100% RIP OFF ARTIST BUSINESS Absolutely worst customer service EVER, ordered a part on December 3RD and paid for next day/ 2 day shipping they took 8 days to drop ship my item so took 10 days to get injectors I needed. Due to their lack of processing my order I purchased items I needed elsewhere. When Item was finally delivered, I drove to their location in person on the 17th of December and returned them in person unopened in original packaging. They took item and said they would email me and refund, WHICH THEY DID NEITHER. I then tried calling with zero luck and zero return calls either, so I then drove to location again on January 4th to get a signature on my invoice that now says returned and was told again I'd be refunded. Guess what NO REFUND AGAIN, so now I disputed with Paypal and my Credit card. To my surprise they took the time to provide tracking to both showing items were delivered so they could continue to keep MY MONEY. So now it has been 53 days since I PHISICALLY returned parts UNOPENED IN ORGINAL SHIPPING BOX and I still have NO MONEY RETURNED. So now I'm refiling dispute with credit card company TO TRY AND GET WHATS OWED TO ME, MAYBE DAN NEEDS TO PULL HIS HEAD OUT OFF HIS BUTTHOLE AND GET SOME EMPLOYEES THAT CAN ACTULLY DO THEIR JOB... read more

I purchased a Agency Power Exhaust System from Vivid Racing for my 2009 Porsche Boxster S 987 Gen II with DFI. A representative from Vivid Racing stated it fits this specific make and model vehicle. Turns out it does not, fitment is different for Gen I and Gen II cars. I contacted Agency Power and received confirmation about this from a rep named Matt Jobin, "We have not installed one of these on a 987.2. This is designed to fit the first Gen 987" I had the exhaust professionally installed and the installer modified the exhaust for fitment (shortened the pipe leading into the resonator) This of course makes my problems with the product more complex. The installer made the fitment without my knowledge, however the product should have never required specialized fitment. My complaints: The exhaust has signifiant drone and reverberation, it is not fine for daily driving as advertised by Vivid Racing. Additional cost I incurred for installation, an additional 1.5 hours of shop labor time. I contacted Dan Mermelstein from Vivid Racing who was very unhelpful and shrugged the issue off, stating I received a discount on the exhaust (apparently discounts mean no customer service) and that the exhaust is modified and no longer his problem. This is their problem as their sales rep stated it fits Gen II cars when in fact it does not. The exhaust was incorectly advertised and therefore certainly Vivid Racings problem. Further research shows that Vivid Racing and Agency Power are the same company. Under no circumstance should this exhaust have been sold to a 987 Gen II owner when Agency Power had never even tested the product on the vehicle. I am very displeased with the customer service and how the issue has been handled by both companies. I would recommend anyone considering purchasing from Vivid Racing make your decision carefully as they will not provide you acceptable service if you have issues with their products. read more

These guys sent a false email pretending that an online order was placed in my name through a media marketing company called Mobilestorm. Initially I thought virus, then I was worried a poor customer might have incorrectly entered their info so I pursued the link to find it was an april fools joke. As a 15 yr IT veteran, this kind of spam from Vividracing.com really concerned me. Not only did I not sign up for this email, but I've never done business with them, much less ever heard of them before....nor do I get spam on this email account. This is NOT ok, and it's NOT good business practice! Here's the email: Dear Vivid Racing Customer: We truly appreciate your business! I needed a single RC injector urgently. I placed an order on Sunday night and paid $40 for overnight shipment. Monday morning comes and I get an email asking if I wanted a single injector or was it placed by mistake. I appreciated that they were following up with me to ensure I was getting the right thing and I promptly confirmed with them that only 1 is needed. Monday ends with no tracking number, I send an email asking for an update, I get a reply on Tuesday afternoon stating that my order is being processed. Tuesday ends with no further progress. Now it's Wednesday and I send another follow up email in the morning, I do not get a reply until Wednesday afternoon informing me that they typically process their order within 24 hours and was given a link to their "policy". The CSR also offered to discount my shipping cost and ship the item ground? Typically when someone orders something overnight and willing to pay the cost, it usually means that the item is needed urgently. However this seem to escape the CSR rep. So now it's Thursday and I don't foresee anything happening as I expected the injector on Tuesday in time to prep my car for tuning on Friday. I have asked for a refund and will never do business and recommend everyone stay away from HPF, Vivid Racing and whatever company they own. Cliff Notes: If you need something urgently, look elsewhere, do not waste your time with these guys. read more

I was looking for Progress anti-sway bar for an 05 Scion xB. After a few days of intense internet searching and calls, it was apparent that Vivid Racing had the cheapest price and moderate delivery time. My problem was that the website wasn't working properly and it wouldn't allow me to ever finish placing an order. They kept sending emails offering free shipping because my orders kept being cut off, but what good is that if i can't place the order? I called to inform them about the issues and try to make an order over the phone. First, every extension from the automated menu was busy! I finally spoke to someone and they "transferred" me over to the proper department. I was on hold for over 20 minutes. My assumption was that it was during a lunch hour, but that wouldn't justify the lack of service to such a degree. Then, I called back and once again NO ONE answered for any of the extensions, even the guy i previously spoke with. I decided to email the company and explain the situation. Oddly enough, I got a respond within 2 minutes from someone asking to call them directly. He did apologize for the website issues and took my order. He even had me wait for a second so that he could verify that the part was in stock rather than blindly putting the order in. This guy really tried his best to make up for the whole thing. He even honored the "free shipping" when i brought up the previous emails. By the way, the shipping was going to be about $20 extra... which is more than the website (estimate) had been. That being the case, i made sure i was compensated for my troubles. I got my free shipping. I wish it had been a much better experience. read more

orders wheels from Vivid Racing after selecting my car year make and model, twice. Once shopping on the Vivid website and then again during checkout. They still sent rims that would not fit our car. Then it took weeks to get replies regarding these issues, because they are so backed up. Not a surprise they are backed up since there web site is set up to mislead people. So I get to pay for shipping the wheels twice. What a scam! read more

Ordered a set of spark plugs and only received 1 spark plug. When I questioned it they said I ordered 1. I'm not going to pay 31.00 for 1 plug. They said they sent the other 3 out. I received yet again 1 plug. Now can't get a response. read more

I have an older Dodge Ram (2007) with 300K miles. I wanted to refresh the look a little with a new set of rims. being 2022 the wheels I ordered were not in stock and the manufacturer had no estimate as to when they would be, of course this was frustrating. Daidrian at Vivid helped me select some wheels that fit, we're the color I wanted and the right price & style similar to what I had ordered originall. we corresponded several times via email and a couple of phone calls too. This is a 2021 Bronco the vehicle they are advertising all over. Any thinking person would recognize that the people buying their product. Should come first. I've dealt with dozens of shops for aftermarket products and my experience with Vivid Racing has been nothing but stellar. They are honest and upfront, even if that means not wanting to sell you the product that you may have originally asked for. Everyone in that building is an enthusiast and if they don't believe in the product, and are not willing to stand behind it, they won't sell it. That doesn't mean that every transaction is flawless, and that every product they sell is perfect,...but it's the way that a shop supports you after that sale that means the most. The owners are definitely reasonable people, very understanding, and I've seen them bend over backwards to keep customers happy. I am personally surprised by a few of the negative reviews that I have read, and knowing that there are THREE sides to every story, I'm willing to bet that there's some missing information about possible solutions/resolutions that were offered. I would definitely buy from them again, and refer friends with confidence. read more

I purchased wheels through AFFIRM/KATAPULT finance from VIVID RACING, and come to find out they didnt have them in stock (kinda weird, why does it say in stock and why do you take my money if they arent in stock) so i had to go through the lengthy process of cancelling which took over a week. Then I went to order another set of wheels and I was trying to reach out to them and ask them if they had 3 different sets of wheels in stock and the ones they did i would buy. Well I had barely any help, I got like one or two replies over a day period only to answer one of my questions so i just ordered some anyways. Well Then i went to another company and not only were they cheaper but they were on point with customer service and prompt with getting back to me and being polite so I went to cancel from VIVID racing again and they said they cancelled, I contacted Katapult and they said they said a confirmation to VIVID but they havent heard back... well its been over a week almost 2 and ive reached out several times through phone, email, and chat message to get them to confirm the cancel with Katapult so I get a refund and they havent responded. The wheels were even shipped and i rejected them... I figure the only way to get their attention now is to start leaving reviews on every single site possible... read more

I called in to speak with Customer Service, was on hold for about 20 min only to be disconnected. Called back in and was on hold for 10 min and then disconnected again. Had to call in a third time and leave a message. I'm not complaining about the wait times, I understand there are lots of customers. But being dropped twice was a bit frustrating. However Tanner Carver messaged me updating me about my shipment. He was prompt in his responses and his customer service was excellent. If it weren't for Tanner, I would not be giving 5 stars. I'd give 4.5 stars just because of the unpleasant dialing system but Tanner made up for it. I would just suggest Vivid to replace your dialer vendor. Other than that, you guys have great products at great prices. And give Tanner a raise! He deserves it. :-) read more

Long time customer! I've been dealing with the guys at Vivid since I moved to AZ in 2002. Dan and Rob were working out of a small shop back then and offered great service and recommendations for my cars. Things have improved for Vivid over the past 9 years and now they're in a state of the art facility with a large staff. One thing hasn't changed though, I still get the same great service and personal attention that made me a loyal Vivid customer in the first place. My most recent experience was with my 2011 WRX. I purchased the car new and contacted Dan regarding some potential upgrades. At no point did Dan try to up-sell me or get into a range of products that I didn't feel comfortable with. The prices for the products he recommended were fair as was the labor to install them. What I value the most about Vivid is that they are TRUE enthusiasts. Not only will they give you great prices and service but you will also see them out there on the weekends supporting the local car community either through sponsorship or participation or, in some cases, putting on their own events. How many of the internet guys are out there supporting our hobbies? Too many companies only want to take but the guys at Vivid always seem to giving back! read more

I recently bought a 99 Eclipse GST and needed some axles since they were busted. After doing some research I decided on some Driveshaft Shop axles. After doing some more research I decided to buy them from Vivid Racing because they had a great price but they were a custom order so it would take about 2-3 weeks. They have a cool feature where you can place an order trough text! I ended up texting with Austin and placed the order. The axles ended up taking about 6 weeks to ship but it wasn't Vivid's fault. The Driveshaft Shop lagged on my order. I would email Austin every week asking for an update and he would get back to me pretty quickly. I would definitely do business with them again. Updates: Well it turns out that a distributor (HP Motorsport in Chicago) was involved and they were not doing their part of the updating from Vivid Racing and therefore i didnt get my filter information. In all, i strongly believe business integrity and great customer service will earn many fans. My apology for Vivid Racing for the below comment. Thanks Jade for clarifying things up. STILL i do not have a filter :) Customer service is extremely bad. I placed an order for a GruppeM filter in early Jul. During the process (before payment), they responded to every question i had. Right after the day i paid for the item thinking that i will get this item with a week, the responses stop. I emailed and called about my item if it has been shipped yet. No response....Now is end of Jul. I dont even get a response or confirmation. They redirected me to another GruppeM authorized retailer. Same problem....So basically, they are blaming each other for the item not "available" or no update for the shipment!!! Seriously!?!?! Its over 200 dollars filter!! Stay away from them. read more
