Had the appointment...and the genius bar dude was "this is a problem". Total disgust and dismay in his face certainly & not a welcoming demeanor. He can't do anything. WTF! It takes us almost an hour to get there and he wants to go to the "other" store. Talk about passing the buck to someone else! I spoke to the manager and he couldn't seem to get his head around this, which he didn't see a problem to go to the other store either. I had to huff and puff to get want I wanted, which I hate to do but this isn't rocket science! To be honest, the phone was working fine...but didn't hold the full charge but technically is in good working order. In the end, they "found" the battery but it's just plain laziness. You either have it or you don't! Sheesh. Don't suffer...go to the EUR store.

The technician Andrea told me I can't leave my computer for repairs but instead I have to go home and return with an appointment in order to fix my computer. I couldn't just leave it there and they call me. I also was prepared to purchase a new computer in return as I need it for work. The manager Andrea told me I cannot. I am sure share holders of apple, including myself, would not like to know there is an employee treating customers like this. This is the reason that I will only buy apple products in America unless forced into purchasing them here. Terrible customer service and management.

You'll save hundreds of dollars this way (use that money for the Italian leather shoes you want!) just bring your passport and in some cases, you'll need a "codice fiscale" which we had on hand, but didn't need. We were ignored for the initial portion of our visit and had to ask a few times before someone finally told us she would find us a CA to show us a few items. There were few of them laughing and looking in our direction at some point instead of actually offering assistance. Was it some underlying racism? Were we just dressed too casually? I haven't had this issue at other stores despite being dressed casually. This store is one of the larger ones in Rome and had the most item selection and in stock that we were interested in. The Via Condotti location that is not far away always seems to have a line outside while this one does not. The store within the Rinascente mall nearby has a smaller selection but I heard you can do your tax refund within the mall. Finally, the Rome airport store is quite nice but is usually very busy and cannot reserve items for you.

I visited to get my iPhone SE( over 5 years old) repaired, and even though a repair was not possible without having the problem very likely recurr, the technician at the store provided a workaround so my phone is back to being functional. And she did not charge me as she did not replace anything. And provided great advice on what to do for similar problems. They have a larger location closer to the Fendi flagship store; however, with it being around 10am during our morning stroll at the Spanish Steps it made more sense to check this one out. I was the second person to be ushered in and it looked like they had a few VICs already shopping before open to the public. What really resonated with me was how friendly they were and looking forward to helping me with my shopping needs. This shop has more than one level and is carefully curated taking advantage of every square inch of space within the boutique. Once it was my turn I informed them it would be a short and sweet shopping visit as I needed to pick up a wallet for partner's tia. They had the wallet in stock and we were able to get it boxed up and wrapped up for the holidays. Now the five-star moment that made me smile was how friendly they were to hot stamp my passport holder to have an emblem of the colosseum. It's a complimentary service but many stores don't have the ability to do it on the spot. They did it within ten minutes which made my stop to this shop more memorable. Shopping luxury in Europe is always cheaper than it is buying in the US. Make sure to have your physical passport so they can have the paperwork prepped and ready to go upon checkout. A photo of your passport will not suffice.

I found a gorgeous pair from Posto Italiano for 168 euros (232 dollars). I initially wasn't going to get them because of the price, but after looking around at Aldo and Steve Madden (the kind of stores I would normally get boots from - decently priced, decent quality), their boots were around the same price. I love these boots and have gotten a lot of compliments on them. I've worn them almost every single day for almost 5 months now - I live in Chicago for most of the year for school and they've lasted through one of the harshest winters.

One of the salesperson snatched the wallet from my hands and told me to look elsewhere in the store which was kinda a shocking response. I did end up purchasing a new wallet and belt because the quality was ok. The belt also wasn't properly measured and adjusted. It's an outstanding DIY project to adjust for my correct size. Honestly if I had more time I would have went elsewhere to make a purchase.
