No response or acknowledgement was received. During the visit, the technician was defensive and dismissive when discussing possible causes. Despite the fact that the dog had recently been prescribed amoxicillin as a prophylactic measure following her spay at Park Place (due to a torn glove during the procedure), the tech suggested, without evidence, that the symptoms were likely due to stress or that the dog "got into something." That is conjecture, and it does not align with well-documented antibiotic-associated colitis. Amoxicillin is a known precipitating factor for exactly these symptoms. Equally concerning, no probiotic support was prescribed or even discussed, despite clear signs of gut disruption. At this point, it is evident that her gastrointestinal system requires active rebuilding, not dismissal. In addition to the clinical concerns, my son was treated rudely by the front desk staff while checking out, which compounded an already stressful situation. I told them I expected this feedback to be taken seriously. Naturally, I got no response. And of course, no follow-up to see how the dog is doing. We have since seen another vet who is helping her to recover through treatment. Given our experience with a serious lack of care, I do not recommend this practice.

We did everything we knew to do to change this behavior. We thought we had it under control and then one day while I was in the restroom, he snapped at her. We decided to give it one more try, sought advice from our vet and changed a few more things. A week later, my husband was playing with him in the back yard and the dog bit his thigh, ripped his pants and almost pulled him to the ground. We decided then it was no longer safe to keep the dog and did what we were supposed to do according to our adoption agreement... we called the rescue to surrender him. They told us that they were looking for a foster and after 10 days, my husband reached back out and told them they needed to pick him up asap. After receiving that email, this is what was posted about us and our dog. I was appalled at the fact that they would slander us in this way. Not only that, they never mention anything about him not being left alone with children. As far as us moving, this was known prior to the adoption. He was coming with us and they knew it. For them to turn that into a lie is disgusting. We truly loved our dog and took very good care of him, trying to give him the best life we could. If you adopt from this organization and find yourself with aggressive behavior, be sure to document all of it with videos and text messages. I only wish we would have.

I went to sign in and I talk to a vet assistant. I told her I wanted to get some drontal pills for my dog. When I was in California I never had problem to get drontal tablet from the local clinic at Petfoodexpress. She told me she couldn't sell me the tablets without to see the dog first... I know what my dog needs and I don't need to have someone telling me she wants to see my dog first. Come on it is only a dewormer tablet !!! The assistant didn't even knew the drontal brand. Drontal is one of the most well known dewormer brand you can get. It is just to give the level of knowledge and competence this assistant had. I remind you this is the person advising you on what you should get for your dog :-( Well I don't think it is safe to go and visit this clinic. The person who advise you is not capable at all. Also when I walked to the clinic I noticed the that lady who gave the vaccination was not good giving the shots. The dogs I saw were in pain and were crying. My dog never cried when I went to Petfoodexpress clinic. In conclusion I would not recommend this clinic to any dog/cat owner. I'm against the Vet lobby "we need to see your pet before giving you a treatment". Most of the dog owners are very knowledgeable about their dogs. For basic treatment like fleas, heartworms and dewormers, you know what your dog needs.
