Just moved to the area and am looking for a local salon. This one isn't it. I walked in around lunchtime, the folks were friendly enough and asked what I needed. I have umbre nails in a vibrant pink and white, and needed a cut down and a fill. Note, the pink is NOT the pink commonly used for the nail style known as "pink and white." I told the lady that three different times but she still insisted on using the pink powder normally used for pink and whites. Now, my nail beds near the cuticle look like they have a bluish hue and the line where the "old" pink starts is prominent. I also had to file down the sides on almost of my nails to remove the excess she left behind, and file off sharp edges on the tips. Disastrous, and all for $45! What a waste of money and time. Choose a different location. read more

What a great experience! I selected this nail shop because of the rating. I was not disappointed. I got a pedicure and like others have said they pay attention to detail. The gentleman that did my pedicure did a great job I was very impressed he took his time and my nails look great. I booked another appointment two weeks later for a pedicure and a manicure. They welcome you when you walk in the door call you by first name and make you feel at home. If you haven't had a good experience And I suggest you try this place. read more

Amy did a lousy job on my manicure. Had to be told to cut cuticles. Did not buff or even apply hand cream. Nail polish was cakey and edges weren't cleaned. An appointment was made and yet I was still being serviced after other customers who had just walked in. Stay away from this business. It is awful! read more

One of the more decent nail places in Sanford. I was able to be seen right away, but had to wait while my manicurist did someone else's feet while my nails were soaking. Why are these places always so understaffed?? It was actually a interesting day, since the place was filled with girls getting primped before prom, so lots of entertaining conversations. My gel nails starting peeling off after 5 days, so that was unfortunate. read more

My sister and I made appointments for pedicures and got right in the same day. Amy did a regular pedicure for my sister and did an excellent job. I had C and he did a gel pedi for me and one of the best foot massages I've ever had. The chairs are fabulous too! The prices are competitive. We will be regulars from now on. read more

I am from out-of-state and was overdue for a pedicure. I walked into VN and they took me immediately. Sue did an excellent job, I had several nails that were borderline in-grown, which she cut for me painlessly. I got the pedicure that came with the hot stones massage. It was $5 more than what I pay in MA, but it had some extras like an organic scrub, a masque, and mango lotion. Overall an excellent experience. read more

I've tried a few places in the area, but no other place takes the time and care like Amy does to do your nails and create an enjoyable experience! She will give you expert advice, prices are fair, and your nails always come out beautiful. On top of that, she takes the time to get to know her customers. I can walk in two weeks between manicures or over 6 months and regardless, she knows your name and is genuinely excited to see you! She runs the business with her family and they are always quick to get you into a chair. I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for a walk in. My favorite place to pamper myself! read more

Smile and a hello every time you walk in the door. Great place, takes walk ins or by appointment. I've been going for over a year getting gel vs acrylic (they suck in general) and Amy is my girl but Sue is wonderful also!! :) I've never had any issues with my nails peeling off and they've actually last almost over a month before I could get back in for my next appointment. My only drawback is that they don't trim the cuticles (or file them if they want to cut them). But I like them since I keep going back month after month. read more
