I was helped by Rita, she seemed restless and reluctant to help. I wasn't shopping for anything particular. I usually just buy an item I fall in love with. She came off as really judgmental when I asked for certain style. I had a cooking class to go within 30 mins and didn't want to walk with my purchase and wanted to come back. When I asked for the information sku code or link she refused to give it to me or let me take a photo so I could return to purchase. We shopped in Paris and our SA is not helpful at all. Today is our last day in Rome and we wanted to shop more so we yelped the closest Chanel and our GPS took us here. Waited about 10-15 min and got assigned to Marina. We requested to look at a lot of bags and she helped us with a huge SMILE regardless of us requesting items and having her putting it back. We ended up with a WOC and a pair of sunglasses, she gave us a card incase we come back next time so if y'all looking for best SA with best shopping experience then look no farther. I had a great time here, a special thanks to Gentjola who was incredibly helpful and sweet with my first Chanel purchase. There are two stores in extremely close proximity to each other, but I prefer this one, it felt more personal and friendly. Also, when you go in, be patient. They are insanely busy at both stores and people think because it's Chanel they should be able to demand immediate attention and service but when I went associates were literally bombarded and could not attend to everyone. One girl started throwing a fit and shouting is this not a Chanel store blahblah. I visited this store 3 times in 2 days to get the bag I wanted, a small classic flap in black caviar leather. I initially preferred silver hardware but they only had gold in stock and after thinking about it for a few hours I was a convert! The classics and black caviar are favorites and quick to sell out so if you see it I suggest you pick it up. I picked up the one in the afternoon they got in the morning. We were served champagne while we waited for my purchase to be wrapped up and while it took a bit of time because they were busy all the paperwork was in order and I also got the paperwork for the VAT refund. As a side note they use Planet Payment as their refund vendor and remember you need to get a customs stamp at your last point in the EU. I pulled stunts in CDG airport to get the stamp because that was my last stop but I'll pencil in an update once I receive the refund. Overall, highly recommend Gentjola and this store. read more

She was very kind and took her time to show my options for the purse that caught my eye. Worst ever shopping experience. You have to ask for help after entering the store otherwise no one helps you. They only have one machine for payment but with lots of stuffs. The efficiency is extremely low. Their stuffs are definitely without enough training. The worst thing about this store is their VAT partner. They choose to use Premier Tax Free (aka, planet payment) . With this scam company, you will never get your VAT back or they give you a 1:1 ratio between EUR and USD. This company shows the lowest level/standard of service and Chanel brand. It is a shame! I don't understand how people give this place 5 stars. Chanel is going down for sure. read more

Just came back from the Chanel store in Rome today. It was pretty disappointing, we went into the store and had asked about a different size for a particular bag that they had in stock, the lady who was supposed to assist us said she would look for it. 15 mins later we turned around and saw her standing by the front, when we looked over she turned to her co-worker and said "I'm not getting them the bag, don't feel like it". We walked out after hearing that. My wife and I had purchased multiple bags from Chanel in Japan, Paris, and New York. Our previous experiences had always been of the highest upmost quality. It's obvious to us that the employees in this store feel like they are better than their customers. Maybe they are letting it get into their heads, in real life they don't own the brand, they just work for it. They are retail employees somebody should remind them that the little Chanel fanny pack that they wear is part of their "uniform". This incident happened May 7th 2017 between 1 to 1:30pm read more

I have a good experience in Chanel Rome. The last Jumbo double flap caviar in black just sold so the kind SA called the other store and reserved the last jumbo caviar double flap. It's even better because the hardware was gold. You can also get your tax refund at the Spanish Steps. Just ask where it is. We went back shopping the following day and thanked the SA, he wanted to come home with us. I said sure. He jokingly asked permission from his manager. read more

I couldn't find any style I wanted at Florence, Italy, and so I tried the Chanel location in Rome. As I have mentioned in my previous review at LV Paris, ALWAYS tax free after purchase if you let them know when you get back to the states you purchased $$$. I could've bought my purse elsewhere but getting it in Italy feels more genuine than buying it at my local outlet store in Los Angeles. read more

After being extremely disappointed with the selection in Florence, I crossed all my fingers and toes and hoped that Rome Chanel would have the classic flap I've been waiting months to purchase. I waited until I was in Rome and called the store to do a stock check. They were out...OF COURSE! The women on the phone refused to take down my info to call me if the bag arrived and suggested that I come in. So I did as I was only 10 Minutes away and asked again to see any classic or boy flap items. The SA said it takes about 3 weeks for them to receive orders and it had only been 2 weeks since their last order so pretty much it was slim to none to get anything in this week while I was in Rome. I was heartbroken because I really wanted the VAT credit. After the SA took down my info, I asked if he had anything small for sale and to my luck, they had just received a few WOCs yesterday. We head down stairs and I try on the classic WOC and immediately feel in love with the bag. It was actually a more practical purchase since I almost never carry large bags and normally carry crossbodys. I actually had no idea this bag even existed since I was so sold on the flap bag. I walked away a happy customer but buyers beware, the minute you land in Italy, track down the item(s) you want and be prepared to be disappointed because the classic styles are so difficult to find and the only one this store had in stock was red croc in jumbo and it was like $60k. Oh Chanel.. Why are you always sold out of the classics? I was so stoked when I landed in Rome. I had cash in my wallet, credit cards on hand, ready to go all out designer shopping by the Spanish Steps. I did what I had to do in Prada, sent my sister on a LV mission, and rushed straight to Chanel before all the stores closed. Chanel was the only store to have disappointed me. Less of the fact that they had no classic items in stock, and only the seasonal ugly stuff in stock. More so because of the girl that lol.assisted me.lol. I showed her three styles of bags that I wanted only to find out that the store had none since all the bags I wanted were classics, but before I even opened my mouth to ask her to lead me to the shoe section, she said "ok, bye!" with the snootiest high pitched chicken voice ever. I literally pulled the New Yorker out of my ass behind my sweet phony smile and told her "did I say bye to you? Why did you say bye to me? Do I look like I'm done?".
