Had the opportunity to shop at LV a few times in Rome throughout past years and this was my first time shopping at this location. They have a larger location closer to the Fendi flagship store; however, with it being around 10am during our morning stroll at the Spanish Steps it made more sense to check this one out. I was the second person to be ushered in and it looked like they had a few VICs already shopping before open to the public. What really resonated with me was how friendly they were and looking forward to helping me with my shopping needs. This shop has more than one level and is carefully curated taking advantage of every square inch of space within the boutique. Once it was my turn I informed them it would be a short and sweet shopping visit as I needed to pick up a wallet for partner's tia. They had the wallet in stock and we were able to get it boxed up and wrapped up for the holidays. Now the five-star moment that made me smile was how friendly they were to hot stamp my passport holder to have an emblem of the colosseum. It's a complimentary service but many stores don't have the ability to do it on the spot. They did it within ten minutes which made my stop to this shop more memorable. Shopping luxury in Europe is always cheaper than it is buying in the US. Make sure to have your physical passport so they can have the paperwork prepped and ready to go upon checkout. A photo of your passport will not suffice. read more

I came in with my fiancé today while on vacation to pick up a passport holder she has been wanting for months since we decided to come back to Rome. There was a wait to get helped which happens but when we were handed off to a salesperson within 30 seconds she suggests that we should have to walk upstairs and points to the middle of my finances dress which is fluffy and suggest she is pregnant. Which is an INSANE thing to suggest when she's not even close to looking pregnant and because the dress is just poofy, what women thinks it's ok to suggest something like that without knowing for absolute certain. Absolute appalling, we had just come from YSL across the street and the girl we had there was such a sweetheart and so helpful. Just go shop there so you aren't insulted when shopping. The reason for the 1 star rating is because I WAS GIVEN SOMEONE ELSES GLOBAL BLUE TAX REFUND FORM. I noticed this as I was flying home from Paris. I visited the LV store at the Paris airport and they contacted the LV Roma location about the problem. I was told 2 weeks ago that they would be in contact with me. I haven't heard a WORD since this paperwork was overlooked by the sales associate, Celeste Z. I am out €280 and am still waiting to receive contact from this location. I would NOT recommend this location. If you take the chance, double, triple check all of the paperwork you are given. This 3 star review is for my experience in November/December 2022 at this particular LV boutique mainly due to receiving their display bag without my knowledge nor consent. Within a fairly quick amount of time, I bought several items from the sales associate at this boutique including their most expensive handbag so you'd hope they provide you with good customer service as you're willing to drop dollars for their items and service. Since a group of us had to wait for some time, we were offered some drinks. Later, I met my sales associate and overall the interaction was smooth and she was nice. Unfortunately, due to the display bag I received, things that were supposed to come with a new bag were not there and I found that out after coming back to the States during my visit at our local LV boutique which caused a lot of inconvenience for me. I always check the product I receive prior to leaving but that day I was in a rush and forgot to check, so lesson learned and please don't make my mistake whenever you shop at a luxury boutique! In the end, my local boutique helped resolve the concerns but everything could've been avoided if only I was given what I should've received to begin with. read more

I had a great experience shopping at this Louis Vuitton during my trip to Rome in May 2024. There is a line as LV is popular anywhere! You get admitted, provide your name and browse until a sales professional helps you. I had the chance to browse for 15 mins prior to meeting a sales rep. I already knew what I wanted. I purchased two clutch purses. If you are a tourist, MAKE SURE TO HAVE YOUR ORIGINAL PASSPORT in order to get the VAT taxes back. 12.5% back if purchase is under $3,000, 14% back if under $4,000 and so on. I had a copy of our passports as we were sightseeing all day. No problem - made the purchase and the next day, we returned to get the VAT paperwork by showing our passports. This store has many purses, sunglasses, jewelry and clothing. It's an amazing savings if you are a tourist. Great experience, treated really well and definitely recommend this location! read more

This Louis Vuitton store was a great experience from the moment they opened the door until we left the store. The staff was welcoming and very helping in finding what I was looking for. I believe her name was Katirina and she was very friendly and very helpful! This location is location right below the Spanish Steps and has a beautiful glass entrance with multiple levels of bags placed in the most beautiful array. Terrible customer service. I have purchased here before, but when the employee couldn't find my name in the system, her attitude changed. We asked to see three different size wallets as gifts for other people. The employee who was helping us said something derogatory in Italian to another worker that we were getting cheaper because we were asking for smaller sizes (my wife speaks & understands Italian.) We we're with another couple & they were told they had to stay by us & not look around on their own. First, you don't know me or what my ability is to buy your products; don't prejudge people. In the end I bought all three wallets. I was going to purchase more but was fed up with the service. Our friends were also going to purchase something but left after being treated like they were criminals casing the store to steal something. I will never come into this store again. read more

Came here twice. First time, I didn't have my passport for tax refund but wanted to look anyway. I saw a bag I really wanted and decided to come back the next day, because even though I didn't purchase the day before, nobody pressured me. Everybody was very friendly and their English is very good, which is helpful in high dollar transactions as a foreigner. Emanuele helped me and I was glad to meet him. The store is pretty small, very busy because of its location. Sales associates are not very helpful, I was never asked what I was looking for or needed. I had to approach one myself and she handed me off to someone. He didn't introduce himself to me, very short and seemed uninterested. I asked for water since I had been walking around in Rome and it's the middle of summer here but he never gave me any. I made my purchase and got my Pochette Felicie unboxed, when I asked for a box he went away and brought it in a box without a bow. Not the experience I was hoping for since the amount of money you spend on these items deserve a bit more of professionalism and attention. Do yourself a favor and come to this LV in Rome, albeit smaller than the other one , the service is delightful. There was a bit of a wait time since it is busy season but they sat me upstairs and when my turn came the SA I had Soto, was absolutely amazing. She was very honest about prints and upkeep and had such great knowledge as she's been collecting for 40 years!! We were celebrating a special moment this trip and she gave us a cute gift and great attention, more so than in the other LV's in Italy. I can't tell you enough how this has been the best LV experience compared to the ones in NYC or Milan. Thank you again and can't wait to return! read more

This store customer service was horrible. No formal greeting when I walked in the door. Nobody came over to help me or anything like that....one service rep walked around the corner greeting then she saw me and walked the other way. I don't want to use the race car but I am a black man so I don't know. All I know I shopped at the LV store in London, Prague and Dubai and never was treated this way. This LV store lost my business. Service needs a lot of improvement. Came in 10 minutes after opening. Staff were were too busy preparing for the day [taking photos of items, rearranging wallets]. I undErstand that they need to prepare for the day, but what I didn't understand was the lack of customer service and being blatantly ignored by staff. No buongiorno/goodmorning, no smile, nothing-- my husband eventually asked if he could see a wallet, but was brusquely answered "Hold On, one minute"". We watched thIs woman rearrange wallets for a couple of minutes before grabbing and placing the wallet we pointed to on the counter. She proceeded to rearrange wallets, not saying another word to us.Sadly, we felt like we were being a "burden", and we left. As we were leaving , we saw 2 other sales associates eagerly helping another asian woman. We went a several blocks down to the Rina Scente location and were helped immediately and completed our purchase efficiently. I basically did a tour of italy with Rome as my final stop. I'm in my 20s and I don't dress extremely fancy, comfort over everything, but I do like nice things. Walking into any luxury store, the workers tend to assume you have no money and you're not going to buy anything. It was like that through all of Italy especially in Milan when one door holder didn't even open the door for us. Very nice women opened the door and greeted us as we walked entered Louis Vuitton. The AC was fantastic, the layout perfect. We walked upstairs and that was were it all fell apart. We looked at the wallets in their display cases for 5 minutes and every now and then different staff member would look at us with blank expressions but not speak one word. No "hello or... let me know if you need me I will we be right over here". They just stood there up againts the walls. It was very bizarre. My husband finally asked a young woman (Laura R.) If he could see a wallet. It was almost as if at that second she came to life. Laura was so sweet and suggested a different wallet that we had not seen before. We liked it better an appriciated her suggestion. My husband was ready to buy the wallet when a purse caught my eye on the opposite side of the room. Laura walked towards the purses and asked if it was ok to offer my son who was sitting at a long table waiting for us a water or soda. After we selected the walet and purse she handed us the bag with a smile. I would have loved to have given five stars for quality items and familiar store layout but the reception and lack of enthusiasm at the start left what would have been a wonderful visit tainted. In the US I have come to expect a certain level of respect when I come into a store like this to lay down this much cash. The staff was great and the merchandise is exactly as I expected. However, one particular security guy seemed to have some unknown problem with me. I was followed through the entire store with my wife -- who was carrying a Louis bag and wallet already, so obviously I'm a repeat customer -- by a security guard who didn't even try to hide it. He also kept his eyes on me, not discreetly, while I was talking to the salesperson and even while I was paying and walking out. I honestly don't know what his problem with me was but it was offensive. It turns a typically 5-star experience bad. I came back the next day and made a second purchase, and the same security guard treated me the same way. That unpleasant business out of the way, the salespersons that I worked with were outstanding as always. The store was well laid out and had a great selection and a great location. read more

One thing i do for a living is customer service and love when I go to a store is which has great customer service. I walked in today with my friend and felt out of place by the looks I got , don't get me wrong I am bald with tattoos so yeah maybe I look like trouble. So we end up with an associate by the name of MATIEO. He got all my 5 stars, but not only for customer service but by also knowing the merchandise that was compatible with my personality. My friend and I walked into this store and were greeted so kindly. I had knee issues so we asked if they had an elevator to go up to the second floor since that's where they had the bags I wanted to see. They escorted us to the elevator and once we got upstairs there was another sales person waiting to greet us. Our sales person's name was Federica and she was AMAZING!!! My friend and I ended buying several bags and Federica was SO nice and so patient. She explained the differences between the bags we were seeing, she offered us drinks, answered all of our questions, and she was just absolutely the best!! We told her we were from the U.S so she took the time to explain the whole taxes situation which we greatly appreciated. We had gone to a different Louis Vuitton store minutes prior and had THE WORST experience but Federica took great care of us.
