On a final follow-up exam, he mentioned I might consider consulting with a dermatologist. He suspected I might have skin cancer. I immediately followed up and was able to get an appointment several months out. Apparently there are few dermatologists in Klamath Falls. When I was finally examined, the doctor expressed relief that I was referred, skin cancer was confirmed, and it was caught early. Is it any wonder I highly recommend Dr. Mark Fay? Had he have just pushed me through the appointment and moved on, I might have discovered the cancer at a much later date, which would not have been good! THANK YOU DR. FAY!

Therefore, insurance won't pay for the exam (deductible) and my vision plan won't because it was a "medical exam ." Even worse, they got the original prescription wrong and it had to be redone. I am having to pay a $374 bill for work that should have been covered. How can I trust a provider that can't even do the right kind of exam? PS. BEC came very highly recommended from a current client that just happens to work at BiMart. From the moment we called to make our appointments to checking in - being seen and getting our eye exams - we were treated like friends and family. These glasses I have survived an airbag deployment in a car accident and being sat on. They are virtually indestructible. So the manager needs to borrow a reality check. The employees are good at their jobs, however the doctors didn't dilate my eyes and just asked me a bunch of questions to filter out various diseases of the eyes. Not a place to get your eyes checked!

His office staff took an extra step for me to research my insurance plan since I did not have the new card available for this visit. Impressive that this step was taken to solve the problem instead of accepting that I did not have all of the information that I needed for the visit.
