Before, during, and after his treatment plan with Dr. Beaumont. Healthy and happy!
Caroline C.

We are very thankful for Dr. Beaumont healing our dog's eye! Our dog had persistent eye irritation for several months- redness, discharge, cloudiness, and squinting. After 2 visits with our regular vet and 2 types of medications, no progress had been made and we decided it was time to visit an Opthalmologist. Dr. Beaumont and her team were very detailed upon examining his eye and suggested a reasonable treatment plan to get him back on track. Luckily, no surgery was required or recommended and our pup is back to being healthy and happy! Their office is new, nice, and comfortable. All of the staff we have interacted with have been extremely kind and helpful. We definitely recommend Animal Eye Specialists!

After a misdiagnosis from a pet hospital..I researched and found this awesome and brilliant compassionate eye specialist for my dear senior dog, who was miserable with a corneal ulcer. Dr. Stephanie knew immediately my fur baby had a severe eye issue and acted quickly to relieve her pain and schedule her surgery-which was a huge success. This office staff is personable, caring, professional, good listeners, and value each and every patient. I recommend her above any other eye vet out there... ONLY the best when it comes to your pet's vision. We got Dr. Stephanie and are so grateful!

Awhile back, I called this office to see if they could get us in sooner than our regular ophthalmologist (they couldn't) and they told me that I could only get an appointment if I paid around $300 and subjected my dog to a standard blanket of tests, because according to them, every animal they see undergoes these tests and all ophthalmologists require them (not true, just call around and ask). Our dog had an ulcer in her eye, and I didn't think shoving strips of paper under her eyelids to check tear production was a good idea, nor was checking her eye pressure a priority at the time. I gave them a poor review based on this interaction. Yesterday, our vet called in sick and we saw a new vet for a different eye issue (one that those tests would have actually been beneficial in evaluating) and he referred us to this office. Their phone number wouldn't go through, so I emailed them asking for an appointment. I got a response, which I screenshotted and attached, basically stating that they refused to see us because I gave them a bad review. Apparently, you can't go to this office unless you blindly consent to forcing your dog to undergo scary, uncomfortable tests (even when unnecessary and/or potentially harmful) and then have the audacity to leave a less than stellar review. It seems to me that if they get butthurt over a review, they'll refuse to see you and leave your dog to suffer as punishment for not bending to their will and for warning other potential pet owners about their office. Not exactly someone I want taking care of my pets, so I'll consider that as a bullet dodged. Make sure you do some research before committing to this office, which seems to be more concerned with their ego than with a dog that needs their help. Free advice from someone who's worked in the medical field for over 15 years: Be very, very weary of a medical provider who doesn't tolerate you asking questions and interprets it as "questioning the way they practice medicine." *For those wondering, we are already scheduled with our regular ophthalmologist that we've used for years for our other two dogs.*

This was one week post surgery! His incision looked great and the swelling had gone down!

Words cannot begin to describe how grateful I am. After a horrible experience with our vet at Banfield, we found ourselves having to look for a specialist. I was given a list of 5 Ophthalmology clinics and was calling around to see the soonest I could get Chance in. After calling all 5 to get a feel for the clinics, we chose Animal Eye Specialist! Whoever I talked to that day was the sweetest and was the main reason why I picked Animal Eye Specialist over the other 4 places. Dr. Beaumont was a godsend. She is compassionate and comforting. When I first learned of Chance's diagnosis it was difficult for me and she gave me all of my options and her priority was to get Chance better. She was calm and understanding and I knew Chance was going to be in good hands. After Chance's surgery he started getting some pep back in his step and his incision looked amazing! It has been 2 weeks post surgery and Chance looks great and we got our stitches out today! If your baby is needing surgery Dr. BEAUMONT IS THE BEST. Michelle is such a sweetheart and I love her upbeat energy. She helped answer my questions and is always gentle and loving with Chance. You have so much patience, especially the first day when I was hysterical. You comforted me and your positivity was something I desperately needed. Quinn or Guinn, (I should know this... I am sorry!) You are so sweet and noticed I was commuting for Dallas. She looked up my address to see how far I would be from the Dallas location since they would be there around the time Chance would need his follow up! She is always smiling and I was shocked someone would take the time to do that. I don't know the names of some of the other front office people, but they always greet with a huge smile and ask about your baby. The offices are clean and I would not go anywhere else. If your baby is needing an eye specialist this is the place to go!!!!

"Thank you, Dr. Beaumont! You are my hero!"

I finally found Lil Lucy's perfect primary care clinic, about 2 years ago. I definitely travel a ways to get to Plano, however I wouldn't take my baby duck (she's a papillon/chihuahua/baby duck mix) to anyone else. Personally, I've had lifelong invisible complex illnesses since I was a baby, and I've been gaslit and literally destroyed by arrogant Dr's who "know everything" and shut me up before words attempt to exit my (or my mothers' back then) mouth. Finding a truly intelligent Dr. with dignity and mutual respect, who listens just as much as they share what they've learned with a client, is not only like winning the lottery, it's an absolutely priceless experience that we can't live without. Dr. John Fuller happens to be a graduate of CSU, which is where we took Lucy to an otologist to further investigate her chronic ear issues. CSU was amazing so perhaps this is where the best vets come from. It was this clinic that finally lead us to figuring out what was hurting her, after maybe only $50,000 was spent running around from clinic to clinic getting nowhere new. Hard to believe but trouble shooting with incompetent dr's really adds up fast while taking nearly a lifetime. Dr. Dena Jones is equally amazing, and they're a perfect team running this clinic. They're also very fair with pricing, which is kind of them however I'd personally be willing to pay more for this level of care. They don't rush us, they're extremely humble with their expertise, open to learning more, making them rise above the rest with their wisdom and successful outcomes. From the pickiest,
