They're prices could be priced far higher just because of the "Italian-made" label, but instead they choose to price their clothing for what they're actually worth. They're service is outstanding. They helped us find exactly what we wanted in our perfect sizes. They were also very honest when it came down to whether something fit. When we were checking out, they gave us a free scarf and pocket square because we bought so much. An important note for English-speakers: you'll feel very welcomed here because their English is very good. I loved my experience at Monsanto and I can't wait to return!

I discovered Dan. John, during a trip to Sicily…read more I happened to be there in July and every store had great sales- including Dan John. The customer service was excellent and I was impressed with how much stock they had on hand. I purchased at least 10 pieces of their athleisure wear and love it. Now that I'm back into the US and I've been wearing my purchases all the time, including to the office. I just wish I would have purchased more because there aren't many retailers in the United States that carry the same type of men's athleisure wear clothes with the great detailing and cut (and I purchased~10 items for 200 euros). What is interesting about their clothes is the sizing. Based on how I wanted different pieces to fit, I purchased various items from small to extra large. Lastly, I would compare them to Massimo Dutti, but with an Italian flair. I think Massimo Dutti is likely better quality, but time will tell. I'll definitely ship Dan John again, especially if I'm in Europe in July (

Lorenzo and his cousins Massimiliano and Stefano Paolo are the sixth generation of Gammarellis to run the shop, which has been located on the Via Santa Chiara since 1874, when the cousins' great-grandfather Annibale--grandson of Giovanni Antonio, the first recorded papal Gammarelli tailor--opened its doors. The Gammarelli showroom is a deep rectangle, fitted with glass counters and shelves in a dark, glossy wood. Along one wall are small wooden drawers with labels like "red skull caps" and "braided cinctures." Above the drawers is a row of photographs: Popes dressed by Gammarelli, from Pius IX to Francis. While you may think that they sell only to the clergy, they also sell socks to the public. . For years, Gammarelli have made beautiful silk socks, available in three colors - black for priests, purple for bishops, and red for cardinals. The shop is small but inviting. The staff was most welcoming. It was so nice to see where the garments for the clergy are made.

I've been searching for jeans for a long time and I'm very very specific about my jeans. Both my brother and I found our new favorite pairs jeans at this Monsanto. The employees at this establishment are very professional. They are very good at finding you exactly the size that you need and they're always happy to assist you. If you're like me and you're very specific about what clothing you purchase, you may feel a little pressured by them, but I found they weren't going to be too forceful. They just laid clothes out that would fit me, hoping I'd be interested. I love all of the clothes I bought from this establishment and I wish to return to Italy just for this store!

From the moment we walked in, they gave us dirty looks just because we were dressed comfortably after a long day of sightseeing. Instead of welcoming us, they followed us around the store like we were about to steal something. It was invasive, creepy, and extremely insulting. When I finally found a pair of pants I liked, I asked for my size. An older staff member looked me up and down and said, "you're size 46, we don't have it." Without even checking. I pointed out that there was a size 46 right in front of me, and his response left me speechless: "you cannot afford it, it's not on promo." I have never experienced such blatant disrespect in a store. To treat paying customers this way is absolutely disgusting. This place does not deserve anyone's business.
