No place to sit down and even the table, that at one time you could probably place your slice on, was broken and leaning down. I guess the owner just doesn't care to fix it. I had to wait 15 minutes for them to heat up the two slices, not sure why. Just as I took my first bite of a slice, a saucy cheese chunk flipped off and onto my white t-shirt, not a good start. They put such a small amount of cheese on top, it peels off easily--not good. They did put a good amount of pepperoni and the crust was nice and chewy. If they would fix the cheese issue, it would be a much better pizza.

I have been coming to the Welland area for the last 2-3 years; this is the first time I have tried Cheers; and have to say - this place is AWESOME. GREAT food; GREAT atmosphere; and GREAT service. 1) I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki and I was not disappointed. Having grew-up in that part of the world, it was truly authentic Greek with the rich favours of Greece. The portion was LARGE; very filling for a big eater like myself and was truly tasty till the last bite. It came with 3 skewers of chicken, plus roasted potatoes, a Greek salad, and Greek bread. 2) I sat in the front part of the restaurant (which is set-up like a bar area); it was very cozy and personal, and the music was right up my alley. Add to that the lady who was the server was very personable and pleasant all the way (very easy to talk to). A few minutes later the owner and his wife came and joined in and I had a very pleasant and personable conversation with all three of them; I felt like I was "welcomed at the home of a family" to the point that almost 2 hours passed by just like a breeze. 3) Add to all of the above, the price was VERY reasonable considering the large food portion. Having discovered this place after all these times I've been to Welland, I am DEFINITELY going to go back again and very soon. Cheers to Cheers. And as they say in Greece... Yia mas to Cheers and to its owner. GREAT job.

Told another walk-in to leave when the old man did nothing to deserve it. All the old man did when he first came in was put his hands over his ears because it was too loud, I agreed. My chums and I couldn't hold a conversation. What did the so-called singer do? Crank his amplifiers up to 11? We had to resort to writing notes because we couldn't hear each other. Guess that falls under rudeness, then before he left, knocked two drinks at the rude waitress. I don't blame him. Had a laugh, and I will not testify on the restaurant's behalf.

This city has a long-standing tradition of great pizza, and while not all the newer spots measure up, Rose City stands alongside the legends of old. They consistently put out a solid product, and it's always a pleasure stopping in. They're especially popular for slices, along with their party tray and wing combos, making them a go-to for gatherings and game nights. They also make a great steak sub. Overall, one of the standout pizza spots in Welland that continues the city's strong pizza tradition. Saluti.

Such a nice sight to see for a small, north end "watering hole" The smell from their smoker made it impossible to not get wings, and let me tell you, they are THE BEST! Full of flavour, crisp outside but juicy and meaty wings. Not little tiny wings fried to nothing. We shared the Nacho Rancheros, a Turkey Bacon Club with the sweet potato fries and The Romby's Burger with fries. This burger was MASSIVE and AMAZING! Definately not a frozen burger patty..this was the real deal!! Also , we were SO pleased to see REAL TURKEY ( we found out that they smoke their chicken wings, turkey, pork, brisket and BACON in house) As the bar filled up for the live music that night, the server still made sure we were tended to and upon settling our bill, we were happy to agree that we had a FABULOUS time. We will definately be back!

Pretty easy to find, you can't miss the rustic looking exterior with the blind pig in huge letters on top. There's a decent amount of parking, but I'll bet when this place gets busy it's tougher to find a spot. When you walk inside, the interior is very well kept and has a rustic bar-like feel to it, plenty of bar and high top seating as well as booths. I decided to order an iced tea. Something I've noticed about Canada, iced tea is usually a sweetened drink. Not like iced tea you get in the states. So just be aware of that if you're looking to get some iced tea. Regardless, it was very tasty and hit the spot perfectly. One thing I like about this place is they have a bunch of different specials throughout the week, the day I went the special was the brisket sandwich and side salad for $13.99 Canadian. I upgraded to the Caesar salad, and also ordered a side of KFC, or Korean fried Chicken for those of you in the know. Let me tell you something about that. KFC, absolutely delicious! How can you go wrong with fried chicken thighs with Korean BBQ sauce? You can't, that's what I'm telling you! The brisket sandwich was really really good, albeit just a tad dry. But I'm not deducting any points for that. It was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Service was great, friendly staff, and everything came out as expected. Bottom line? I will definitely be back for that brisket sandwich. They also had some other specials so I guess I'm going to need to spend an entire week here and just eat my life away at the blind pig.
