I have replied over and over again to these clowns in regards to a shipment that was returned back to them due to the fact it was signature required ... I purchased a tent for $899 on October 7. I was charged $15 for shipping. They charged my credit card immediately, but when I did not receive my tent I contacted them on October 18. I was told that despite having paid shipping and having my credit card charged they wanted an additional $500 for shipping. They admit this was an error on their part and refused to honor the agreement previously made for which they took payment for. I was counting on that tent to arrive for a trip and now I have no tent and no money. Beware of this company!! read more

Two stars instead of one star only because I think people pay more attention to two star reviews as it shows some attention to the actual experience and not just venting into the Internet. Took 5 1/2 months to receive my order. Averaged 22 minutes on hold before getting a customer service rep on each of my four calls. once customer service finally picked up (after the most annoying hold music/advertising campaign I've ever encountered by Vivid's obnoxious CEO), they had no idea where the package was and told me it "hadn't been received by their warehouse yet. When I pressed them on my fourth call and asked to speak with a manager, magically the "order was received 5 days ago by our warehouse and we can ship it out today". Sent me tracking numbers that don't actually track anything, and still have not received my shipment. Objectively this is the second worst online purchasing experienced I can remember. I could not recommend this company any less. Hey Vivid, if you're going to make your customers endure long periods on hold, please offer something less obnoxious than your CEO' unscripted blundering into a microphone. No one cares. Also, ship your products as advertised and keep your customers updated if you're unable to deliver what you promise. It'll build brand loyalty and cause people to buy from you more rather than writing more negative reviews. read more

I ordered a part and they couldn't tell me when it was gonna be shipped and and their website said free shipping so as I was ordering the part thapart they charge me for shipping And I called and left a message they said they would call me within the hour here we are going on 5 hours definitely Would not waste my time ordering stuff from them because no because they can't tell you when you're gonna receive it and I'll tell you when you're gonna receive it and I'll tell you when you're gonna receive it and I'll tell you when you're gonna receive it and I'll tell you when you're gonna receive it in a timely manner read more

1. They deleted my original 1 star review. 2. They refunded me my money and cancelled my order just to recharge my card. 3. Although their website states they have x product in stock they do not I've had to cancel over 3 orders with them They told me that their website will show in stock even if they only have 1 wheel in stock they should probably update their website to show the quantity in stock & not delete reviews or charge cards again after a refund has been issued read more

Ordered some brake lines from this company since I was under a time crunch and larger performance stores said it wouldn't ship til the following week or longer, the parts arrived earlier than expected same week as order, quality of the lines were equivalent to the large performance stores and installation was easy due to proper labeling. All my expectations honestly exceeded as a first time customer. Will be shopping on this site again and would recommend read more

Bought 4 Azara rims. When they arrived, I checked the boxes (deliverer already left the packages). The rims have some serious issues. Pits, dents, overspray, etc. Customer service said they would replace them, awesome! Then they contacted me and ask to to send these back, lose my shipping (over $115) and choose another set. Wait a sec, I can't have the rims I ordered? So now I must send the rims back, lose my shipping and go elsewhere to buy the same rims? No, I'll never buy Azara and will avoid them like the plague, as long as Vivid Racing. Just avoid the headache and shop elsewhere. read more

Whatever you do stay far away from this company. This company does not care about their customers. I ordered AMP Powerstep Mounting Hardware Kit, AMP Powerstep Replacement Motor, and a AMP Powerstep Harness at the end of March. Hardware Kit was special order (made for each order) ETA: June 10th, Replacement Motor was backordered ETA: June 7th, Harness was delivered early April. Mind you I paid for 2 day shipping. I call every now and then to check the status, ask about delays, nothing, still expecting June 10th and 7th respectively. June 7th, no update with a shipping notice for the motor. I call in to see what the problem is, oh that won't be shipped out until the end of June? The hardware kit, which I couldn't find anywhere else, still set for June 10th, ok. June 10th, no update... I call in again. Oh, next week... a week comes around. You are starting to see where this is going Sometime in July I found a motor on Amazon so I canceled the replacement motor. August 1st, 2024, Oh, your hardware kit is now discontinued, we will be cancelling your order and refunding you your money. I am an ERP consultant by trade, my area of expertise is manufacturing, inventory control, and warehouse and distribution. I have consulted on projects for Fortune 500 companies and seen all manner of inventory practices that should have never been put in place and I would still say that this is one of the worst experiences I have ever even heard of. Mind you I never received an email or a call. I only got updated when I called them. If I could give them 33% of a star I would solely because that is what I received of my original order. In all honesty they wouldn't deserve that, but 5 months and $350 later, all I have to show is $250 and powersteps that are still not on my truck. read more

My shop sent the ECU from my Audi TT to Vivid for a stage 1 tune. They took a month to return the computer, stating it wasn't working properly. I now had a fried ECU that was no longer available through the dealer. They offered no solutions and stopped communicating. I was able to find another tuner luckily, and after spending hundreds to replace the ECU with a used unit, the car is running again. Vivid is not reputable. Avoid them. Untrustworth. read more

I ordered in mid June, I received my package on Saturday. I received one email from Vvid Racing asking if I had received the item 10 days after I ordered.. I had not and told them so. It took several emails and calls over almost two months, to finally get a hold of someone. They never once reached out to let me know my item had been on backorder, it was also not listed on the website and out of stock. I had purchased this item to use during the summer and now it's finally here and the summers just about over. If I had known it wouldn't come until August 28, I would've cancelled my order and ordered from elsewhere. When the package arrived, the outside was also damaged. Just terrible, wish they would've given me a heads up. Won't be ordering from them again. read more

Was looking to spend thousands of dollars with this company. Tried contacting them by email and phone to make sure they have decent customer service before placing my order. Boy I'm glad I did! My purchase with Vivid Racing was for a Renntech HHT which cost $3K -- a healthy purchase that would make any vendor happy to help a customer through the subsequent installation steps. Vivid Racing did literally everything they could to avoid helping me. I was told the HHT would be shipped to Vivid Racing and I would come in to have it installed. That did not happen. The HHT was instead shipped to my home and I was left to figure it out on my own. I attempted to call into the store and nobody picked up. This is the default mode of managing inbound communication for Vivid Racing: do not answer the phone and hope they don't call back. If they leave a message, just delete it and pretend it didn't happen. Aside: Let me talk about the phones at this place for a moment. Nobody ever answers the phone. You will get a holding recording of some guy who thinks he is the coolest thing since sliced bread trying to talk to you like he's one of your buddies from 10th grade. Steve Buscemi with a skateboard type of creepy and annoying. Additionally he talks up Vivid Racing as if they're the best company around since Coca Cola and how they have SO MANY staff members that are all just so busy helping people modify their cars and that's why they have you on hold. He slams Mozart by indicating his voice and asinine commentary is somehow better than the most intellectual, complex, beautiful music quite possibly ever created. Bold. Pro tip: put some Mozart on. Anything is better than that guy rambling. Also, learn some modesty! Because nobody exists at Vivid Racing to help you when your product arrives and requires troubleshooting, I was forced to call the manufacturer directly. Renntech was on point. They answer their phones EVERY SINGLE TIME and have someone who is ready, knowledgeable, and able to help you. Kudos to Renntech. I don't know why I didn't just buy it from them directly. Anyway, the saga continues. I had to send back the HHT to Renntech because of a codebase issue on the firmware identifier. The HHT comes back from Renntech and is still throwing an error, so I try to get a hold of Vivid Racing again by phone and of course, nobody is around and nobody returns my calls. I even go as far as to email their supposedly amazing sales staff (Luis Palacios) with an email expressing my struggle and frustration. I ask him for help as politely as I can. More than two business days goes by and I still have nothing from these people. How do they even sleep at night knowing how terrible they are at their jobs? I would throw myself on my sword in disgrace. Anyway, now I have to call Renntech again to receive more troubleshooting support. They get me up and running in 5 minutes. Wow! Talk about service! Long story short; Don't do business with these people. They are devoid of business ethics and they do not care about their customers. Buy directly from the manufacturer, and if you need any performance modifications I would highly recommend you try Goodspeed in Scottsdale instead. read more

This is by far the worst experience I've ever encounter with ordering parts online. They do not answer their phones, or return emails. It took a week for someone to finally get back to me about a tire FedEx had lost and no one had notified me. Every single customer service associate was too self righteous to apology and offer a solution. They were only quick to pass blame, like it was my fault their carrier lost my product? I requested they just send me a new tire and handle their lost item claim with FedEx, but they refused. They only cared about making their money and making me, wait another 2 weeks to see if anything came of their claim. Granted, I had already waited 3 weeks with no updates other than a tracking number. They now want to charge me to return my incomplete order and a restocking fee for product I have yet to receive! I cannot even fathom running a business this way. read more

Ordered a set of HID bulbs. One showed up dead on arrival. Called in about the issue and was told via phone they would take care of it. I then received a email from customer service rep Sarah Oelschlaeger asking for the reason for the return. I replied stating it showed up dead on arrival. Did not get a response from Sarah for 10 days. I opened a Paypal claim. Sarah emailed me asking to close the claim before they would send a return label. I refused as that's would leave me in a vulnerable situation. She stopped communication via email. Paypal picked up the case. I had to pay for return shipping on a defective item. Paypal sided with me on this case. Avoid Vivid at all costs. They lost me as a customer over a $30 order. Absolutely ridiculous how they handled this situation. read more

Went around in circles with these guys for 4 or 5 days. Wanted a stage 1 Bootmod 3 ECU flash for my 235i, and factory rear 8" wheels (I have square 7.5"). Sent them the BMW part # and an image of the wheels. They suggested their own VRtune and became chilly when I asked what the advantage over BM3 was (which they are an "authorized dealer,") for. They respond *once* a day to e-mails, have a closed-to-the-public location, and won't book appointments. Finally I got THIS response: "Hello, Unfortunately without part numbers on the items you want I am unable to get anything set up. We have to check margins on the items you wat and that will determine if we will have a sales rep reach out or if I will be selling you the items. We also unfortunately do not do any consultations for fitment. Please let me know if you have any further questions Best Regards, Thomas Reynolds Sales Assistant" Update - shortly after this post from Thomas - I received far more helpful and customer-service oriented responses from Blake Hansen and Sam McClimon. They explained that their volume of work means that they're only focusing on VRTuned vehicles - and that is fine. I can see why they want to promote, install, and service their tunes over other tunes on the market. VRTune seems like a more "track-enthusiast" tune than I am looking for. Maybe much of the miscommunication and frustration was due to the volume of work they've got going on. I don't intend on doing drag-races at Wild Horse pass - but I'm sure the race enthusiast community in the East Valley of Phoenix keeps all the local tuners very busy. If you're interested in competitive local racing - these guys may be a good choice for you. More casual street-tuning seems like a second priority to them. At least they continued to reach out to me after we initially got off on the wrong foot. I'm bumping my review up from "bad" to "could have been better" - and some of the problems with communication may have been my fault. read more

After writing the review, a friendly lady named Tiffany from Vivid reached out offering to help amend the situation. I have to give her credit, as well as Vivid, they immediately reached out to the manufacturer and the product was shipped overseas, and arrived within only a few days. While it's unfortunate it took this to get the right person on it, I think it always shows a company's character in how they handle a bad situation, and I don't think they could have done a better job in this instance. BUYER BEWARE, this company is a joke, dealt with them for several month's trying to get my product that I ordered. Every month I called they kept saying that it would be another month until finally I cancelled all together. The customer service here is ridiculous to say the least. There is a reason why almost all the reviews in the last 6 month's are 1 star and I'm sure they would be minus stars if they could be. Don't waist your time dealing with this subpar company you will regret it. The response from Tiffany for the post listed above is inaccurate, Yes the first order was discontinued and it tool over a month and me calling back to find out that it was discontinued and would not be delivered to me, this is when Conner offered me a discount on the new order that I purchased which was not yet available, I was assured that I would be the first to receive it once it came in since I ordered so far in advance. I was notified by Rockford Fosgate that the item was now available and after calling Vivid racing they informed me that they did not have anymore available and O would have to wait again another couple of month's for the next shipment.
