What a delightful find on a small side street in Roma. I wasn't looking for clothing when we walked by their window. The items in the window caught my eye but the folks inside are what really won me over. It is a small shop with wonderful staff. It felt like the woman who helped could have been my grandma. She suggested an item for my statuesque 6' tall and it made me feel the most beautiful I had felt in years! I even wore it out the door. Light and airy, it was perfect for the hot summer day. Such a cute boutique, I had to wonder in. The clothing, leather shoes, handbags and accessories are so unique - why don't we have shops like this back in the states? The stores in Rome are so fashionable and each offers their own take on items, meaning they create a collection that maps to the vibe they want to project. Everything is curated to match that vibe. Even better, when you purchase clothing they do alterations so the item fits you perfectly. It feels like a luxury but it's actually the way clothing should be made as no two people have the same shape. The leather shoes and especially the boots were gorgeous!! This is one of those lucky finds that happen to you after which you marvel at how lucky you were. Tatie Roma is a local store that carries leather accessories and shoes as well as clothing. I bought a pair of fabulously beautiful, comfortable, and very Italian high heel boots and two leather wrap belts for an incredibly low amount, all of which in the US would be about triple the price. Too bad this store has no branches in the US. I wear their boots almost half the year because of their versatility and comfort. They look unlike other boots I have seen and I always get compliments on them. The service was great. They tend to be a bit pushy but overall are very pleasant and attentive. Tatie Roma is absolutely worth a visit for those looking to buy reasonably priced great quality leather shoes and accessories while in Rome. read more

My experience of this cute little boutique was everything is eye candy. I knew that I had to stay within my budget and not exceed 400 Euro. I wanted to try everything in this store, great quality, a little trendy thou some pieces were classy. I bought a silk top that is flowy and beautiful which was $100 when it was converted and a fitted black leather jacket with fur trim and spent $500.00 Service, helpful and friendly sweet girls. Was walking by this shop and fell in love with a dress in the window. I could not believe how reasonably priced everything was and EVERYTHING was so cute! I also bought a gorgeous coat that's so cute and comfy for $35.00. I wish I could have squeezed more into my suitcase and I wish they had an online store. Love this place!! read more

BE CAREFUL THERE It could have been a nice shopping experience. I like the clothes they have. I appreciate they are affordable and Made in Italy. I already stopped there a couple of times. However I had a very bad experience last time when I visited this shop. I tried many items and at the end I bought quite a few things. However when I arrived home I discovered they put me a scarf that I even didn't try that had no label and a hole in it, they charged 10 Euros. I felt cheated because they kind of distracted me at the end and they didn't count the things in front of me. I asked to show me what they put in the bag so I could see that everything I wanted was there, but they didn't show me they put that scarf. That is why I want to warn you, Be careful at the check out. Look at the bill and the items they put inside your bag. read more
