New business management and new business name: Magnolia Nail Spa 4 The inside of the shop is still the same as old business Le Charme but it's not the same. Service and quality isn't the same under their old manager Ryan. I personally felt like it was a trap that they continue to use the LeCharme name and website when they had clearly changed. I was confused when I arrived and saw the name change but still gave them a chance as I had booked an appointment via Le Charme website and only had that day to get my nails done before going to a wedding on the West Coast. Also, even though I had an Spa Pedicure appointment for 10AM (opening time) I still had to wait. Other customers came in (either appt or walk in) and were seen first... they also had to call for more Nail technicians to come. I sat at the manicure station flipping through gel color templates waiting for Nail tech to see me. I already choose but waiting, at one point they had forgotten me until someone asked me what I wanted and I had to repeat myself again. I picked a spa pedicure treatment and selected gel as I heard gel last longer. It was my first time getting gel but I wanted to look my best for the wedding I'll be attending. I asked for paraffin wax for my feet and callus treatment. They were confused and said paraffin is already included in the spa package (I remember it is usually for heel only and I wanted for the entire feet) but they insisted it was included and for the entire feet, so I said okay and let them do their thing. Service was decent but my nail tech had rushed and missed a few spot. She didn't apply the polish carefully and throughly. It was like coloring your hair, they always leave a gap from the hairline so you can return for touchup. In my pic, you can see my toes didn't look as nice and pic was taken about 1.5-2hrs later (after appointment, I had quick lunch and went straight home). While I did enjoy the spa pedicure, because I wanted to pamper my feet, she was abit rough at times and rushed it. And no, she didn't apply paraffin wax to the entire feet; just the heel. I was willing to pay extra but they didn't do that. If you don't know, paraffin wax help rehydrate and trap in moisture and it's particularly effective for those who often get calluses to help in removing dead skin, and healing dry patches. It acts like a form of heat therapy and can help increase blood flow, relax muscles, and decrease joint stiffness. It can also minimize spasms and inflammation as well as treat sprains. When it was time to pay, I thought I would have to shell out more for everything as I didn't know what the actual cost would be. I wanted Spa Pedicure package with Gel Color. Callus Treatment $10, Gel pedicure $55 & Spa Pedicure $45. I had assumed they would charge abit extra for the Gel coloring ontop of the Spa Pedicure package. After I paid and walked out (no receipt was given to me and I had hope to take a pic of the bill but the total was present quickly to me and was out of my view) and walked down the street, the owner lady came out chasing me saying I needed to pay more. I follow back and she said something else was charged to me.. again wasn't able to see the bill and had to trust her word and paid more. I finally left and disappointed later on when I examined my feet at home. I think its time to find a new Nail Salon.

The technician repeatedly focused on the corner of one toenail that appeared completely fine, continuing to poke and cut at the area despite there being no visible issue. She also seemed visibly frustrated throughout the service, sucking her teeth in frustration as she went over this area again and again with the cuticle cutters, which added to the discomfort. Now, 6 days later, I'm experiencing pain and warmth in that toe, which makes me concerned that the excessive cutting has resulted in irritation and may have even caused an ingrown toenail -- not cool, very awkward & disappointing experience. Manicure: The manicure itself was acceptable, but the process felt inconsistent and unstructured. Each hand was treated differently, and tools--specifically the cuticle nipper--were not cleaned during the service, resulting in visible buildup of cuticle cuttings on the tool, which was unpleasant and concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Overall, this experience left me uncomfortable and disappointed, and I wouldn't return.

I had what might be the most unpleasant nail appointment I've ever sat through. From the start, she was rushing, and not in a subtle way. When I politely asked her to ease up because she was hurting me, she barely grazed her glove and said "see? Doesn't hurt" -- completely dismissing what I was telling her about my own pain. She then continued at the same pace and pressure. Being heard was simply not on the agenda. The quality of the work matched the attitude. One of my nails had a visible thread of polish hanging off it, clearly about to crack, and when I pointed it out she told me she didn't know what I was talking about and couldn't see anything. I could see it. And sure enough, by the end of the same day, that nail had already cracked and was looking overgrown. Same-day results like that tell you everything you need to know. I paid good money to leave feeling dismissed, hurt, and with nails that were already failing before I got home. I'd strongly recommend requesting a different tech if you visit Latouie -- or doing your research before sitting down.

My tech's name was Hebe and she was wonderful! She gave a great 10 minute massage that accompanied my upgrade green tea spa pedicure. She was very meticulous and took her time. I didn't have to micromanage her every step of the way and actually got to relax in my massage chair. My color was gel #269 which was a very lovely coral/ pinkish color perfect for spring. My legs are soft and my aching feet were massaged back to life. For $5, I opted to enroll in their membership program, which was the activation fee. I plan to come here more often and maybe even go back to trying gel manicures like I did years ago as a treat. Get your gift cards here for Mother's Day gentlemen!!!

First, we were GIVEN basic pedicures, not an option to choose a spa pedicure and asked to select a scent like most places. But the guest next to me was given an option. The guy attempted to be very meticulous on painting my toes, but ultimately, he took forever for a barely decent job and he didn't paint all of my pinky toe nails, and I was left with most of the paraffin wax still on my shoes and feet. I had to take one of the tools and remove the excess lotipn from nail bed and under the nails to show him what he missed! They did such a bad job that they didn't charge me for my pedi. We went elsewhere for nails. They had several clientele that seemed to be regulars so it seems as they cater more towards appointments than walk-ins. Won't be back there.

I called and asked for Jason for an appointment but was told his schedule is full for the whole week. Ok, no problem. I said I'll take anyone else who can do simple nail art. Yes, they said! Come on in. I came at 4 PM on a Wednesday. There were only 2 other people in the salon and it was very quiet. As soon as I sat down, I asked the manicurist if she could do the design I showed her a picture of (French tips with opal white instead of plain white). She said no problem and took a photo of my photo with her own phone and sent it to someone. She removed my powder gel fine and shaped my nails as I requested. Then comes time for the painting! I asked for powder gel and asked if the French tips would be UV gel, she said yes. Then she leaves and I'm greeted by another manicurist. I ask her if she is comfortable with the design I show her a picture, she said yes no problem. I say great! She begins using white to draw my French and I ask if she has Pearl white instead of regular white like the picture shows. She said she would do the pearl afterwards. When it comes time for the pearl white, she uses a multicolored glittery color that has no resemblance to the photo I showed. It is seemingly yellow from the angle I was looking at it. Eek! She asked if I liked it and I said it's not like the photo at all, that it's rainbow not pearly white. She told me they don't have the pearly white color. I said to keep the white then, although I definately would have asked for baby pink tips if I knew pearly white wasn't an option. I'm not sure why they didn't tell me they don't have pearly white as an option so I could request another design. I was so frustrated that I showed the photo to 2 people and they both said they could do the design no problem. I walked out with a French manicure that I did not like the look of and was so unhappy. It has been 3 days and now 4 of my nails have chipped on the white tips (just as other reviewers have said). I am shocked and honestly just frustrated I have to spend another $50 somewhere else to replace the brand new manicure I have now.

I honestly didn't want to write this review, but I felt it was important to share my experience. On my last visit, I felt pressured to keep my nails and add color when I just wanted a break. Even her husband started talking to me about the quality of LCN. I thought it was light conversation, but it felt more like a sales pitch. My nails sometimes feel weak after removal, and I wanted a break (and to go boxing!). Removal was $15 for cutting, filing, shaping, buffing, and cuticle oil. Adding polish is an extra $15, and basic manicures already start at $15. I skipped the polish and will do clear at home. It's one thing to keep customers happy and accommodating, but it's another to also be understanding when a regular customer just wants to go basic even if they've been consistent with business. Mimi did check in with me after, which I appreciated, but feeling pressured doesn't make me want to return. I do like this nail salon and hope for a more understanding experience next time. I opted to go for their special Spa Pedicure with regular manicure. I am happy with both services. Lilly gives a really good pedi. The spa pedicure was nice. She wrapped my legs in a clay mask and covered with warm towels and Saran Wrap to set while she worked on my feet. She gave a nice 15mins leg massage and showed me the timer she set so I would be sure it's 15mins. She did well in removing those pesky little bits of nail that always dig into the side of the big toe... lol I don't know how else to explain it. But Lilly did really good there! The manicure was as expected. She did well and didn't cut me when removing my cuticles. Downside: they charge $1 for quick dry so I had to pay $2 (one for toes one for hands..) which is not a deal breaker for me but I feel like it should just be standard to apply one coat of quick dry to all polish.. but maybe I'm just spoiled cause my usual place includes it with service. They gave me a gift which I thought was sweet and thoughtful. It was a green tea lotion. Not sure if this was only for Xmas or just something they give with Spa pedi. I saw a flyer for "Forever charmed by V" which is a pop up shop that they have where you can get "forever jewelry" while you wait for your nails to dry. I hope I catch that vendor next time they are there. Overall I would come back here again and I would ask for Lilly again. Thank you Lilly!
