Sonia gave me a good cut was nice. I did have to ask her to pump my chair up so i could see me in the mirror she did but the chair kept going down so i couldnt she what she was doing. Very small mirror. I just got a trim and blow dry 37 dollars they charge per layer. That oncludes the tip. No wash Strange. Loved sonia good hair stylist but managers need to fix the mirrors and the chairs and charge by cut not layers. read more

I just recently went and needed my hair done for a wedding and thought they would do a good job but got bad service from them. I got my hair and makeup done and will never go back again. My appointment was at 12 and by the time I got to church at 3 my hair fell apart and makeup was wearing out. I had told her that I was coming out in the wedding and needed my hair to last all night and she assured me that she had tightened my hair good and it wasn't. I will not be returning back for bad service. All through the time I was there, I felt she did not want to be there and made me feel very uncomfortable. Very unprofessional. read more

Why oh why did I find this wonderful place just as I'm leaving Palmdale for good? I stumbled on Vogue Studios yesterday morning when I was at the mailing store next door. I popped in and managed to get an appointment for 9:00 am today - the only appointment they had left for a Sunday!! They are busy. Andrea was my stylist. Priscilla greeted me and chatted for a few minutes while Andrea got ready for me. I want to say that this was the best hairdressing experience I have had since I left Australia 14 years ago! The place is calm, the ladies are charming, professional, friendly and ready to chat while they work. No yelling across the salon floor, no loud music, just calm and relaxation while Andrea worked her magic. My hair was a bit of a tangled lion's mane I have to admit, but I bounced out of that salon with beautiful soft, silken hair cut perfectly for this high country gal. Andrea was a total sweetheart. Updated review.. think twice before you come to this salon. They are shady and lie about pricing. Their pricing is all over the place. My mom went to about 4 different stylist there and the pricing was never the same. Hair dye is 55 on short hair and yet my mom has ear length hair and was charged 75 dollars and the dye didn't even last... I got tape in extensions last September for my wedding and I'm regretting it now, I had no idea how much of my natural hair Andrea was cutting off to blend with the extensions... there was one time she was pulling the tapes out of my hair without oil because she said my hair was too thin and the oil wouldn't wash out, my scalp was so sore and I knew she was pulling out some of my natural hair. My hair is thin and uneven it's ridiculous. I went to another salon for a consultation to look at my hair and they pretty much said that for me to cut my hair and for it to look decent I would have to cut almost all my length off!!!! Andrea kept telling me that my hair was this thin probably because she didn't want to acknowledge that fact she cut off way too much of my hair, I know my hair better than anyone and have been told by past stylist my hair is not too thin or thick I'm in the middle. Then she tried telling me that my hair doesn't take hair dye well.. yeah I've never had that problem before at any other salon! Save your money and go somewhere else! read more

I wanted to try something new, went for the balayage- seen that Priscilla was the hairdresser. I go in for my appointment & let Priscilla know what I wanted ( I had some crazy colors in my hair). She worked her magic & VAVOOM! Not only was my hair NOT damaged at the end since she used amazing products to keep my hair from breaking, but it's beautiful!!!! I came in to get a dry cut, just to lighten my layers up, and it looks terrible now that I am home and have washed it and styled it. There are three visible layers and Priscilla did a very poor job fading them in. It was a 20 minute haircut, the fastest I have ever experienced, and now I know why. I didn't get a color done, but I would not recommend this salon if you want naturally cut hair. read more

Amazing! I came in with about 7+ years of black box dye (I know dumb) and was looking to go much lighter! My stylist was Sonia and she was amazing! I had come in about two weeks prior to get a consultation with who I believe is the owner (who is very sweet) and although the price she originally gave me for (color correction, balyage, and trim) was veryyyy off from what I ended up paying just for the color correction and trim (don't know why) but it was very worth it! They are not the type to go right ahead and do it simply because you want it! They educate you and take great care of you and your hair as much as possible! With my hair I knew it would be difficult due to the box dye. They gave me a couple of options and were extremely patient with me and my stubborn hair! Sonia was so sweet and easy to talk to as well as the rest of the staff! You can tell they're a team so the atmosphere is very comforting and relaxing! Will definitely be back to retouch and hopefully finally get to do my balyage! Thanks ladies read more

Very pricey especially for a balayage. My hair is just past shoulder length, with a caramel balayage, and not very thick. I was charged $230 for just a color sesh (double more than most places). I showed them an Instagram post of a look they had previously done on another client. I ended up with a very dark look almost similar to what I already had. When I showed the picture I wanted it was a warm blonde, and I am still a caramel brown after getting it done here. She then told me to achieve the look I asked for I would have to come in for a second session. Why wasn't I told this before I paid $230? So I'd have to pay $560 within two months ? Although I know they are concerned about damaging my hair too much, I would've liked to know it would be two sessions. When I was styled and finished I was confused on why I didn't get the look I wanted. After paying so much it was frustrating to not get what I asked for. read more

Abbie turned my ugly dull hair into a vibrant beachy blonde and I ADORE it! I still get compliments everyday and it's by far the best color I've ever had my hair. She does a flawless job with coloring and styling, I honestly haven't seen anyone color hair like this and I've been to a ton is salons.
