Bought some new parts to install on my car. I get an email that a part was unable to ship to my state and that I would get the other part with a refund. Didn't get a refund in a week and sent in an email. The next week I was told it would come in by the end of the week. It has been over 2 weeks since I got my refund and customer service takes AGES to reply. Definitely never shopping at this place again. GIVE ME MY REFUND! read more

Buyer beware from this company. I ordered a product from this VIVID RACING and had a confirmed purchase from an in-stock sale item. I also called several times to get updates on my order. I was then sent a waiver to be filled out before they would ship my confirmed order. After filling this waiver out, I emailed again to check the status of my order. I was then told that my item was not available and that I could purchase another updated product for much-much more and I would get a 15% discount on the MSRP for my trouble. They even offered me an even more expensive option and told me that this would be my best option. I believe that I have been a part of a Bait and Switch scam from this company. The item is still on their website to order, weeks after my initial order from this company. So, the question I ask is, how is an item not available if you can still order the same item from the website with no out-of-stock notice? My payment has not been refunded, nor my product delivered. Unfortunately, I believe that this is a common practice from this company because the same that happened to me with another item, I tried to purchase with them years ago. I still have chat transcripts from that order as well as the transcripts from this order. The only reason I ordered a product from VIVID RACING this time because I decided to give them another chance of redemption because the last issue with this company was such a long time ago. But I was wrong and this may be a common practice for this company because of the similarity. I tried to reach out to management to no avail. My chats with them online were disconnected and my calls never responded. My account was even deleted several times to prevent me from checking my order status. I even tried to contact the owner via LinkedIn and was told by him that my issue could not be the truth. I would like this to stop happening for me and for potential other customers that will not report these actions. read more

Whatever you do stay far away from this company. This company does not care about their customers. I ordered AMP Powerstep Mounting Hardware Kit, AMP Powerstep Replacement Motor, and a AMP Powerstep Harness at the end of March. Hardware Kit was special order (made for each order) ETA: June 10th, Replacement Motor was backordered ETA: June 7th, Harness was delivered early April. Mind you I paid for 2 day shipping. I call every now and then to check the status, ask about delays, nothing, still expecting June 10th and 7th respectively. June 7th, no update with a shipping notice for the motor. I call in to see what the problem is, oh that won't be shipped out until the end of June? The hardware kit, which I couldn't find anywhere else, still set for June 10th, ok. June 10th, no update... I call in again. Oh, next week... a week comes around. You are starting to see where this is going. Sometime in July I found a motor on Amazon so I canceled the replacement motor. August 1st, 2024, Oh, your hardware kit is now discontinued, we will be cancelling your order and refunding you your money. I am an ERP consultant by trade, my area of expertise is manufacturing, inventory control, and warehouse and distribution. I have consulted on projects for Fortune 500 companies and seen all manner of inventory practices that should have never been put in place and I would still say that this is one of the worst experiences I have ever even heard of. Mind you I never received an email or a call. I only got updated when I called them. If I could give them 33% of a star I would solely because that is what I received of my original order. In all honesty they wouldn't deserve that, but 5 months and $350 later, all I have to show is $250 and powersteps that are still not on my truck. read more

I purchased a plug and play tune for my CanAm X3. The mapping has bugs. Contacted customer service to get some help/give some feedback. They ghosted me. Said they would talk to the tech team and get back with me. No dice! Horrible experience on a return! sales management held my PayPal refund purposely! Communication is lacking, but many of their reviews show this to be a pattern. Poor at best. read more

I guess I'll add to these terrible reviews as this is a testament to the character of this company. I loaned my car for them to do r&d on an intake system they were making for their store brand. They fitted the system in my car, a vw mk7 gti and away I went. Months later, they had a revised one to try out, so I returned and they fitted revision 1. Away I went, driving in stop and go traffic I began to smell coolant. Sure enough, I received a phone call from vivid saying they thought they left the coolant reservoir cap off. I replied that explains the smell. I immediately pulled into a gas station and shut it off. No warning lights or overheating. Vivid brought me a replacement cap, (thanks for that) and I headed to the closest auto parts. As soon as I got on the road, low coolant warning... which quickly turned to overtemp. I coasted to a target. Bought a gallon of premix coolant and filled the reservoir to get home. Compatible with all engines the premix was labeled. After I got home and checked the owners manual, apparently nothing is compatible with vw coolant. The manual warned of everything from internal failure to foreclosing on your house if you dare contaminate their coolant. I wasn't looking for anything but a coolant flush by vw. $170.00.... they said they did enough by buying the cap. Make it right is all I asked for. They declined. So the moral of the story is..... does anyone wanna buy a mk7 air intake soon to be on the market?.... read more

I purchased a file to enhance my vehicles performance from Vivid. It ended up being garage. I tried working it out with customer service with no luck. I definitely wouldn't recommend this company. 2014 dodge ram ecodiesel. read more

The worst!!!!! I used vivid racing for the first time ever, and i will never use it again! Order was placed almost 2 months ago and they still don't know when the item will be shipped, everytime i call, they say we have to contact the manufacturer. If an item isn't available, then simply dont show it on your website or at least put "currently unavailable" before you scam people and let them pay!!! read more

This company is probably the worst company I have ever delt with. Their communication is horrible. They will send you an incorrect part and never refund you..even after they get their wrong part back, they just keep your money. I'm fairly certain this site is a scam. read more

I purchased a 2015 Scion xB hood bug deflector back in December and shipping was pretty fast but FedEx damage the item. It wasn't until 90 days later I received my hood deflector. Customer service representative and the lead provided numerous reasons why I don't have my replacement. For me customer service is extremely important and even though the part was a great product, I don't recommend this company. read more

Our whole family has been using vivid racing for over a decade for the many Porsche's we have all owned. The few times we have almost purchased tunes or parts at a few of the other well known Euro performances shops I'll just say it wasn't the same experience as dealing with mike or Alex so we always stick with vivid now. They have our families business for life. read more

Once these guys get your money it is incredibly difficult to get them to do anything. Shipping times are incredibly slow because they say stuff is "in stock" but it's really just being dropshipped from the manufacturers. I have been waiting 3+ weeks on $500+ in refunds for items that were never shipped, the rep I've communicated with never returns my emails or calls. Their phone system is incredibly annoying, you have to listen to their CEO be a douche about you being on hold because he says he's more interesting than Mozart. Only department worth anything is their refund department, they are actually fairly responsive and have gotten stuff done for me. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. Ordered a product that never shipped, spoke with customer service, they said they would look into it and get back to me. They never got back to me. I reached out a week later, they indicated it would ship on xx/xx. Well, xx/xx came and went and nothing shipped. I reached back out 2 weeks after said "shipping date" and still nothing, but they'd look into it and get back to me. They never got back to me. A week later I said to cancel the order and refund my purchase because I'm never getting the product I guess. The customer service rep indicated my refund would be processed within 7 business days. Great; transaction over. However, A couple hours after that customer service rep indicated my refund would be approved - I received an email indicating the refund was denied and my product has shipped. So 1. It looks like they only wait till you try and cancel the order for a refund to actually ship it, and 2. I'm so sick of this company I don't want the product anymore - I told them to cancel the shipment - which they said they couldn't do - and are now charging me to return the item. read more

Wide selection, great prices, knowledgable staff! I had been going back and forth for the last week on some upgrades and decided to hop on and chat with a VR rep through their online chat. I was working with Austin Smith who really helped me decide what to go with.I let him know about an item I was ready to purchase from another online store and he price matched to make it easy for me. Not once did Austin make me feel stupid for asking questions since I'm new to tuning. I will definitely continue my purchasing going forward with Austin and the VR team! I too work in sales and always appreciate great sales advisors. Thanks for making it easy to shop! read more

Not too happy w Vivid Racing's customer service. I purchased a tow hook for my car. The wrong unit was shipped to my home. It was implied that the correct unit was sent and so I had to show them a video and pictures of the tow hook not fitting my car. After a series of emails they finally responded that they could replace it or refund but shipping is on me. On top of that they ask that I insure the return. So not only did they send the wrong tow hook, nit only did they waste my time, I am. Ow actually using money for having bought something from them. Never again. read more

Terrible experience. I was told that my order would be placed on hold due to shortages. I asked if there was an alternative product. No answer. Then I was told that was not true and all items were in stock. Then I was told that was not true and my order would be cancelled. I have received no fewer than six emails about my order that oscillate between having the items to not having them to bitching at the accounting department for saying they don't have them when in fact they didn't have them in stock. Ultimately the items were shipping and the parts were missing. On top of that I was charged for all of the items. Based on my experience thus far I am doubtful that I will get a refund. I know this place has been in business for some time but it felt like I was the first person that ever placed an order with them online. There are many options online that does what Vivid does. item arrived in perfect condition. Very happy with fitment. It was an axle back megan muffler for Sentra SER 2.5L motor. Sounds amazing! Only reason I am leaving 4 stars is: When order made, funds deducted from card payment like normal, then 2 days later charge was gone. Thought someone canceled order or something and tracking number had not been given. Then 5 days after order made, tracking number was emailed and stated that package was out for delivery and I received it that day. Checked card again and charge was there. So you will get what you ordered but communication could be better. read more

Customer service nonexistent. Phone calls to salesman not answered and voice messages not returned, customer service extension unanswered and will not allow a voicemail or the ability to leave a phone number then disconnects call after a 20 minute wait. Emails are ignored and the chat people say someone will get back to you shortly and that never happens. Once they get your money they are unavailable. I purchased a pair of Recaro Ergomed ES driver and passenger seats and sliders from Vivid Racing in Gilbert, Arizona February 14th for $9,101.51. I had to email a couple of times to get tracking numbers which should be automatic. I received the seats March 6th and had shipping damage, 3 broken plastic parts on the driver seat. I emailed and was asked for pictures which I sent. I received one out of 3 parts. I then installed the seats and have a defective fan in the passenger seat. I again attempted to contact the sales or customer service to exercise the warrantee and have had no response after my purchase and initial contact. I am unable to get a response from the salesman Austin Smith xt (246) or anyone at the company after numerous attempts via phone (10), email (20), and chat (5). I tried to file a shipping claim with FedEx immediately upon delivery, but it was denied without the waiver from the Vivid Racing and Recaro. I called the Recaro USA distributor (the seats were dropped shipped) and left a voicemail but never received a return call. I emailed Recarro and received no reply. According to my Recaro warrantee paperwork I must go through Vivid Racing for warrantee claims. I am stuck as there is no customer service and I am unable to exercise the warrantee. Paying this much for seats I expect them to be functional and can't resolve this having them as the vendor. Had I seen the number of complaints filed I would never have ordered anything from Vivid Racing. read more

Shipping speed was fantastic...but product received was not what I ordered. Clearly the wrong item was put in the wrong box. Getting an RA# to return the pants has now stretched into over a month and Vivid no longer responds to emails. Calling them is also fruitless...I have tried several times over several days...you remain on hold for 10 minutes and then get disconnected. I purchased a $2,000 carbon fiber piece for my car from Vivid in April of 2020 at the time of purchase they said it would be dropped shipped from 1016 Industries and it would take a couple months. I waited 3 months or so before contacting them again and when I did they said they would get me an ETA from 1016, waited a few more months with no response so I reached out again and they said it would be shipped soon, still dod not ship so eventually the owner of 1016 Industries called me and said it had been sitting on the shelf for a very long time then went into a pitch to sell me a $60,000 body kit for another vehicle I own...lol. When we got off the phone he said he would get that piece shipped out, well again months went by with nothing so I started contacting Vivid again and they said it was shipped and delivered to an address in SanDiego (I live in Washington State) now since them they wont even answer my calls or emails so apparently they are just going to steal my money...haha Slimy business at best, order elsewhere, you have been warned! read more

Why tell me order was cancelled then charge me to return it. So I recently bought an exhaust from vivid racing for the C63s AMG and after I installed it believe me or not it doesn't sound good and it way quieter than the AMG exhaust more correctly less aggressive. They claim that the exhaust sound like IPE but it doesn't. So I contacted the sale man in the company to asked for a return but the guy insisted that the exhaust is sound good but in reality it isn't because he wouldn't understand the sound from just the clip itself and of course I daily my car everyday I know how my car sound. After the argument he won't let me return it. So after this my business with them is done the exhaust is a total waste. It just kinda feels weird because usually u getting an aftermarket exhaust and it supposedly make ur car louder but in this case their exhaust is quieter than the AMG exhaust believe me I have 2 different clip comparisons. In the end, I leaned a valuable lesson that don't buy vivid racing exhaust next time. My whole car was Catless so technically is no restriction and the whole exhaust make the car less quieter than the AMG exhaust. For those who owned C63s AMG don't even bother look at this exhaust not worth ur time. read more

I purchased a set of Ray's lug nuts for my 2007 Lexus IS350. They delivered the lug nuts to the wrong address and they were returned to the manufacturer. I called them at least a dozen times trying to give them my updated address and have them either 1) send me the lug nuts or 2) issue me a refund. It has been 8 months and they have failed to do either one. I have never received an email or phone call follow up from their support staff. The support staff who "helped" me was named Tanner and I've never heard from her since. I plan to call yet again tomorrow (Feb 23, 2020) to follow up on this purchase which was from JUNE 2019!! This is unacceptable treatment of a customer. I would not recommend anyone purchase from this vendor. I ordered a carbon fiber PSM Dynamic Trunk Deck Lid V2 BMW M3 F8x 15-19 from Chris Kolodzinski at Vivid Racing. If you look on their website they do not offer a fiberglass option (ONLY CARBON FIBER) and fiberglass was never presented on the phone as an option. Yet, what arrived at my house was a fiberglass version. I immediately called Chris on the phone and told him the mistake. He said he would contact PSM and get back to me. After a few days of not hearing back I tried to contact Chris via phone and email. No response. I tried Vivid Racing's main line and no one answered so I left a voice message to call me back about it. No Response. Weeks later I received an email from them asking me to rate them and provide a review. I emailed back and said I would like a refund and a shipping label to send them back the fiberglass deck lid I didn't order. Zero response. They charged me $480 for something I didn't order, for something that is not even offered on their website, and made no effort to resolve their mistake. I have screen shots of my original chat with Chris and his quote on the carbon fiber version. Steer clear of this company. read more
