However, if you don't, the only cup size they offer is quite small. On the other hand, if you're considering staying around, Aldea has a really pleasant atmosphere, especially in Muskegon. The baristas are always friendly, which is a plus. Great for hanging around, not so great for a quick cup of coffee.

I also added eggs. The pancake was fluffy and sweet, and very large which was great for us to split. I really wanted some vegetables so I was very happy with the tree hugger. The first thing that struck me (besides the unenthusiastic customer service) was that the prices (for comparable bowls) were higher than what I'm accustomed to. The bowl I got was $15, so at that price point, I already had high expectations. Only 2 base choices that day - Pitaya and the blue stuff- since Açai was unavailable. Pitaya is hit or miss usually, some places are good, others just taste like ice with a hint of flavor. The girl handed me my bowl while looking down at her on her phone, making no eye contact. Anyway, taste test! Unfortunately the pitaya had no flavor and the rest of the bowl just kind of flopped. Granola was almost flavorless and could use a little more sweetness. I'm wondering if it was just an off day? I'm willing to come back again at some point. Just not anytime soon.
