I find that my workouts with Lucie are motivating and encouraging for me to continue to strive towards my health and weightloss goals as she takes my workouts to the next level. Lucie has an vast library of exercises, always changing things up while working targeted muscle groups. In addition to all that, she is a super nice person. I find every minute spend under her guidance inspires me to work harder and remain committed to living a healthy active lifestyle. Margo has an elaborate background in fitness and training. She has worked as an aerobics instructor…read moreand a personal trainer at several area gyms. She now works out of her home doing one-on-one instruction in a quiet, non-judgemental space. First She takes the time to learn what your goals are and what you can do. Then she will set up a routine that will help you acheive that goal. It doesn't matter if you are 100 years old, 400 pounds and in need of more exercise in your life or a little bitty thing that wants new ideas for flexibility and relaxation. Margo will find a plan for you. Second She will help you and she will make you feel like you are the greatest person on earth. Did I happen to mention that she's wonderful for your self-esteem? She is a lot of fun. She gives you permission to laugh or cry depending on your mood. She will integrate and work exercise and stretching into your day. Third You will hear her voice when you aren't with her. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Her voice isn't creepy. She reminds you continuously to breathe, to stretch, to adjust your posture in little ways that makes a big difference (to your workout and your life). And you will catch yourself doing it and hearing her gentle reminders. And no, this doesn't mean she's all peaceful and new-age-like with crystals and crap. She's just a good person, with great skills, and she's willing to share them so you can integrate them into your life long after you stop seeing her. Fouth You would think for all this Margo Rose would be expensive. She's not. She's comparable to other trainers, with all the above benefits. I would recommend her to my co-worker in her 20's who is in great shape as well as to my grandmother who is wheelchair bound. She really is good with working around injuries and weaknesses. She promotes health and happiness inside and outside.

Like other reviewers have stated, she tailors work outs to the individual, their lifestyle, their body and it's limitations, etc. She asks questions about what works and what doesn't and observes her clients carefully to provide apt feedback and to change up programs appropriately. Furthermore, she is very accommodating to those of us who have insane schedules and need to reschedule, postpone, move around stuff at the last minute. I've worked with other trainers before, but Margo is head and shoulders above them all!

I have worked with trainers at high-level tennis academies and in collegiate athletics, and I can…read moresay without hesitation that Luca is the best trainer I have ever worked with. What sets Luca apart is not simply technical knowledge, but an extraordinary ability to translate movement into feeling. Luca's explanations, demonstrations, and carefully chosen cues allow me to make meaningful connections in my own body. I have struggled for years with tight hips, limited mobility, and a fractured back that often made movement painful and uncertain. Luca recognized immediately that so much of that tension originated in my hips and lower body, and with remarkable patience we have devoted ourselves to strengthening those areas. The results have been nothing short of transformative. I am now squatting and deadlifting--movements I once associated only with pain and the fear of further injury. Even more importantly, I carry Luca's cues with me every time I train on my own. This experience has changed not just how I exercise, but how I inhabit my body. In a world that constantly alienates us from ourselves--through screens, endless sitting, work, comparison, and the pressure to look a certain way--Luca offers the opportunity to reconnect with your body from the inside out. There are no mirrors in the gym because the goal is not performance for an audience or chasing an image. The focus is on sensation, awareness, and discovering what your body is capable of feeling. Every session leaves me more alive, more grounded, and more grateful to be embodied. I never leave exhausted in the way I once thought a "good workout" required; I leave energized, confident, and deeply connected to myself. Luca approaches every client with exceptional care and attention, meeting each person where they are and helping them build strength not as an end in itself, but as a way of expanding freedom, resilience, and joy in everyday life. That is a remarkable gift, and I cannot recommend Luca highly enough.

Blare took so much care in understanding my situation, asking plenty of questions and reflecting back what she heard from me. This made me feel that we were on the same page. In our actual training sessions, Blare walked me through each exercise, correcting and affirming me along the way. She helped me feel comfortable doing her workouts on my own, since part of my goals included having a workout routine I could do weekly. After a few months, it was very noticeable that my body'd 'evened out' in terms of strength! I no longer had a hip drift in my squat which was how I first noticed my body was unbalanced in terms of strength. Blare is truly an expert in her field which completely matches my experience with all other trainers and instructors at Radically Fit. There is so much wisdom had among the trainers here and I can't recommend this gym enough.

I have a confession to make. I egregiously violate a stereotype of my ethnicity. Dancing is not…read moreamong my natural talents. During my first dance class in my senior year of college I did 16 hours of extra credit, including mopping behind the good dancers, to get a B-. Yes, a B-. That did not look good on graduate school applications. I was not good at standing. That is not a typo. When I stood up with my weight toward my larger toes I fell on my face. Although I admired, and enjoyed dancing I could never do it or aerobics or any choreography set to music. Then, in 2008, I met Eduardo! I had heard of Zumba. I even had a Zumba video. Actually, I had two of them and couldn't follow them. I took Eduardo's class and I could follow it. It took practice but I could do it. Why could I do it? 1. Eduardo explains what you will be doing with each song 2. Then, he demonstrates after the description 3. Instead of just standing at the front of the class he makes it ALL the way around the classroom, studio or gym (yes, I said gym the man can cover an entire basketball court) to help, you praise you, or have fun with you. Oh, and make no mistake, if you don't do it right the first time he will invite you to do it over. 4. He phases routines in and out slowly. Sometimes, he brings older songs back. 5. Regardless of your fitness level, you leave his class with a good, thorough workout and cool down as well as basic instruction on what to eat to recover. He works you hard and you see results. You will enjoy getting those results. You will want to follow Eduardo wherever he goes for fitness instruction.

You probably thought you couldn't go anymore because the classes are now inside a private club or you would have to join it. WRONG! Guys and gals--you can still come to class and get a punch card like you used at Just Dance Ballroom, and you do NOT have to be a member of the club. So if you've been thinking of doing a fun, challenging (more challenging than regular zumba), latin-based, cardio dance class, please do not let the huge scary stop sign at the entrance stop you. Just go straight up the stairs to the right to the dance room. And do not be intimidated by the choreography, especially your first time. If you get a few basic repeated moves down, you will be able to sweat your little heart out and get a good workout after a few sessions--which is the whole point. I can do my 5 mile run once a week, but this is still the most productive hour in my week. I cross two tunnels each time to get here, and it's more than worth it. Eduardo is still after all these years, the best zumba around the bay.
