    Yummy ginger carrot dressing.
    Jeanjer S.

First time trying Ramen at a restaurant. It was underwhelming. Noodles in unseasoned unsalted broth/water. I don't eat soft yolk eggs, so I asked for a hard boiled egg. He told me they could not do that as they already cooked the eggs and just slice them. I told him it doesn't take long to boil an egg. Red flag #1. I ordered the chicken ramen. It was way too bland. When I asked for something to spice it up he offered the hot sauce with the rooster. I declined and asked for something else he got the hot chili oil. I also got the salad with the ginger carrot dressing. It was very fresh and delish. I got the fried angus dumplings. I couldn't eat them. It was a chunk of unseasoned meat inside the fried wrapper. Even dipping in the sauce didn't help. I wouldn't go back again, the $2-3 ramen cups at the grocery store are WAY better.

They generally have specials on Tuesdays for sushi rolls! The place has ample parking and they are located at a great location. Service and food is really good. They have a nice ambience which makes comfortable. The robot severs are just like in Japan. Kids got fascinated by them.

Went for lunch and enjoyed every bite. The sushi roll we ordered was delicious and the shrimp basil fried rice was good...just the right amount of spice but was not seasoned enough...but I was in Alpharetta so not taking away for the lack of seasoning . I will say that the waitstaff is not very friendly when you come in but eventually warm up...just remember to smile and be patient. The place was quiet and pleasant for lunch, the food was good, and the price was right...so will definitely be back.

Our family decided to branch out tonight and try a new spot. This restaurant is located off Windward Parkway in Alpharetta. There was plenty of parking and we were immediately seated upon arrival- even though the restaurant was full and bustling. There are lots of tables that could have seated a large party. The menu included options for Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. We opted for a combo of standard American Chinese Dishes- honey chicken was flavorful and sweet, chicken teriyaki, kung pao all enjoyed. The sushi rolls we tried were great- pink lady has a sweet flavor and we do love soy paper rolls, plus a standard tempura. Service: 10/10 - Erwin is amazing and attentive and made the experience fun.

Got a sushi craving......Run, don't walk to the Volcano Asian Bistro!! The sushi and the service are on point and AMAZING!! I just moved to Alpharetta and am searching for restaurants who are hospitable, offer a clean environment, delicious food with a creative and unique presentation, along with incredible and delicious cuisine. This is THE PLACE for sushi!! It may be busy on Tuesday's since they offer 1/2 off sushi rolls. I prefer a slower and quieter ambiance so I can enjoy my experience, so Monday evening is perfect. I am so happy I gave Volcano Asian Bistro a chance!! This is my place for sushi in Alpharetta!!

Decided to try this spot out while in the area of Alpharetta. Upon walking inside it's kind of hard to see especially if it's during the day time and it's sunny outside because the interior lighting is VERY dark. The menu showcases have a variety of rolls And I decided to go with something different. I ordered the filet mignon roll which was absolutely delicious and a pleasant surprise! Daughter had the cream cheese shrimp tempura roll and said the crunch was to die for! However, the miso soup was under seasoned. There were hand sanitizers on each table which was a nice touch during this pandemic season. Unfortunately, we had an unwanted guest try to accompany us while we dined. It was a dead bumble bee and I had to point it out to the staff which is why I had to remove one star. Definitely not a deterrent though because I can come back if I'm ever in the area again.

I've eaten here before. The sushi was ok not that tasty. On Tuesday they do all sushi 50% off but you can't combine with any other offers. I've been to other sushi places that were better tasting as this was close to average.

The atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable. The food overall was tasty, flavorful, and served in generous portions. However, the menu situation was a major hassle. It's essentially a thick book with a separate price sheet, meaning you have to cross-reference dish codes just to see prices. To make matters worse, there were only two price sheets for 15 people. If they keep this system, every menu needs its own attached price sheet. As for the dishes, most were good, but the coconut rice fell flat--it was far too bland with almost no coconut flavor compared to versions I've had elsewhere. Service started strong with a seamless check-in and timely seating, but the ending was frustrating. Despite calling weeks in advance to confirm individual checks, staff insisted at the end of the meal that they could only split the bill five ways. After insisting on our original agreement, we all had to stand in a long line to check out individually at the register because they couldn't bring separate itemized bills to our table.

The scallop was nice and it's sweet from the yuzu. The sushi/sashimi were the highlight! The bluefin sampler was so fresh and all the sushi combination was fabulous! The main was sea bass and miso cod. The sea bass was better than the cod, but both were wonderful with the crunch of seaweed and sushi rice underneath. Tucked in a small plaza sandwiched between a orthodontists office and a salon is this little tiny joint off Webb Bridge road off Kimball Bridge in Alpharetta. So when you walk into the place, it's got the vibe of a night market where you're sitting in the street of Hong Kong or Beijing eating local fare. The decor reflects that the art of the place gives it that night market feeling. There isn't much in terms of service as it's a small operation but that's all you really need is a front of house greeter/host and someone to deliver the food and someone to cook it and Haochi has it! Now let's talk food... I had gotten their char sui pork bao (they named it chashu like the Japanese pork used in Tonkatsu ramen), Taiwanese fried chicken, and the HongKong wonton noodle soup... and let me tell you! It's all great! The Taiwanese fried chicken is crispy yet the chicken is so juicy and flavorful. Seasoned beautifully with a hint of that Chinese 5 spice in the batter recipe and served popcorn style with a sweet and sour dipping sauce makes for a very good starter The bao bun is light. Not much of a fan of the char sui pork as it was cut bologne thin yet held almost no flavor and the cucumber used was a bit off putting so wasn't a fan of the bao, at least not the chashu version. The HongKong wonton Noodle soup is amazing!!! The broth was savory, rich, yet seeing that the base of the broth is wonton soup broth, it was also light and super clean and deeply flavorful. Maybe it's the MSG but that's an Asian staple seasoning. They did give large chunks of roast pork and about 4 shumai dumplings in the broth. The noodles were thin and cooked to perfection. What set this right even more so was the addition of chili oil. Bummed they didn't have Chinese black vinegar but I think that's just me being snobby. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experience at Haochi and it's definitely fusion but not in the way that it satisfies the western taste as there is still a prominent nod to the Chinese and South East Asian flavors. Worth hitting up for a lunch spot or a hang with friends.

I was the only one dining in, everyone else took there's to go and a few Uber Eats or Door dash showed up. I ordered The balsamic shrimp salad, it has lettuce mix, grilled shrimp, pickled radish, edamame, purple cabbage, seasoned corn, sesame seed, croutons, and balsamic vinegar dressing. I asked to add avocado and MJ us the seasoned corn. This salad was a perfect balance for me. Not too filling. Balsamic vinaigrette dressing is not one of my favorites so I sprinkled it on not too heavy. I also had the ITOEN unsweetened Bold Green Tea. It had a bold flavor, hence the name. I will be here until Saturday so I'll come back two more days. On my way out, I stopped by the laboratory to find it was near and tidy as well.
