I…read morehighly recommend the Clinica IPhone at Piazza San Silvestro and will return there again for service or to buy a refurbished phone. I visited to get my iPhone SE( over 5 years old) repaired, and even though a repair was not possible without having the problem very likely recurr, the technician at the store provided a workaround so my phone is back to being functional. And she did not charge me as she did not replace anything. And provided great advice on what to do for similar problems. I really can't phrase this any better than, I would really recommend them to a friend to help solve their problems

I travel a lot and apple computers have always gone with me...being carried in travel bags, packed in suitcases etc without any problems. I took the new M3 to México city to use while I was there. I set up on the dining room table to work and did so every day. on the 5th day I sat down to work and there were fine lines across the bottom and left side of the screen. it had been sitting on the table overnight... no one beside myself was near the computer. I figured something bad was up.. so I looked on the internet and there were many bad reviews of M 2 & 3 computers having the same problem broken screen with no provocation. I called Apple support and they told me to take it to an Apple Store to get the screen replaced. because no one touched it.. he said it would be covered under warranty. this was a senior technician that I spoke with at Apple support I was in Nice France by this time but was told there was not enough time to get a new screen before I had to leave. when I got to Rome... I went to the store on Via Corso. talked to a guy who set up an appt for me at 2 later on the same day . he repeated it 2 times. I came back at 2 and they told me I had missed my appt at 12:10!! there were almost no customers in the store so they said they'd fit me in with Daniel... who was very pleasant and helpful. However, he said that the problem was that I had closed the computer with something in between the screen which cracked the screens. I had not closed the computer ... it was open as I had left it for the previous 5 days. he said it was not covered by warranty and that I would have to pay approx $1200 CND + tax to fix it. This is a 6 month old computer. As I mentioned I have used Apple computers for 20 years ... travelling all over the world with them... never had a problem... doing exactly what I did with this computer. There is something faulty with this screen type if this same problem is happening with as many people as I see online. But another observation.... If I have opened and closed the many MacBooks that I have owned over these many years a combined total of thousands of times in all kinds of circumstances including dropping a MacBook Pro while running through an airport to make a plane connection onto a stone floor..which it flew across ..ending up open flat on its screen and still worked great with no damage...don't tell me that I might have closed it on some tiny thing that could have damaged the screen...who are u trying to kid... take responsibility for your flawed product and replace it for free. People reading this... do yourself a solid and do not buy this computer... it was $6000 + and now an additional $1200 ... and god knows this same problem could happen again anytime. I so regret buying it and am going to reconsider buying any Apple products going forward. Also, Apple please create a durable screen for your M2 and M3 computers that can stand up to regular usage as all your previous computers have. this is not okay. I am warning everyone I can about this, on every site that I can think of. This is a classic case of a huge company forgetting the very people who have made them successful.
