After growing frustrated with the other coffee shop on the main drag, we searched for nearby options and were relieved to find this one open. Overall, Voltage Coffee House was a much better experience. You could actually taste the coffee in the drinks, which was a nice change. The gal who took our order was friendly and greeted us with a smile, which added a welcoming touch. The two baristas preparing the drinks seemed a bit disoriented and unsure with some of the orders, so I was pleasantly surprised when the drinks came out just right. The ambiance of the café felt a little scattered--it didn't seem like there was a consistent theme--but the space definitely has good bones and the potential to be something special. One small thing I appreciated was that they don't put the lids or straws on your drinks for you. It's a simple but thoughtful touch that I personally prefer. We'll definitely be back.

Their coffee is also great! I had an iced latte one morning and a hot latte the next morning. Both were great. The workers inside were super friendly and welcoming. It's clearly popular with locals, as there were lines inside and at the drive thru. But service was very fast! The vibes inside were nice and cozy. Right off the highway so it's an easy stop, and it's attached to a gas station making it very convenient. I will definitely come back here next time I'm in the Coulee City area.

I don't go out of my usual order of white chocolate mocha but I do know that the owner Lori buys good coffee and good flavorings for her coffee, unlike some places where they use cheap syrups and cheap coffee. She also makes homemade whip cream and has a wide variety of flavor. I've lived here for a long time and also know that the owner is a hard working woman and takes pride in her place!
