What an incredibly pleasant surprise on my way home from Loup Loup. I loved the food, LOVED the thrifted merch, loved the coffee, the vibes were fantastic. The servers were efficient, friendly, helpful and not over the top. They had comfy furniture, toys for the kiddies, and real dishes. I hope I will find more opportunities to be in Grand Coulee in the morning. If you are in town needing food and coffee, get your buns up there! read more

We visited Voltage Coffee House during our stay in Grand Coulee and were surprised we hadn't discovered it sooner. We've been coming here for four years to visit family and never realized this place existed. After growing frustrated with the other coffee shop on the main drag, we searched for nearby options and were relieved to find this one open. Overall, Voltage Coffee House was a much better experience. You could actually taste the coffee in the drinks, which was a nice change. The gal who took our order was friendly and greeted us with a smile, which added a welcoming touch. The two baristas preparing the drinks seemed a bit disoriented and unsure with some of the orders, so I was pleasantly surprised when the drinks came out just right. The ambiance of the café felt a little scattered--it didn't seem like there was a consistent theme--but the space definitely has good bones and the potential to be something special. One small thing I appreciated was that they don't put the lids or straws on your drinks for you. It's a simple but thoughtful touch that I personally prefer. We'll definitely be back. read more

The drip coffee I got was fine, although it could have been a little hotter. The peanut butter cookie was amazing though! I also got a slice of quiche and it was only so-so, I wouldn't get that again. Partly that was my own fault as I chose not to have it heated. The service was fine. Voltage Coffee is a great place to energize when making your way through the water filled desert of Grand Coulee, WA. The area surrounding Grand Coulee is parched for water, with hills, bluffs, and plains covered with dry yellow grass. Yet, the Grand Coulee dam, holding back the Columbia River has created a massive lake, that appeared to be underutilized for recreation. I think I only saw one boat on the lake at the time we drove through. The town of Grand Coulee didn't seem to have many tourist dollars running through it, but Voltage Coffee was making its claim as the best coffee in town. Sometimes you want to stop for coffee at a walk-in storefront, instead of sitting in your car waiting for the closet sized expresso shops to churn out lattes. Voltage has nice seating areas indoors and out. We relaxed outside and took in views of the town. As we were sipping our coffee, a deer walked down the alley, stared at us for a moment, then continued moving on. There appeared to be so little activity in town at that time of day that the deer felt comfortable taking the shortest route to the lake for a drink. Or maybe that deer knew of a local vegetable garden in the area that wasn't adequately fenced in. If we ever drive through Grand Coulee again in the future, we will return to Voltage. read more

This was our go-to spot every morning on our short vacation in Coulee Dam. The coffee was right, and the maple pecan scone was delicious.

In town to fish at Banks and needed my morning Americano. This place is clean, current, and the coffee and service were excellent.

Super cute coffee shop with pastries, art, and random items like gifts, chocolate, and seeds for planting. We came for the cinnamon roll after reading Yelp reviews but spotted the strawberry rhubarb scone so had to get one of those too. The cinnamon roll was ok but the scone was amazing (and my spouse and I aren't usually that into scones. read more

Just had breakfast at this adorable coffee house. The quiche tasted great and there were 4 kinds to choose from. They also had breakfast sandwiches that looked awesome too. The baked goods were nummy as I had a GF granola bar that was sooooo good! I wished I lived here so I could come every day! Coffee was great too! I found them online but a sandwich board pointing up the hill from the main road would help drive traffic up the hill (to other businesses too)! read more

I went here for coffee this morning and a place to work while my hubby slept in. I almost fainted when I was told that my cup of coffee (in a real mug for "here") was $1! Maybe I'm just jaded after living in larger cities/towns, but it was nice to have a GOOD cup of coffee for a more-than-reasonable price. I spent over an hour in Voltage and the smells coming out of the kitchen were to die for. I wasn't necessarily going to buy a pastry, but I pretty much had to after smelling them being baked for so long. Another customer came in with her 2 year old son and I discovered that there are toys in baskets for the younger customers as well. I don't know why the first person to review this place had such a negative experience (could be that they were brand new and in the middle of Colorama???), but all I experienced were friendly people, an inviting atmosphere, and good coffee and pastries. read more

Great place to get a great coffee drink and a pastry or small meal. I love their scones. Usually, several flavors to choose from. Cinnamon rolls and cookies are great too. Soups and salads are good. A relaxing atmosphere for enjoying your drink and food or easy to get and go. Employees and owner are very pleasant and efficient. read more

We actually had the honor of making the first purchase at the grand opening today! It is a great atmosphere and the coffee was good. This is an adorable coffee shop, with amazing coffee, great seating, super strong WiFi, kid-friendly, and a perfect oasis in the area to be able to relax, get caught up on work and emails! My husband and I needed to worked today and are staying in a nearby location with little to no cell coverage, let alone WiFi! This place has been a perfect spot! We also felt incredible comfortable with their precautions and how they are handling their COVID protocol! Everyone was wearing a mask until seated, seating had ample distance, everything was clean and disinfected. We will totally be back again while we are in the area! read more

Stopped in this morning for some breakfast sandwiches while camping. Cute place but I was very disappointed in the 2 sausage and 1 bacon breakfast sandwiches that we purchased. Very dry, cheese wasn't melted and the sausage tasted like it could have been reheated a few times. On a good note, the coffee was excellent. This is why I unfortunately could only give you a 3 star. I was in Grand Coulee about a month ago as part of a camping trip to Banks Lake. One morning I left the lake looking for some breakfast and internet service. That's not easy to find in this area! Finding the Voltage Coffee House later that morning was a god send. Its tucked back on a side street so finding it was not easy. I spent 3 or 4 hours here working and enjoying their food. I had both breakfast and lunch. The cinnamon rolls, fruit cups, quiche, and panini sandwiches were all incredible. Customer service was top notch. The staff was super friendly and hospitable. The owner has also decked this place out with friendly and interesting decor. If you are in Grand Coulee, you need to stop here! read more

Love this place. Open, friendly, free wi-fi! Great coffee and fresh, homemade foods. Have sat for hours doing online work or just reading and feel this is MY place. I hear the whole building was a wreck when the owner bought it. She did a terrific job of decorating. Eclectic, but simple. I wasn't asking for something free, it just should have been offered at the time to try to diffuse the situation. I have worked with the public for many years. Before we moved, I worked around here, at Rapid Roberts, Siam, The Melody restaurant. Once we moved over to the Seattle area I worked for nearly 25 years for Fred Meyer. I know a thing or two about customer service and I am very good at it! I might be interested in teaching you and your staff the basics of it, as from what I have seen you don't know the basics. If you want your business to succeed, you should hire someone to come in and train you and your team. I have found another place to get my coffee, right outside of Elmer City heading to Nespelem, its Shaw's fruit stand (or something like that) I highly recommend it.
