughly 6 orders. He then asks me which one is mine. He had no idea. The whole process took way too much time. I don't expect to be going back.
