After paying the deposit -and asking for an updated pic/video - his reply is he "didn't have time and didn't want to hire a professional photographer. Would not consider sending even a picture from his cell phone. He would not even provide weight of Mother and Father of puppy. 2) BEWARE IF THE PUPPY YOU PICK UP LOOKS DIFFERENT THAN ONLINE PHOTO- REVIEW THOROUGHLY ALL PAPERWORK- and call to verify EVERYTHING regarding health. Do not let your excitement to adopt a puppy cause you to overlook red flags! JAMES the CON MAN owner- had no record of puppy parent weight- I needed a doggy whom I could carry everywhere- he lied about expected weight. He was so convincing, I did not suspect he would be SCAMMING ME. "Fonzi's" health certificate EXPIRED the day after I paid for her! On the drive home, she had diarrhea and coughed throughout the trip! Con man James only gave me kibble mixed with CHEERIOS for her saying he was "out of Little Ceasars. The next day was a Sunday so I had to go to an emergency vet cuz "Fonzi's" eyes were swollen and still coughing. She was diagnosed with an eye and respiratory infection and a heart murmur! 3) Beware of calling Con Man James if there is a problem. He said to give honey to "Fonzi" for the cough...and that a heart murmur was "normal - and to go to another Vet and get a second opinion! I asked why "Fonzi" was still listed as "available" on his website..... he said "his wife just hadn't had time to indicate she was sold." 4 MONTHS LATER- "Fake Fonzi" was STILL available! ( apparently his wife is STILL " too busy" to update the website) Without listing a birthdate- obviously many "Fonzi's" have been "sold"......and James continued to falsely claim that "Fonzi" had been "discounted" by $1K...... for as I've monitored the website for FOUR MONTHS- "discounted Fonzi" is still $2500.... and no mention that this did NOT include nearly $200 in TAXES! 3) DO NOT GO ALONE TO ADOPT A PUPPY! Con man James preys on those who love dogs and want to believe the best. 4) DO NOT BELIEVE the "teacup/tiny" designation from this Con man. He gets away with this FALSE ADVERTISING to take advantage of those truly needing a tiny dog 5) I have cried over and over fighting with my "fake-Fonzi's" through medical battles- and burdened by the HUGE medical bills that resulted from being conned. Terrible Experience - Do Not Bring Your Pets Here…read more I called VCA Knowles Central Animal Hospital because my dog was panting heavily and clearly in pain. They assured me they would take me right away. I arrived around 6:50 PM and waited about 10 minutes before being taken into a room. That's when I was told that this location is no longer a full hospital but an urgent care center that closes at 8 PM. They emphasized that they could still handle "all hospital services" as long as patients were seen before 8. I was left waiting in the exam room from 7:00 until 8:30 before the doctor finally came in. After a brief exam, she said my dog needed an X-ray--only to then admit their X-ray services were already closed. I was charged $120 for essentially nothing. The doctor promised medicine, but after another 20-minute wait, staff returned to say they had no medication on site and would instead call in a prescription to the CVS nearby. When I got to CVS, I discovered the prescription had been written incorrectly--in milliliters instead of milligrams--and the pharmacist could not fill it. CVS even tried calling the doctor, but no one answered. After over two hours, a wasted $120, and a sick dog who received zero actual care, I left frustrated and angry. This facility misrepresented what they could provide, wasted precious time, and showed a lack of professionalism and competence. My pet got absolutely no help. Avoid this place at all costs.
