I am so amazed by how clean it is! usually other laundry mats the washers are dirty, everything is unorganized, the dispenser where you put the soap is dirty but this location is super clean i felt so comfortable washing here and i usually am skeptical. and also the staff is so friendly i had the pleasure of meeting Yulissa and she was so nice and respectful and friendly she made me feel so comfortable and good washing here!! I like this place. It's convenient when it's not packed. I like the bigger washer so they're a hit or miss. My only question and concern is why doesn't my detergent ever seem to work? No suds. I add enough and I never see any foam :( Instructions are to add soap before adding coins which makes me wonder if that's the problem. I've had times that my clothes smell nothing like detergent almost like they were just wet. Other than this issue, this place is perfect especially for younger women. This isn't something I do every day and they were very, very helpful there both times I was there. It's a little bit of a different skill set. And they have everything you need. Been here a few times so far this year, and there's always been someone walking around to clean/tidy up or to check whether customers need anything. Doors are open, fans are on for ventilation. Decent parking lot, so spots are usually available. Coin machine works, and price is competitive. Best part is they have a couple extra large washing machines that can fit comforters. I wonder whether specific machines could be assigned for pet-related items, so customers don't have to use those same ones for linens and clothes. But I guess that's a reality of using public laundry. Before you run the wash, I recommend you look inside the detergent compartments to make sure there's no residue from bleach or other cleaners from the previous person's wash. It'd be awesome if they clean these out once in awhile. Otherwise, it's been a good, reliable laundromat so far. read more

First time using the dry clean services here. I got 3 blouses and 4 dresses dry cleaned, all for a reasonable and affordable price of 41 bucks or so. I got a white blouse dry cleaned that had some gray marks on it (because I washed it instead of dry cleaned it previously) but after it got dry cleaned those marks went away! Revived my shirt I thought I ruined! I was pleasantly surprised it was back to its original condition. Very nicely done among the other blouses. I'm going to dry clean my other work clothes now. I just was referred to this cute laundromat by a friend in the area. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. I had some large Cal. King quilts to wash that my machines at home wont accommodate. She helped me figure out the machines, since it had been a while since I was in a laundromat. I was impressed by how clean it is kept. There is loads of space to fold all items large or small. I also appreciated the free Wifi. I will be going back for sure. I also will be bringing my dry cleaning here in the future. $3.00 to use hot water is expensive for me. I just moved to this area from LA and I haven't seen that price for hot water washing there. I'm just used to paying more if the machine gets bigger, and not if I use different water temperature. But hey, what do I know, right? Im not in this business and im just a customer. Also there was no sign that said "restroom this way". The only door i saw at the end of the hallway was the exit and one that says "employees only". You're telling me that you just started the business, so as a concerned customer.... my suggestions are... 1. Just because other laundromat charges for hot water, doesnt mean you have to follow suit. Do something different where customers will come back for your business. Sometimes to succeed you just need more customers and just the right price 2. Just like you said you're still doing a lot more things to make the place better. Dont forget the signs (temporary ones) to identify where the sink and restrooms are. Its good that you're planning to build a sink near the machines. I apologize if i caught your business in a bad time when i wrote my review here on yelp. I really do hope your prices go down a bit. So I absolutely LOVE this place. The washers and dryers are great. And they have Wifi. Yay!! The only thing that takes away one star is its size. It's really small. But other than that, I can't complain. It's clean and the attendants are really nice and helpful in the event that your washer messes up (i.e. too much soap, not enough water etc...) We just moved back to Carson and didn't want to drive to our old laundromat another city away and found this laundromat 2 minutes away, so it's also conveniently close. read more

My roommate turned me on to this laundry mat and I am so happy with the machines. Never have I used such wonderful washer and dryers. They are brand new and state of the art, better than any other laundry mat I have been too. I also think the prices are very fair. The laundry mat is always clean and I have never had a problem there. I rarely see an attendant but I have yet to have any trouble with a machine and need one. I have a washer and dryer at home so I only come to the laundromat to wash blankets. This particular day I come in and load my blankets, soap, scent boosters and proceed to pay. The machine was taking money without lowering the balance.. I let the attendant know and she seemed confused. Long story short, the manager (or maybe husband of owner) came and addressed the issue. He apologized and issued a refund for the money the machine had taken. He was very apologetic and understanding. I came back and the attendant told me he decided to refund my wash because he felt really bad. I am very surprised at the kindness of the employees/owners. I am very happy to support a small local business and I am proud to see that these owners are willing to stand by their business and machines and are able to identify problems and resolve. I've been to many highly rated laundromats, but Vivi's laundromat was the best laundromat I've experienced so far. All the positive comments on Yelp were true, so I will try not to repeat those comments and share only what hasn't been mentioned. I washed and dried 3 large Cal King synesthetic down comforters for around $10 total. But that's not the best part. I was literally there for only 5 minutes total, and that was because I had to put $6.50 worth of quarters (26 quarters) in their largest washer which was huge and held all 3 comforters. Then the owner Vivi offered to take care of them for me, meaning she would take them out of the washer when done and put them into the dryers then text me when the dryers are done as a free service. She also suggested that I use one large dryer for each comforter on low heat so that they will not burn. When she told me that, I knew she knew what she was doing because I had burned one of them in my own dryer almost a year ago, which is why I decided to clean them in a laundromat this time. She texted me when she put them in the dryers about thirty minutes after I left and said she will text me again in 30 minutes when they were done, which she did. When I picked up the dry comforters I inspected them and they were all clean and none had burn spots, including the one that I had burned in my own dryer almost a year ago. I asked her how is it possible that the burn spot washed out. Vivi smiled and said it was a miracle. When I tried to give her a tip she refused all 3 times, saying she was happy to do it. Man where do I start I found out about Vivi's on yelp when I needed an affordable laundry around the area. I read great reviews and wanted to find out for myself what it was like. It is pretty hidden in the corner of the parking lot with a bunch of nice stores to keep you fed and busy. From first glance I saw a paper posted about a free financial workshop of some sort so in my head I had the idea this place was going to be great if they cared about the community that much. It's a mid sized laundry. The laundry has dozens of washers and dryers. Clean. Up to date. All of them actually work! (Crazy I know). My favorite thing about the place though are the prices. They carry different load sizes. 25lb-55lb. Each differ ranging from as little as 1.50 to just 4.75!!! Dryers are 25 cent smaller is per 10, bigger dryer 8 minutes. My wife and I did a total of 18 loads of laundry and we only spend about $20 for wash AND dry!! You won't find many others in the area with prices like this if there are any. They have about 3-4 plasma TVs, some play the news, other play Netflix for entertainment. They have change machines, tables & chairs to sit. There's a great place for papusas, 7-11 and a great ice cream place if you get hungry. Another great addition you don't see in other places is the stamp card they have! If you go do laundry during any weekday you will receive a stamp and after 10 you get a free wash. Now is it for just 1 load or a certain dollar amount, I'm not really sure but getting rewarded for doing laundry? I'll take it!!! I highly recommend to anybody in the carson area and surrounding! P.s. a plus for dog lovers, the owner (or someone working) brings a dog that sits in the office and she is the most precious thing. She walks along side her owner occasionally saying hi to the customers around her and she's so sweet and friendly! So don't be afraid!! read more

I had visited this location years ago (different owner) and was not impressed. Never went back. I had no idea there was a new since its sort of hidden. The machines are new so they are not rough on the clothes when washing or drying. They have air conditioning which is great on those summer days! It's a reasonable price too not too bad! I came on a Monday morning and it wasn't too crowded but more people started coming in a couple hours. Didn't get too crowded though. The parking outside is shared with other small businesses, you can grab a snack at 7-Eleven right next door while you wait for your clothes to get washed. But from the moment we walked in Vivi welcomed my husband and myself with a friendly hello and ask if there was anything she could do to help us. I honestly was shocked cause I have not been to a laundromat in years and was not expecting this at all.
