Do not order from this place! I bought rotors for my GTR from their clearance items! They shipped me a rotor that didn't come with the special bolt and spacer that is supposed to come with the kit! My car has been down for 3 weeks now because of this! I couldn't install the kit without those missing items. All the people I talked to are useless! That customer support they have are people that don't know cars. Also everyone I talked to never got back at me which is their customer support! I had to call their manager Tiffany to help me out on my return but she keeps on insisting the kit doesn't come with the bolt and spacer because she doesn't know about the car parts and she gave me an attitude just because she wants me to believe she is right. So I asked her how do I install it then without those missing items and couldn't point me to the right answer. I told her I wanted to return it instead since I cant install it without those missing items. She told me they don't accept returns for line clearance items. I had to yell at her because I'm down 1000 bucks for a part I couldn't return. I had to talk to their director of operations Adam which agreed to me that it is supposed to come with that bolt and spacer but then they discontinued that item. Out of all 4 useless customer support I talked to and told me it never came with the part but only one guy that knows about the part they are selling that agreed to me which is Adam the director of operations. I had to beg to everyone I call to pass me to someone higher that knows about cars and I have to wait 20 min each time I fucking call!!!! When I spoke to Adam he said he will send me the bolt and custom cut me the spacer since they discontinued it and said he will call and make sure to fix this. He never called me not a single time and even not responded to my emails! I left him a voice mail on his phone still no response!!!! All these 5 people are talked to are useless!!!! I'm still stuck with a rotor that I couldn't use!!!!! I will never order from these place again!!! I messed up by throwing the fucking box the part it came with and they even want me to pay for the packaging of this part it came since I threw away the box!! PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I will make sure the GTR Community gets to see how shitty of a tuner shop this place is! You guys are responding with a generic response here on yelp but that's not gonna cover all the bad service you guys provide! No wonder this place have a bad review!! Check out the photo for the spacer and bolt it supposed to come with versus what I received! read more

I would give no stars if I could. Ordered a part never received it. Email and calling for days, getting hung up on continually. Then found out they were refusing to send my part until they received more money because they weren't making enough profit. Don't believe prices on their website, they will try to scam you out of more money and or waste your time. They don't care about the customer or ethical business transactions. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but I've had nothing but bad experiences so car with Vivid Racing. First I was sent the wrong part, Then they provided me the incorrect install instructions for the part sent(and didn't even have the correct install instructions), then they wouldn't allow me to return the un-installed part. Wasted a lot of time and money. read more

Before I left my review I glanced at a few of the reviews and am so surprised to see the negative ones tbh. I've been buying parts from them for years and yes there has been a few hiccups or delays along the way but it's to be expected in this business many of their products aren't just sitting on a shelf waiting and many things are custom build to order. In every case they handled my issues with the up most integrity. Maybe just maybe the issues might be the customers are just jerks in some of these reviews. I bet if you went on their reviews they probably left many other places negative reviews also. Some people are just always flustered and never happy that live for retaliation through reviews.. Vivid 6 stars will always call them first. read more

Only because I can't give zero stars. Long story going back to December of last year. They sent me the wrong wheel and then said it was the wheel I agreed to. Why would I order the wrong wheel and then complain about it. Stuck with a $1k paperweight. They won't try to help at all. read more

This company doesn't even deserve a star. Ordered an amp aftermarket step motor from them. After a month went by they still had no idea when the part was going to ship out. I ordered a exhaust for $1000tuat was on back order. I was willing to wait. slightly before I was expecting the order arrived at my house without any form of communication that it would be delivered. my roommate was in the garage and watched UPS drop off the package an leave. no one signed. i came home still in work attire an opened the package to find it was badly damaged and poor packaging. I complained immediately on the web site an then imm called an spoke to customer service. they started a return and I waited for further instruction. after no communication I reach out to be told that I was suppose to file a shipping claim and that someone signed for it with my name. impossible because only my roommate was there and said he didn't sign for anything. didn't even know what it was. if I was suppose to file a shipping claim then why did they start the return knowing the issue and why wasn't I informed. so they started the claim an asked me to wait for further instruction. after waiting an no communication I emailed to inquire and no reply so I called and they said they would call me back. I received a email saying I didn't have to call, I should have emailed (I did) and that they were waiting for approval on the claim which I wouldn't know because no communication. my gf called me at work to say ups is here to pick up a package. no one told me it was getting picked up so I wouldn't have known. she sent it back and i waited. I emailed and waited and they said they were still waiting for a acceptance by them for the claim an it could take 7-10days. I'm still waiting. I have called and been hung up on after waiting over an hour by customer service because she didn't want me to talk to another associate when I asked. I was hung up on after 20mins of waiting just now. I have sent several emails the past few days with no reply and I have no product and I paid and no response from anyone and no communication except to wait. it's been months. I believe I placed my order in January. if the shop gets this hopefully they make it right with me because this was the worst experience I ever had and I have shopped with them in the past an I order offline all the time from all over the world. read more

Back on September 25, 2023 I bought a delphi Fuel pump for my 2016 Audi S4. Normally, when you buy part on any website that it's sold on, it will tell you if there are modifications that need to be made or if you needed other parts included for it to work, but in this case, there was no mention on Vivids website that says you needed any additional parts to install the fuel pump properly. After having it installed by a very reputable mechanic shop, I immediately got a check engine light which you was strange given that I just had a full service done on my car and I didn't have any fuel pump issues installing the new delphi pump. I started getting error codes stating my engine was running lean on bank one and two and in case anybody doesn't know what that means basically, if you don't get this addressed immediately, you can melt a piston because of the massive amount of heat buildup. it back to the mechanic shop where I had paid to have it fully checked once again. they couldn't find what the corporate was at which point I contacted and spoke to a manager at Vivid Racing who told me they had to do a bleeding procedure and to make sure the fuel lines were all straight. The shop I was working with followed the exact protocol to no avail. I contacted Vivid again and spoke to another representative who told me I needed to contact the manufacturer of the pump which I obliged where I spoke with Delphi representative Bella who told me that when a customer has an issue with a part, it Hass to go through the third-party that you bought it from and they will contact the manufacturer and found it strange that they were forcing me to contact the manufacturer myself. I then spoke to parts manager Bailey and explained the predicament I was in, and I told her it was not right for how I was being treated for there was no mention on Vivid's website stating that I needed to add additional parts or that my engine would be running lean if I installed this pump. I informed her I had already spent thousands of dollars for mechanics to try and diagnose what was going on at this point it's already been over a month I've spent thousands of dollars for a $450 pump that is destroying my car. Then we will send you a new pump and supposedly they contacted Delphi. I then contacted who works at Delphi and asked her did anyone from Vivid contact Delphi she said no we have no record and the pump didn't come from us. It came from a third-party distributor and there's no proof to tell if the part that I bought was even new or not. I asked bailey who initially said it came from Delphi and they had talked to them directly, but then proceeded to say no I never talked to Delphi nor did it come from Delphi but a third-party distributor where she couldn't tell me the name. Then said I could return that but I told her it was on my car and I'm not going to pay to have my car sit at a shop for God knows how long since I have to have it towed, so can you send me a new one and I will send you another one back, they told me I had to pay for a second pump now I'm short $900 . I had the second one installed and what do you know same story where are my car is running lean. Fast forward to today December 11. It's now been more than two months. My car is not starting properly. I have check engine light and false and possibly more damage internally to my block because of a stupid pump and negligence from this company who has zero accountability that they did not properly state, on their website that this was a problem . I spoke to a representative today and neither she nor Bailey wants to take any accountability or acknowledge how I've spent $5000 on a witchhunt to figure out what the hell is going on with my car when the corporate is a pump that is not meant to work on my car. to the point I contacted APR performance integrated engineering as well as Another tuning shop in New York, and all of them said the same thing an ECU tune would not fix the issue, and that I would have to go back to a factory pump. I contacted Bailey three times via phone and email and she never responded to any of them. I contacted Vivid again today where I was told initially she was only going to refund me for a single pump and after a great deal of back-and-forth she said depending on the integrity of the pump we'll see if you'll get a full refund so now it's not even guaranteed. Now I have to buy a factory pump and once again have it installed to eliminate the fault. I've never encountered a more deceptive classless organization than Vivid racing and even after all this wouldn't give me a discount on buying a factory pump nor were they going to compensate me for having to pay for another install. After spending well over $5000 to try and figure out what is going on with my car is there anyway I'm going to be reimbursed for all the hell this company has caused me and the damage they caused my car of course not all I got was a tough luck. read more

TLDR: If you have a problem, you will have to refute the charges with your credit card because their support people won't help and the manager "isn't available". 11/18/20 I decided that it was time to order my ECU for the Miata track build. I decided to go with Megasquirt PNP to make my life easier. The only problem with that is the price. It's spendy. That said, the price from VividRacing was a tick better than most, so I went with them. What a colossal mistake. 11/27/20 It wasn't until 11/27 that I got the note from them my order was being fulfilled. Apparently it was being dropshipped from DIYAutotune. 11/28/20 I got an email telling me that my order was delivered. Incorrect. I emailed VividRacing. 12/1/20 I got a reply saying that my order wouldn't ship until 12/9. I reached out to the vendor and they let me know the product should ship on Dec 09. "I just wanted to say thank you for your business. I know I hate waiting for stuff but I'm sure this order is worth the wait. Let us know if we can help out with anything else. I did set a reminder to follow up with the vendor before that date to get another update/shipping info. Hope you have a great day, Brooke 12/2/20 I replied back asking how long shipping would typically be. 12/3/20 Mary J replied saying 3-5 days. 12/9/20 Brooke replies with a tracking number. 12/22/20 UPS reports that the package has been lost. This is where things really fall apart. All of the automated VividRacing emails are signed by a person named Adam Dolan with a "if you have any questions, email me directly." So I reply back letting "Adam" know that the order was lost by UPS. I also opened a ticket through their support site. 12/30/20 Finally, 8 days later get a response from the ticketing system. They're asking for details about UPS. They say "Usually we wait until we hear if the claim was approved than we would order a replacement. Claims are taking 7-12 days right now." I reply back saying it was on 12/22. 12/30 - 1/7/21 We go back and forth a few times. They don't have anything in their system, I fill them in on what's happened (UPS lost package). 1/12/21 I get a reply back saying that they are having supplier issues (obviously since it was drop shipped). They say their vendor has spoken with UPS, that the claim has been filed & it is still under investigation. They say it can take some time unfortunately. I thank them for the update, tell them that I will stay patient but also reiterate that the claim was filed 3 weeks ago and that the order was placed nearly 2 months ago. 1/26/21 I've heard nothing, so I reply back asking for an action plan to resolve the issue. 2/2/21 I've still heard nothing so I follow up again. 2/3/21 Figuring that support is probably not able to resolve this, I reply back to the same thread, copy in "Adam", "Dan", and sales. I recap what's happened, add my phone number, and request someone to call me. 2/7/21 I see that VividRacing is actively posting on Instagram. So I comment on a picture asking if they are still in business. If so, why they haven't taken care of 2 month old order. 2/8/21 I get a message on Instagram asking for an order number so they can look into it. I give it to them. They said I should hear back "soon" by email. I ask if there's a person I can ask for a number I can call. This person says I should ask for "Elyse". 2/9/21 I call their support number. I wait on hold for 20 minutes. No one answers. I try a different number in the phone tree, I get the operator's voicemail box which says to expect a call back in an hour (bullshit). I leave a message for "Elyse". Never got a call back. 2/11/21 I used the online chat to see if I could get some information. I was told that the situation would be sent to the manager. Yeah, thanks. I immediately tried calling the support number again. This time opting for sales support. After 15 minutes of holding, I almost gave up but someone finally answered. The woman who answered looked up my order and quickly put me on hold. A few long minutes on the worst hold music ever, she came back and kind of fumbled for words as she told me that the manager was unavailable right now and that I should email him. I asked if he was responsive by email, she said yes. She gave me his email address.... the manager is Adam. The person who has been cc'd on emails going back nearly 3 weeks. I asked for his cell, she wouldn't give it to me. I thanked her and hung up. I sent one final email to Adam saying that I'd take it up with the credit card company that evening. I waited until the end of the day, as promised, and refuted the charges with my credit card. They now have 35 days to respond to the payment processor, but for now, my funds are back in my account and I've ordered my ECU from another vendor. Goodbye, VividRacing. You suck. read more

I purchased a product from Vivid for the price shown on the website. I received the confirmation of purchase and thought I was fine, four days later I called because I hadn't received a tracking number of shipping confirmation. I asked about the price on the website, this was 4 days later, the price still hasn't been updated and I told them I think they should have informed me sooner, since I had already paid, and they hadn't contacted me for anything, not shipping, not for the price increase. Customer service has been no help, I've been hung up on and dismissed many times. I think it's false advertisement... what if I had never called??, would they have called me eventually? I ordered a set of headers for my C63 AMG back in May 2020. The product took about 6-7 weeks to build and ship out, which was fine and expected. However, my package was lost by UPS and Vivid Racing has refused to refund my nearly $3,000 purchase despite UPS's investigation determining that the package was lost and a claim was issued to the manufacturer. I have been given nothing but the runaround from this company with excuses as to why they cannot refund me yet. Additionally, I confirmed with UPS that the package was not addressed to my address, yet the company still refuses to refund me. This company keeps telling me that they will have this resolved by the end of the day but it's been literally 4 months since I have been dealing with this. The company also keeps mentioning that they haven't received money from the manufacturer, but that is not my issue to deal with and my refund should not be held hostage because of an issue with UPS and another company - that is their issue to deal with UPS and the manufacturer that built this product, not mine and it's absurd that my money is being held hostage. This company does not stand by their product or their customers. I have emailed the owners of the company twice explaining the situation and never got a response that this is being taken care of. Vivid supposedly has a 30 day money back guarantee on their products, however, I never received mine and I've been out of a refund for 4 months. I have even filed a complaint with the BBB with no progress being made to expedite the process. Unfortunately I cannot dispute the charge on my credit card as it is outside of the 60 day window. UPS has confirmed that the claim on this has been paid out and I STILL have yet to receive my refund. Stay away from this company at all costs. Absolutely horrible customer service and I will make sure this review gets posted on all the Mercedes/Porsche/BMW/other exotic forums. This has gone too far and there's absolutely no valid reason or excuse as to why this company hasn't refunded me yet. read more

Do not do business with this company. I ordered a tool, received a "shipping confirmation" email, and then received nothing. They also charged me $20 more than the total they gave when I ordered the tool. After a month of nothing I tried reaching out to them, which is difficult because their published customer service number does not work and it's impossible to leave a message or reach a customer service agent. I e-mailed them and got a vague e-mail saying that "they were waiting for an update on my order and would get back to me when it shipped." Further communications have been ignored and my requests to cancel the order have been ignored. I've had to resort to taking the matter up with my credit card company. Near as I can tell, this isn't even a real business and might be a scam operation. read more

If I could rate lower than 1 I would. Right from the start your company dropped the ball and never ever tried to pick it up. I placed my order on 2/26/21, called on 3/5 for a status update and was given the run around... I got a call back on the evening of the 5th and was asked for more money for shipping because the item was larger.... no kidding you know what I ordered when I placed the order... this should have been a red flag but I reluctantly added more funds and was told my order would be expedited... On 3/10 I got an email saying that my order was confirmed and that it would ship within 10 business days. I was disappointed in the delay but hopeful I would have my item. On 3/25 I called and waited on hold for nearly an hour to try to get my tracking number and was told it is in process and someone would get back to me... no one did. Called again on the 29th and given the same garbage... I proceeded to call and email numerous times over the next few weeks getting the same idiotic scripted answers saying that the tracking number will be sent... Frustrated I did what I should have done in the past... I called Precision Porsche who was the manufacturer of the wing for an update... after going back and forth for considerable more time I was able to determine that my wing was crated and ready for shipping on 4/7 but no one from Vivid provided shipping info to the vendor until 4/15 which is when my wing finally shipped...
