Amazing work... Love the work Ben installed my new chandelier great work highly recommended

I hired Volt Tech this week to do a transfer switch installation in my home. Austin was assigned the job and he showed up early! He was polite, friendly, and most importantly; knowledgeable. He did a nice, clean installation and did it exactly how we discussed. He did encounter a problem when testing the setup when a breaker kept blowing out. After checking his work and comparing it to the wiring diagram for the transfer switch 3 times, which took an extra 1-2 hours, he determined it was not his work. We discussed that the transfer switch may be defective, which was very disappointing, as they are not easy to get these days. Austin decided to check one more thing and examined the factory installed wiring for the switch itself and found the problem. The manufacturer had wired the switch exactly opposite of what it should have been based on the manufacturers diagram. He corrected the poor wiring job and tested the system again and it worked! I can't say enough good things about Austin and Volt Tech. Because Austin took that extra step, I did not have to go through the nightmare of having to get the manufacturer and/or vendor to ship me another transfer switch, which again, is nearly impossible these days because these things are like trying to find a Unicorn. That was some pretty awesome customer service! I am working with the vendor to address the issue Austin identified. We will see how they handle this. read more

Ben did a great job on a new fan installation in our extra bedroom. No attic space to get to the location so he had to cut, drill and fish the route to get AC to the fan location. I needed some electrical work because my fridge and microwave kept popping their breakers. Talked to Ben the owner and he set up an appointment the next day. David and Manny showed up onetime at 9am and worked great together as a team. It took them 2 hours but they did a lot and had to separate several outlets in order to not overload the kitchen outlets. The overall job was great , they were very polite and knowledgeable and worked in a very professional manner. David even cleaned up the stains on the floor under the refrigerator with soap and water. I recently moved and my new place had some much needed electrical repairs. Ben came out and was very thorough. He gave me a quote and explained everything in detail. We had scheduled the day for repairs and I had to cancel at the last minute. He was very professional and re-scheduled. The day arrived and he was on time and got started right away. He finished all the repairs in the time frame he had quoted. He even patched up some holes on the exterior of my home! Once he was finished he walked me through every room in the house and explained what he did. Although the final price was slightly higher than my quote due to additional parts and labor, I was very satisfied with the service and so relieved that all the electrical issues were resolved. He even made some recommendations for lighting in my garage and kitchen and where to purchase the items. A few days after the repairs were done, my garage opener stopped working. Ben and his crew are excellent! I am very pleased with their services. They are very professional. I have used their services on two of my houses. I hired them to troubleshoot why an entire wall did not have electricity. They found the problem and corrected it within a timely manner. Even at our new house, they installed separate outlets in our garage for our refrigerator and our security system. I called for an appointment and they came out the same day and completed all of the work. We had an inspection report and they meticulously went through my list to make the necessary repairs. They even called for additional electricians to complete the job in a timely manner. Austin and Ben were awesome and worked well as a team. They went through the entire house to make sure all outlets were working. They installed lights, fans and outlets and wiring for our flatscreen tv's. I feel that their prices are reasonable considering they are licensed electricians. I don't think electrical work is a job to cut corners. I want someone I can trust to do a good job. I am willing to pay for quality to get it right the first time. Volt Tech is the company that delivers, in my opinion. Our house was really botched up with handyman work from the prior owner. I was referred to Ben by his brother in law. I called him on a Thursday and he was at my house the next day early to give a quote. Ben was on time and fair. He said they could a start ASAP which concerned me at first as I am accustomed to quality contractors being booked up and havinng to wait. I however, took the chance and hired him. He sent out two of his technicians within the hour David and Manny. I explained the job again briefly and they informed me that they might have to cc'ing into the walls (I expected as much) but that they didn't do drywall so that would bE a separate contractor. This was concerning as well David ensures he would make the holes a minimal as possible. They did not disappoint! They were clean, fast, and professional!! Excellent Service!!! Contacted Ben and he provided a solid price to install 3 ceiling fans. They were on-time and work very fast and efficiently. He explained the work in each room and asked if I had any questions. In addition, they had to come out a 2nd time because all the fans were made by the same manufacturer and need to be on different channels to control speeds on the fan.
