I've had great experiences at other LV stores in the US, as well as in Milan and the Rome airport, but wow, the employees at this store were incredibly rude. We were ignored for the initial portion of our visit and had to ask a few times before someone finally told us she would find us a CA to show us a few items. There were few of them laughing and looking in our direction at some point instead of actually offering assistance. Was it some underlying racism? Were we just dressed too casually? I haven't had this issue at other stores despite being dressed casually. This store is one of the larger ones in Rome and had the most item selection and in stock that we were interested in. The Via Condotti location that is not far away always seems to have a line outside while this one does not. The store within the Rinascente mall nearby has a smaller selection but I heard you can do your tax refund within the mall. Finally, the Rome airport store is quite nice but is usually very busy and cannot reserve items for you. read more

In the center of the most fabulous and posh shopping in Rome I found this LV store to be very helpful with professional who are will to go that extra mile for you and find that one special piece your looking for. So i'm that new money guy. Ive been collecting a bunch of fendi pieces, so when i left the fendi shop because they didnt have what i was looking for. I thought i'd give this store a try. Walking in, there was no Buena Serra,,, no Prego! None of the formal Italian greeting as we walk in. Ok fine, that's no biggie. So we proceed to the downstairs where the man stuff is and browse around their accessories. I didnt see any id cases/holders in display. So i wanted to ask an associate if there had any. So i see a few associates helping out other guests. Don't wanna be rude, but i they somehow make eye contact and break off super fast. None of the, "Sir have you been helped?" Or "We'll be right with you as soon as i help this person." Nope,, just been treated as a regular, poor, window shopping, real tree fitting tourist. Im sure it's not my fault. Most tourists types probably just come to gawk at things they cant afford in this shop. But as far im concerned, this is unacceptable. This is one of the largest LV stores in Europe and I really enjoyed the size and decoration of the store, but the service was below average for a luxury brand store. The store wasn't busy, but the sales associate I had wasn't friendly at all. I chose a bag on display and I decided to get it, and I asked for a brand new one in the back but she immediately said that's the last bag without even checking. My friend bought a wallet as well and she was just mute and didn't give us a good or memorable experience. read more

Avoid. Firstly, the staff couldn't care less. They stand at the top of the stairs chatting while not only ignoring customers, but blocking the stairwell to the lower level as you ask them to excuse you while you try to walk around them. I had to literally ask the one lady chatting if anyone wanted to sell some jewelry. Then when we got back, we found that they incorrectly filed the forms that we needed to claim Global Blue. And on $16000 worth of purchases, a significant sum. Nearly $3000. Seriously, this brand deserves better. As do we. Never. Again. read more

I came to this LV store to look for a specific item which my friend had asked me to find. They only had one left, which I've been told is a selling tactic by the store - not sure if its true or not, but I ended up getting the the last item anyways. Why the 4 stars instead of the 5? There are a few reasons: 1. LV is so popular that you have tons of people walking in and out of the store and even trying to take the items that you are looking at. It becomes annoying. 2. Even though I purchased items at this LV store there was no offer of any drinks or even water. As a luxury store, I would imagine that they would at least offer some sort of drink while you wait around for your items. 3. I had to take a business call while I was shopping and while on the call I had multiple sales people walk up to me and try to see if I needed help looking for a specific item. First, I was already working with someone, I get that they are trying to make a commission, but let me continue working with the person that was already helping me. And secondly, leave me alone when I'm on the phone. I had shopped at multiple luxury brand stores this trip and must say that I was disappointed with the service at LV. read more

Once you enter into the store there is a greeter with an iPad and if they don't contact you- you will need to add your name to the list for a SA to assist you for finding an item, size or completing a purchase. I found this location to be slightly more organized then the counter part in Florence. Staff willing to help research items without you asking. Calling all LV coke heads, its about 12-205 cheaper depending on your local tax bracket but I mean, thats like looking for an excuse. Its a 2600 $ bag, and saying "Yea, look its like 200$ cheaper!!" not really an issue at that price range. The store though, is tight ! The place used to be the first cinema in Rome - built in 1907 and each month a different collection of short films will be presented to visitors. Now see, thats a reason to step in, and check out the place. They do have a wide collection of rarer leathers, and colors so you are likely to find something to suit your taste. read more

Louis Vuitton heaven! Walked into the store having an idea of what purse I wanted, and I expressed to the lady "I want a purse I can take out in the day or night. Not too big, but not too small. Maybe a maroon color but I'm open to others." The lady pulled out a Speedy 25 in the most beautiful fuschia color I've ever seen. She was so on point. Sold without any questions! The customer service was impeccable at this store and next time I am in Italy I will be back to this LV. read more

happened on this place by chance on our way to saint laurent. we previously went to the other location by the spanish steps and thought it was really small over there. but all the stores there were small so when we walked into this one we were like woah, now this is the louis vuitton we are used to. antonio was really great! he did a lot of magic for us. he was pulling out bags for us that weren't even available in paris! he made us really happy. he was very attentive and his service was great. i was also looking for a particular bag and he saw that a shipment was coming in and he texted me when it was going to arrive so i could pick it up. will definitely come back to this store specifically if i go back to rome. please look for antonio he is the best! read more

While in Rome, my husband and I walked past this store. I had no intention of getting a Louie handbag but he said, "Go in, it doesn't hurt to look"". Once inside We met Daria, a lovely salesperson, I told her I was just looking and she let me browse while my husband took a break from walking. My eyes fell on this cute cross body. I told Daria, I need something that will hold 3 things, phone, wallet and sunglasses. I also like a bag with an outside pocket. I loved this crossbody Pallas BB. But when she told us the price I thanked her and told my husband "Let's go". Once outside he said "If you want the bag I'll buy it for you, I spent more than that on wheels for my motorcycle". Okay, he twisted my arm. So we went back and asked for Daria. She showed me a few other bags but my heart just loved the Pallas BB. So half hour later with Vat papers and shopping bag in hand I became the owner of a Louis Vuitton from Rome, Italy! 2 days later with vat exchange in hand we went back and got the matching wallet! This was an extravagant purchase for us but, the treatment we received made it much more special. Thank you Daria and Louis Vuitton Roma for a memorable experience. read more

So, what started off as an enjoyable shopping experience, has quickly become THE worst. I stopped in the store to look at a couple of bags and after some thoughtful decision making, decided on the Speedy 35. My sales associate rang me up, gathered my forms for tax free, packaged up my handbag, and off I went. I had determined after I had left that I really should have purchased a shoulder bag as a handbag might not be as easy to carry around. Being my next stop in my travels was Siena and then Florence, I decided I would make the swap there. Only two days in between. I arrived at the Florence Louis Vuitton stating I wanted to make the exchange for the shoulder bag... and that's where it all went downhill. I was told the exchange can't be made because the bag has been "used". I proceeded to say that the box had not even been opened since leaving the store in Rome! However, my Speedy 35 was folded incorrectly into a SMALLER box than it should have been in, and not even placed in the dust bag. Furthermore, there is a tiny mark on the handle and some weird markings on the inside. At this point I am just devastated and so confused as to how careless my sales associate was that is now costing me my exchange for a bag I can actually use. The Florence associate tells me it's in my best interest to go back to the store in Rome! Oh, this is also when she tells me that I was rang up and paid for, a speedy 30!!! Making it even MORE difficult to make an exchange because my receipt says I should have a different bag!!! What a NiGHTMaRE! I called the Rome store yesterday and was told I would receive a call from another "colleague". Well that has yet to happen. Do yourself a favor and shop at a different Louis Vuitton store. One that is going to treat you with great service and not make you question why you want to ever purchase a bag from them again. read more
