When we asked to confirm, it was pretty disappointing. She was understandably upset, especially since she's been pescatarian for over 10 years. It would've gone a long way if they at least took it off the bill, but they didn't, and that definitely hurt the overall experience. For mains, I ordered JJ's Meatloaf; really solid dish. The mashed potatoes were a highlight, veggies were cooked nicely, and everything had great flavour. Only downside was the bun that came with it got pretty soggy. My wife ordered the Grilled Fish Panini; she liked it, not amazing, but good. The fish was fresh and flaky, and the bread had a nice garlic bread vibe. Overall, it's a decent spot with good food and a nice setting, but the beer prices and the issue with the unlisted bacon definitely took away from the experience. Minor Fisheries is a retail outlet that get their supply from the local fisheries. Minor has walleye, perch, whitefish. They even have smoked whitefish and walleye cheeks. Their fish fry is excellent...I had a 3 piece walleye, w vinegar slaw, and fresh cut fries (dinner roll included). All excellent. The walleye is like a panko-esque crust..very delicate flaky white fish. Everything was excellent and for a whopping 16 dollars Canadian...which as of this writing is about .74 cents on the dollar. However, portions were drastically reduced. 1/4 lb burger covered half the bun. Philly steak sandwich was about 1/3 less than before. After finishing, server came with Bill. There was no explanation or apology for the delay. This was noted in tip. If you have staffing issues, fix it. Do better.

For a change up we decided to get the turkey with stuffing burger. What we got was a note scrawled on the container they were out of the stuffing for it. We got a mediocre frozen turkey patty with gravy and bacon and a soggy awful mess. I'm calling them tomorrow to get a refund or a comp for next time because this was truly a disaster and just plain gross. The only thing any good were the sweet potatoes fries, I always order them and the best I've ever had from a restaurant. But tonight will be a pepto bismol night.
