    The pink box

Love to stop in and get some donuts whenever we visit Universal City Walk. This time was no different. We love the variety of unique donuts they offer. We got the Dirt, Raspberry filled donut, glazed donut, orange creme and a coconut donut. Service is fast and friendly. When it is your turn to enter the store, you go through this circular line where the donuts are showcased in a glass case. This gives you time to preview the donuts they offer. When it is your turn, you go to the cashier and place your order, pay and then wait for them to fill the pink box and call your name. Very efficient system of moving people through.

This is such a popular spot that's located along Universal Citywalk! The crowds here are continuous throughout the day but especially in the morning before the parks have opened! Despite the large crowds, the line moves quickly! There's so many great donut flavors & drink options! This cafe is more of a grab & go spot as there is not any tables/chairs! Highly recommend trying the donuts & taking a cute pic on their chair!

We had an hour to kill before Universal opened and remembered Voodoo Doughnut was on the City Walk. Getting in at 8:30a was so much easier than what we'd seen the evening before, with folks grabbing doughnuts to take back to their hotels. I loved my cake blueberry doughnut. Also devoured was a sprinkles doughnut, apple fritter, and not so Boston cream doughnut. We've got great local doughnut shops in Louisville and this competed with them. There's a great menu and rotating case of doughnuts to help you pick your box. Some apparel and accessories for those that fall in love with Voodoo Doughnuts. Grab and go spot. Take your box back for the hotel or home, or snag a nearby seat on the City Walk.

Voodoo Doughnuts is a hot spot in the Universal Orlando Resort's Citywalk. With an eye-catching exterior, giant doughnut throne perfect for photos, and New Orleans inspired decor on the inside, Voodoo is a must-stop spot at least once when visiting Citywalk. The menu is huge with both cake and yeast doughnut options as well as other pastries. There are options to purchase individual items or bundle in a dozen. The menu can be overwhelming for first-timers who are mesmerized by the spinning display case. You can check out the menu online ahead of time on Voodoo's website or using the Universal Orlando app. Don't want to wait in line? You can also submit a mobile order. We visit Voodoo every time we go to Universal. Sometimes we have great service, other times the service is rude and rushed. Sometimes the doughnuts are fresh and flavorful, other times they are stale. I do think it's worth it to give Voodoo a try, because when they are "on", they are incredible!

The best donuts! I have the apple fritter every time it is available!! It's HUGE and definitely shareable. They do have limited coffee options and the coffee is good. Super cute place with good color scheme. You can order ahead but many times the line isn't bad and doesn't take too long. Universal pass discount applies!

Fun little popular donut spot at City Walk that we tried tonight. Line was a little long to get in but it went REALLY fast! Employees were so friendly. LOTS of donuts to choose from. We got the chocolate old fashioned, blueberry cake, and one of their signature flavors the Portland cream. Donuts were very tasty without feeling overly sweet or greasy.

Yum! Best donuts ever, sorry ATL. Large, full of goodness, super fresh. You name it. We had them twice in 3 days, that good! If the que looks long, don't worry it moves fast. You do have to listen intently for your name tho, the counter can be a bit chaotic. Looks like a giant party, flavors are in the round display case but you may find a couple more additions at the counter. Be prepared but don't rush!!

Holy sweet tooth haven! Now I'm not a huge sweet tooth person but whilst in the city walk at dinner and about the area, we kept seeing these pink boxes everywhere! So of course, we had to seek them out as well and behold a wild doughnut shop with all their offerings in a spinning display case, shining brightly in the front display of all the various creations they had to offer. There's a little bit (or alottabit) for everyone. They are gourmet priced doughnuts, everything is listed on their menu online and on the menu boards. We opted for a half dozen: 2x Glazed Oh captain, my crunch ODB Raspberry Romeo Portland Cream Now what you see in the made spinning display is a smaller scale of what the donuts actually look like. They are very large donuts! Still good next day / day after, pop in a microwave for 10-12 seconds and you're good to go. They literally will knock you out with sugar levels skyrocketing haha so more of a now and again treat for our group. Literally eat ONE and pass out shortly after. I was curious to see the style of donut, they more like Krispy Kreme texture or Dunkies, i would say more like dunkies style. Good night, flakey, not too heavy or dense. (Unless you get old fashion style donut ofc). Pink boxes, branding, line queue and operations went smooth and quick. We stopped in shortly after 9pm. Check them out!

I have always heard about these doughnuts but never in a town where they were located til now. This was a great stop to the end of a day in the park. My husband ordered the Orangesicle and I had the Portland cream. They are large in size but worth every bit. We were at Epic park the next day and wish they had another location there. Dreaming of another Portland dream! Stop in, you won't regret it! Enjoy

I have been wanting to try it since it opened years ago and finally decided to! The decor inside and out is typical over the top fun theme park style with a rotating visual menu of the donuts while you wait in line...I went for the voodoo doll basically a glazed raspberry filled chocolate covered stabbed with a small pretzel..was fairly tasty but not spectacular so for the price I may try another time I'm visiting one but not in a hurry to return! The ambiance is very hip with lots of cool merch and the staff are all amazing. It's definitely worth a visit if you're at Citywalk or Universal Studios!

Voodoo Doughnut at Orlando CityWalk is not just a donut shop -- it's a whole experience. From the moment you walk in, your senses are under attack in the best way. Walls of donuts. So many choices. Chaos, but make it sweet. Now let me put y'all on to a little secret Unless a donut has actual meat sitting on top of it, the donuts are vegan. Yep. Vegan. And nobody announces it because for some strange reason, people hear "vegan" and immediately clutch their pearls and run the other direction. Relax. All it means is no animal products. The donuts are still indulgent, fluffy, and absolutely worth your calories. My all-time favorite? The classic glazed. Hands down. It tastes like a freshly made Krispy Kreme... but better. Softer. Warmer. Like it loves you back. And if you're a real donut lover, get the Texas Glaze. This thing is massive. Like, "the size of your head" massive. Okay--maybe a kid's head--but you get the point. It's huge. Definitely a shareable situation unless you're feeling bold (no judgment). I never walk out with just one or two donuts. I always get four... or more... because I'm already there, so why not? Full disclosure: when I discovered this place, I went back the very next weekend for more. No shame. Just facts. I'm gonna chill for a bit though -- my waistline has politely asked me to calm down. But best believe, I'll be back. If you love donuts, Voodoo is a must. Period.

I would say timing is important, as the line here can get rather long. They do have an online order option where you can pick up your donuts across from their store at a kiosk which is convenient. As for the donuts, there were many options from your typical donut flavors to more creative designs and flavors. I personally ate the blueberry cake donut, which was yummy. My youngest ordered the purple donut since it was "pretty" and she wasn't a fan of the donut hole. If calories matter to you, be aware that some donuts will take half or more of your daily intake of calories, but hey, they are donuts! Overall, the donuts were tasty, and I would get donuts from here again.

Rochy was such a huge help. Very friendly and helpful in picking out two donuts with me. They were out of some donuts but their selection is so big I'm not upset! Cool aesthetics and the decoration in here is awesome.

Voodoo Doughnut Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Voodoo Doughnut

Do you have to pay to park?

Yes, since it's also the entry point for the parks.

Do you have to park in the garage and walk in for the pick up of preorders?

You have to get to universal CityWalk. Either walk there, shuttle bus or drive and park at the garage with a parking fee

Do they contain lard or any animal meat in the donuts?

There are some donuts that have toppings that include animal meat (such as the Bacon Maple).

    Does Voodoo take universal giftcards?

Indeed they do! Don't forget to present your annual pass for a discount if you have one!

Do they deliver to Disney resorts?

This location is in the heart of CityWalk at Universal Orlando Resort. They do not offer delivery.

Do they still have the buttermilk bars?

    Yes

Why does it say here you close at 12? We just got there at 1110 to find out you close at 11 pm.😔

Some things happen. Get there earlier if you have a problem with their hours smh

Do you offer a variety of donuts that can be put together like a donut tower for a birthday party? Can you deliver to Endless Summer Surf Side Resort? My son is turning 18 while we are down there and want to have people gather for donuts to celebrate

Rhett don't deliver. Please ready before you ask something stupid

Does this location offer the vegan friendly donuts?

Yesss they do look out for the v with a circle around it that will let u know that donut comes in vegan!!!

Does this location have the famous cock-n-balls donut?

NO. Because this is a FAMILY establishment. Many of their adult themed donuts are not sold here.

Do I have to have a Universal studio Park ticket to get here or can anyone enter the shop?

After 6p.m., parking is free. I suggest going to city walk then. You don't want to pay for parking just to go to Voodoo.

    How much for one doughnut?

It ranges to around $1.50 for basic ones to around $3 for the more deluxe larger ones. They also have the Texas which is the size of 6 donuts for $10. They do also offer discounts to Annual Passholders.
