Feels like a tiny northern Minnesota bar. Pedro, the main bartender, is super friendly and welcoming.

They have an amazing cocktail menu along with a cocktail and martini of the day! Very exciting to see the creative freedom from the team! The mussels are to die for! I have been here two times in the last week and lemme tell ya.. this is quite the spot. I do suggest making a reservation because everytime I go here it is popping! What a vibey place, the lights aren't too bright, it gives a hip, fun, light energy and is not too pretentious but has INCREDIBLE FOOD AND DRINKS. Right now, one of their specials is whitefish toast.. if you enjoy fish at all, you need this. The fish is light and fresh, they put fresh dill on top and it is placed on top of some toasted sourdough bread perfectly. The fish is flavorful, a lil earthy and I feel as if there are capers or olives in in the fish mixture, whatever it is is fire! The burrata, beets, and citrus is a nice lovely, fresh, light app, the burrata is perfection with the beets and fresh, juicy citrus, drizzled with some oil and random pieces of garlic mixed in, YUM. I suggest ordering bread on the side with this one! The wings here are a staple and always delish. Crispy, hot, and coated perfectly in a light sweet chili sauce.. they hit the spot everytime. The housemade ranch is a perfect dipper. The other day I tried the chorizo and scallops... oh my goodness gracious.. it was a lil spicy and creamy with the bean puree and the scallops were buttery, light and divine! 10 outta 10 would do again. Finally, got the goat cheesecake, gluten free ginger snap crust with poached pears. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I want this now and in every lifetime! The cheesecake was light, yet decadent, deep, creamy with a light, unassuming flavor. The crust was delicious and the poached pears added that perfect fruit component. I got Liam as my server both times, he was helpful, attentive, had good suggestions when asked questions and didn't interrupt at all, amazing! This is the spot for any occasion!

Since we didn't have a reservation, we arrived early and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. From the moment we walked in, we loved everything about the place. The décor is beautiful, the ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff was fantastic. The menu offers so many great options, and the cocktails were even better than expected. Our server, Rosie, provided excellent recommendations, and we genuinely loved everything we ordered. They also offer a great happy hour until 6 PM, which is a nice bonus. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I highly recommend giving it a try. One small note: We didn't realize a 20% gratuity had already been added to our bill. That's partially on us for not catching it on the credit card slip, (we tipped in cash) but I do think it would be helpful if servers mentioned it when presenting the check. I typically prefer to tip in cash, so on our $62 tab, we ended up leaving a $34 tip. Even with that little surprise, we'll absolutely be back. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all worth another visit!

Previously, the food saved it from itself. The dining area is so noisy, and the tables are jammed into each other - there is no way to get in or out without bumping into another chair - but for good food at acceptable prices, it was worth it. After the last visit, the food isn't worth it for me. On this most recent stop, several of the regular items i had gotten had been discontinued, and I could find nothing else that was appealing, so I went with their omelette special. It was disgusting. I ate the individual elements by themselves, so that it wouldn't be a total waste, but much of the bacon just tasted bad - not undercooked - just bad, like they didn't know how to make bacon. The decline in food quality seems to mimic the overall decline in this establishent. I can't foresee ever going back. PS The Service was good.

Little restaurant & bar inside Envision Hotel…read more I went here to celebrate after a football game! The bartenders/staff were nice but seemed very overwhelmed dealing with large crowds. I had to repeat my order several times. Overall the waitstaff did the best they can, kept a good attitude and I appreciate that. They didn't seem to have a full bar. They had to few dark liquors, bottles of beer, & maybe 4-5 tap beers on tab. The food was priced the same as any other bar. $10 for a plate of wings. I think it's fair. The buffalo wings were not good in my opinion. They were a bit slimy/soggy. The buffalo flavor was very light & didn't have a lot of flavor. I also ordered fries, they were not salted which is fine but all I'm saying is there was nothing special about them. They were also a little soggy. The atmosphere was good. It was set up really cute with traditional dining seating (tables and chairs) and also a chill chairs, couches and coffee tables. They had multiple TVs, playing different channels. Very nice setup. The bar was in the middle of the restaurant. The only complaint I have is that the stools at the bar aren't high enough, unless you are very tall. The bar is way too high.

Our bartender Dan was very accommodating and nice. He even offered that we try the different beers on tap before choosing.! Sadly the place seems like an afterthought as a restaurant for the hotel. For appetizers we got the fried chicken wings and nachos. The nachos had a abundance of lettuce and cheese but not quite enough meat and the tortilla chips themselves were a bit too hard for my taste. The wings though were good..! The were plain salt and pepper but real wings, freshly fried, and un-breaded. Can't go wrong except with the prep, but nope, these were fried perfectly. Still moist and good to the bite. I had the walleye sandwich which I thought was good, pretty decent. The breading was crispy and fluffy and the walleye wasn't 'super fresh' tasting but it didn't have a fishy taste so 'decent' quality? The bun and presentation of the plate itself was great. It came in a flaky and crisp, but firm bun with fresh romaine lettuce and tartar/white sauce served along side waffle style potato chips. The potato chips seemed to be old and stale and/or soft... :( but the sandwhich itself was solid. Good texture and quality but not really much flavor. I'd say the place was okay but I would be hesitant to try it again unless I was staying at the hotel.

Located inside the Foshay Tower, there's street and valet parking available! We entered through the W hotel lobby and took the elevator up to the 27th floor! We were met by a fun, retro-inspired lounge with many couches and tables available in a 360-degree set up. It has Prohibition-themed decor, but I wouldn't quite call it a speakeasy, as there wasn't any guise to entering or accessing the space. My only critique is that the space is quite dated, but not in a cool way. It could really use an update to the paint and interior to maintain itself as a "destination" versus just another hotel bar with a view. The bartenders were quite friendly and helpful during our visit. We had an Old Fashioned and a Paper Plane during our visit! Both cocktails were absolutely delicious and perfectly made. Now, at around $26 each, I would expect that level. Overall, a cool, historical spot to grab a drink!
