Our first boy "Christopher Hitchens" came to us from Ukraine in August of 2020, and due to unforeseen Covid travel restrictions, Alona literally had to drive, by herself, from Miami to Portland to get us our boy. That's customer service! He was healthy and immediately playful and loving as soon as he came out of the cat carrier. Christopher Hitchens has been the best cat and we love him so much, we decided to get another! "Steve" arrived to our local airport yesterday with a lovely travel nanny, Olga, and he too was perfect! So sweet and playful and affectionate. We took him to see our vet this morning and he got a clean bill of health. I do think that some of the mellower breeds like Maine Coons may handle the stress of traveling all that way a bit better than others, so you might want to take that into consideration when getting a cat from overseas. Anyway, our experience with Alona and Artem has been wonderful and we are very grateful to them for our (now 2!) amazing Maine Coon boys!

I have purchased two cats from happy paws. My first experience was great. I had a healthy cat…read more(bengal) and I loved that all the cats were able to socialize and hang out. The second time I went to purchase a cat, I noticed they were all in their own cages, and I asked if they are are always like that and they said they only let one out at a time for about 30 minutes. A few weeks ago, I bought my second bengal from here. They said she had a bad reaction to her vaccine so I couldn't pick her up because they needed to monitor her. That was on March 1st, I ended up picking her up 11 days later and she was still throwing up and having diarrhea so I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with FIP coronavirus and Giardia. I told them that she is still sick and I have Another cat at home. I took her to the vet because she was extremely sick and they told me that it was my fault and it could possibly be a toxic plant. I had at home even though I have a healthy cat at home And they admitted to me that she was not feeling well after her vaccines. It turns out it was not for reaction to her vaccines. It was Giardia FIP and coronavirus. I have been spending $3000 on a cat. I immediately got hit with a $1200 vet bill and a sick kitten that I had to nerve back to life. She was on medicine three times a day and she was extremely underweight. It was extremely stressful. I also found out that they put the kittens in cargo and shipped them from Ukraine, which I think is extremely unethical. Most animal foundations do not let their animals go into cargo cause it is extremely unsafe for them. I wish they would've just given me her from the beginning and I would've helped her get better soon sooner rather than letting her sit in a cage sick for weeks. They won't help with the vet bill. They're putting the blame on me. Even though I could tell something was up with seeing how all of the cats were separated all of a sudden And they admitted that she was not feeling well. They said she has a housemate at the time and I'm really hoping they took her to the vet. When I went to go meet her the first time they didn't let me pick her up because she was feeling unwell and they've had to wash diarrhea off of her. She's five months old and 4 pounds. The vet that "cleared" her didn't document her weight on her health certificate and did not mark her as underweight even though I called them and she was only 1.9 pounds. I'm not sure how they even were able to get her neutered When the requirement for neutering a kitten is 2 pounds. This place is extremely unethical and they will gaslight you saying that the sick kitten is your problem because they don't wanna pay for it and they need to be shut down immediately.

At Breeder Luis Gonzalez's location a puppy was found "lethargic and cold to the touch," another dog was underweight with his ribs and spine showing; the facility had over 500 dogs." I am beyond outraged by the inhumane and negligent treatment of these animals at Forever Love Puppies in Pembroke Park. We purchased two puppies: a 3-month-old Chihuahua and a 2-month-old Pomeranian. They came home sick. No family should ever experience the fear and financial burden of bringing home a puppy only to find out it is already ill. The so-called "complimentary" veterinary visit that this store "gifts" buyers to use is completely misleading. Our puppies were never examined by a veterinarian, yet we were assured by a staff assistant that they were "perfect" without any tests or physical examination. Side note on this fraud of a clinic: When I walked out of the examination room, there was a dead dog on the bench next to a lady in the waiting room. Such a level of unprofessionalism or disrespect is unbelievable. The attendant called someone to "come get the body". Didn't offer a room for the lady to grieve and choose the urn made her pay and choose in front of everyone with her dead dog on the bench behind her. Days later, our Chihuahua puppy ended up in the emergency room severely dehydrated with signs of Ataxia, a neurological symptom. The result? Over $1,200 in emergency veterinary bills and weeks of emotional distress, all of which could have been avoided with proper care and honest medical screening. We were told that a simple fecal test would have immediately detected Giardia. That basic test was never performed, even though the paperwork states otherwise. We took our boys to our private veterinarian, and both were diagnosed with Giardia. Even more disturbing is the breeder listed on our paperwork. A quick search reveals serious public concerns tied to this breeder. When we looked up the address ourselves using publicly available satellite imagery, the location appears to be a barn-like structure with no visible evidence of adequate shelter or proper housing facilities. At the time, temperatures were around 32 degrees. The thought of vulnerable puppies being housed and possibly transported in those conditions is horrifying. The fact that this store continues to source from breeders surrounded by red flags demonstrates either a shocking lack of due diligence or a complete disregard for animal welfare and consumer protection. There is also a publicly available news report involving the owner's son, Larry Master, which every potential buyer should watch before considering a purchase. Reports and documentation show that puppies are transported in freezing temperatures, with hundreds crammed into trucks and distributed to pet stores across the country. These are living, breathing animals, not merchandise, not inventory, not commodities. This entire experience was irresponsible, unethical, and deeply disturbing. If you care about animal welfare, please do your research. Seek out truly reputable, transparent breeders or consider adoption. No puppy deserves to suffer for the sake of profit, and no family deserves to bring home heartbreak instead of joy. https://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/lawsuits-forever-love-puppies-accused-of-selling-sick-dogs-11711531/

They display the puppies from mixed breeders which in turn creates contamination. Coccidiosis is a parasitic disease of the intestinal tract of animals caused by coccidian protozoa. The disease spreads from one animal to another by contact with infected feces or ingestion of infected tissue. Diarrhea, which may become bloody in severe cases, is the primary symptom. Most animals infected with coccidia are asymptomatic, but young or immunocompromised animals may suffer severe symptoms and death.

Beware of Pet DEALERS who: 1) DO NOT PUT BIRTHDATE of…read more"available" puppies. The con man who runs this "teacup/tiny" puppy scam out of his house had the so called FEMALE pom named "Fonzi" for sale every day for 4 MONTHS AFTER I was scammed! After paying the deposit -and asking for an updated pic/video - his reply is he "didn't have time and didn't want to hire a professional photographer. Would not consider sending even a picture from his cell phone. He would not even provide weight of Mother and Father of puppy. 2) BEWARE IF THE PUPPY YOU PICK UP LOOKS DIFFERENT THAN ONLINE PHOTO- REVIEW THOROUGHLY ALL PAPERWORK- and call to verify EVERYTHING regarding health. Do not let your excitement to adopt a puppy cause you to overlook red flags! JAMES the CON MAN owner- had no record of puppy parent weight- I needed a doggy whom I could carry everywhere- he lied about expected weight. He was so convincing, I did not suspect he would be SCAMMING ME. "Fonzi's" health certificate EXPIRED the day after I paid for her! On the drive home, she had diarrhea and coughed throughout the trip! Con man James only gave me kibble mixed with CHEERIOS for her saying he was "out of Little Ceasars. The next day was a Sunday so I had to go to an emergency vet cuz "Fonzi's" eyes were swollen and still coughing. She was diagnosed with an eye and respiratory infection and a heart murmur! 3) Beware of calling Con Man James if there is a problem. I was so heartbroken about "Fonzi's" many afflictions- I called him about a week later while constantly devoted to helping my FAKE "Fonzi" -and he made me feel it was my fault. He said to give honey to "Fonzi" for the cough...and that a heart murmur was "normal - and to go to another Vet and get a second opinion! I asked why "Fonzi" was still listed as "available" on his website..... he said "his wife just hadn't had time to indicate she was sold." 4 MONTHS LATER- "Fake Fonzi" was STILL available! ( apparently his wife is STILL " too busy" to update the website) Without listing a birthdate- obviously many "Fonzi's" have been "sold"......and James continued to falsely claim that "Fonzi" had been "discounted" by $1K...... for as I've monitored the website for FOUR MONTHS- "discounted Fonzi" is still $2500.... and no mention that this did NOT include nearly $200 in TAXES! 3) DO NOT GO ALONE TO ADOPT A PUPPY! Con man James preys on those who love dogs and want to believe the best. 4) DO NOT BELIEVE the "teacup/tiny" designation from this Con man. He gets away with this FALSE ADVERTISING to take advantage of those truly needing a tiny dog 5) I have cried over and over fighting with my "fake-Fonzi's" through medical battles- and burdened by the HUGE medical bills that resulted from being conned. I have been heartbroken thinking she would die. But con men like James know that those he scams will love their adopted dogs - and cannot fight him because of emotional attachments. But any so called "Dog Boutique" owner who feeds puppies CHEERIOS and bullies a customer into believing it's " okay"..... is to be questioned about EVERYTHING. I wanted to just "get on with" life doing my best to love and care for my "fake Fonzi".... yet when seeing on Dog Boutique website 4 MONTHS AFTER I ADOPTED my "Fonzi".... that "Fake Fonzi" is still FOR SALE as a "teacup/tiny" puppy for "discounted" price of $2500- with EXACT SAME DESCRIPTION and photos and videos........ I had to write this review to expose this predator- and encourage dog lovers to NOT BELIEVE DOG SELLING WEBSITES NO MATTER HOW "AUTHENTIC and PROFESSIONAL" they seem. I WISH I HAD READ REVIEWS AND RESEARCHED - yet hope my experience can help other dog lovers not to be conned- and puppies who need special care will be adopted by those best able to do so!
