They communicated well from start to finish, everything happened on schedule, and there were no surprises, all of which were priorities for us in pursuing this work on a fixed budget. We will definitely seek TGR out for our future project needs when they arise. Many thanks for the great work!

They seem like a nice enough organization; very pleasant people…read more But they are extremely disorganized and difficult to communicate with and (presumably) have a high turnover rate. We have had 3 different points of contact over 30+ months and each one would start out strong by reaching out and then completely ghost us. Text messages, emails go unanswered. So we've wasted *years* getting nowhere on the project. So no, I cannot recommend them because they've essentially done no work, though they charged us for "research" that we never received. Seeing the other reviews, I'm sure the owner will reply to this. Perhaps the shopworn response: "We cannot verify you are a customer with just your initials" as you have done with another. That's a weasly reply. Srsly. DeAndra, Anastasia, Madeline: those are the OHI production assistants we have been assigned over the years. Also, if you actually "welcome constructive feedback" then the *proper* response to this review should be "I'm sorry we fell short in this matter." Any statement other than this is unnecessary and meaningless. And do better.

A couple weeks turned into over a month because life happens and I recently sent him an email asking him if he was still interested or what happened or if he had anything for me from our meeting I don't know what happened but communication went to nothing and I feel like I was ghosted after our first meeting, which sucks because I was really excited with all the ideas that he had given me for a remodel of my kitchen that is not incredibly user-friendly at the moment.

He is fair, ethical and the quality of Advanced Construction's work was a 10! Not to mention we paid what we were quoted and not a dime more- a rarity in the construction/remodel world, it seems. They completed a large drywall project, removed a chimney and did a full bathroom remodel for our guest bath. We truly couldn't be more pleased with the results. We hope to get him and his team in for our kitchen remodel when we're ready to start this next big project and will be HIGHLY recommending this team! Thank you to Advanced Construction!!!

Michael was responsive and communicative, quickly notifying us of changes. He got the job done with high-quality standards and within a reasonable timeframe, despite delays and set backs. For example, in late Feb 2025 there was a significant snow/ice storm that delayed the project by 2 days. Michael showed up on the weekends to continue the job to try and make up time. He was consistent, reliable, and transparent. Another example: Our master bath floor was not level enough for the tile, and Michael was clear and open about what had to be done to get the job finished to a top-quality standard. It added a couple days to the timeframe (and some cost), but the final result was well worth it. Last example: The half bath toilet flange had several errors from the original build and contractor work, and the toilet we bought had a manufacturing defect (leak) we found after installing the toilet. Despite these obstacles and added time, Michael brought the flange to code, uninstalled the defective toilet, and installed the defect-free replacement. There were several curveballs with our job and Michael handled them professionally and courteously, making sure we were involved with every change decision along the way. We are thinking about hiring him for our second (guest) bath remodel, and wish him all the success a small business owner can have!

We were ghosted by one contractor and turned away by several others before we finally found Pluum Construction, and I'm so glad we did! As new homeowners, this was our first experience dealing with homeowners' insurance and we were overwhelmed to say the least. James was a phenomenal advocate in helping us understand the process and most importantly, working with our claims representative to ensure all of the repairs we needed were paid for. Altogether Pluum Construction ended up replacing half of our roof, our gutters, repairing and re-staining our deck, and installing new LVP floors throughout our home because our old floors couldn't be matched. All of the work was done beautifully! Now we feel like the tree falling was a blessing in disguise because it's like we got a surprise home renovation paid for by insurance. I really credit that to James putting in the time for repeated calls with our claims representative to explain what needed to be done to make us whole. James was extremely responsive and easy to reach through phone or text throughout the entire project. If I called him and he didn't answer, I would get a text right away letting me know he was on another call and would call me right back. His team was very friendly and we felt comfortable having them in our home. It's really obvious how much pride Pluum Construction takes in their work, and how much they care about their clients. James will be our first call next time we need a contractor!

I hired Alan to replace cedar shakes and do some finishing woodwork on the exterior of our home…read more We met Alan based on a referral from another home services company. From the beginning, Alan was methodical, communicative and prompt. He showed up to give us an estimate and answered my numerous questions about the job at hand. By the end of the same day of his initial visit, we had a detailed estimate in email, which we approved. Our house was remodeled in the past with uniqueness and quality materials in mind, but with 80% completion on many aspects. We needed a contractor who could help complete our unique vision. Alan replaced a large area of cedar shakes on the back of our home, helping erase the evidence of a decayed deck we previously removed. He also crafted a solution for a corner where the previous homeowner didn't seal up the house properly. Alan was organized and gave great attention to detail. He communicated his arrival and departures each day, and ended up finishing ahead of schedule. I am super happy with the level of attention that was paid to each detail of the job, and will hire Alan again for a future project.
