Absolutely terrible experience with my purchase and I definitely will never buy another product from Vivid Racing or recommend them to anyone. Things started off good, I contacted support and they offered me a $97 discount on my shipping before I placed my order. This Is the only positive experience I can say I have had. Once I placed my order the same day on the 7th of August for over $3,500.00 I have experienced nothing but frustration and disappointment. When I placed the order the item was displayed as "in stock" online. A week later with no update or tracking number I reached out to support and spoke to a representative. I was told " I'm on the phone with the supplier now, I'll call you back or email you with an update". The update came later that week not day but he explained the item will be drop shipped to me and would arrive by the next week. (This did not happen) when I reached out to support again and spoke with another representative this time I was told that the item will not ship until September 19th. So in summary I placed an order for a "in stock" item and now have to wait over a month for it to be drop shipped from the manufacturer. Support is not sympathetic completely unapologetic and not useful or knowledgeable. Do yourself a favour and just find another company or buy directly from the manufacturer read more

I then got an email saying it was going to be drop shipped from the manufacturer- not a problem at all. I then get an email saying they are canceling my order because the manufacturer doesn't have it and that it's unavailable. I reached out to the manufacturer to see if they have it or when they might have it since it is still listed on their website- surprise surprise! They have it in stock! I let Marie at Vivid Racing know that there must have been an error and that I confirmed with the manufacturer that it is available. I get the same message stating that it's unavailable and they may have an alternative. No thanks! Typical bait and switch. Vivid was "unable" to reach the vendor in time and the product shipped out anyway Monday evening. Filed a return as they advised and am now being charged 190+ in restocking fees and shipping fees for a product that should have never shipped out in the first place. The whole thing just feels scammy and I've seen numerous posts accusing them of doing the same thing. Had a good selection on their website, but the items I ordered were not stocked by VividRacing. They rely on the manufacturer to fulfill orders. The result was that I placed an order for items that were not available, and now I have to wait weeks for my brakes to be delivered. When a customer is ordering brakes, or really anything in the modern e-commerce age, being transparent about out-of-stocks and lead times is essential. Do not trust VividRacing to actually have what you order from their website. They take no accountability for ensuring it's in stock nor resolving issues that occur when it is not in stock. They did not update me the item had shipped which led to an angry call to customer service where they immediately sent me my tracking number. Where they get a star off is the customer service. Worst experience I've ever had trying to give my money away. Who would've thought it would be so hard to let them take money. First I ordered a single wheel, they sent an email that got lost in my inbox and used that as a stalling tactic to prevent shipping my order out. The email stated that I must have a written agreement and understanding that I was purchasing 1 wheel. That is a kind gesture, but maybe after 24hrs the order should go through regardless. 2 weeks later and I haven't gotten a single response... I give them a call, they tell me the wheel is scheduled to ship(as if they have it) in another week. I was mad, but I brushed it off as they offered compensation. That week passes and I get no response. After 4 more days I get an email saying the scheduled ship date is going to be the next day. I waited all day staying close to my email, but no update. This continued for 3 more days. I finally received an email 3 days after the scheduled ship date that said "the manufacturer discontinued the part we will refund you in 7-14 days" WHAT? I didn't order the part from the manufacturer... I ordered it from you. It's now been a week and I haven't seen a dime. This may be grounds for small claims court, just a lot of trouble. I am all in all very disappointed. It took a month from purchase date until they could tell me that the wheels were discontinued. Will not purchase from here again, will highly suggest to everyone I care about to skip this site when looking for their next part. This company appears to be a gamble!!! I ordered a radiator from vivid racing on March 22nd 2024 thinking it would not be that big of a deal. How wrong I was. I received an order confirmation email the next day, and then nothing else. After a week and a half I contacted them asking if it had shipped, to which I got a response that "they contacted their warehouse and will email me package tracking info once they hear back." So I waited another week, and still nothing. I contacted them a second time, and got the same response. I then contacted them a third time almost a week later, and yet again, word for word, got the same response. These people are not deserving of my business or anyone else's business if you ask me. Later to get an email saying the part isn't in stock and they will update me when the manufacturer receives some. It's been two weeks now since I have ordered the part and they gave me basic ground fed ex shipping after paying for and them charging me for the 2 day shipping. Horrible company do not buy from. Have purchased from Vivid twice, but no more. Firstly they are slooooooow. If you are in a rush, go elsewhere. Nearly 2 weeks after placing an order I received an email informing me they could not send one of the items (no longer manufactured). They did not have a comparable alternative so a request for a refund was made. The customer service during this exchange was satisfactory, though very late. However, the refund provided did not refund me the taxes on a nearly $300 item. I called to ask why. First time after explaining the reason for my call and providing order info they seemingly could not hear me after that point and hung up on me. Tried calling back but could not get the call to go through. Called back two days later, got the same Representative, explained again why I called, then immediate silence. This was not a connection issue. The call waiting worked perfectly fine while awaiting someone to take my call. Shady practices when reimbursement is involved. I've never had a worse online shopping experience in my life. I ordered a part in advance of an appointment I had gotten really lucky to get and paid for 2 day shipping to make the appointment date. After about 4 days, when the item hadn't even shipped yet, I sent a cancellation request as the install appointment had passed. They ignored the cancellation request for 6 days before finally shipping the order. So, naturally, I was frustrated and asked to return the part as it wasn't needed anymore. They ignored my 2 calls, live chat requests and 6 emails over the course of a week. After about a week, I FINALLY got in touch with someone who said they'd make a return request. I didn't hear back on it for another 8 days or so after multiple ignored attempts for an update. Eventually they said that the return request was accepted. At this point we're 3 weeks into the process getting almost no correspondence except an automated email every day asking me to respond or my inquiry would be closed. (I responded to every one, eventually asking if they were making fun of me. To which, they sent another one immediately afterwards, leading me to think they were purposefully making this hard for me). When I finally got approval for the return, they didn't send a shipping label. I asked about it, and after a few days they responded that I'd receive the shipping label "shortly". It's now been a week since that email and I can't get through to anyone. I've sent 4 emails, a live chat request, and even called (sat on hold for 10 minutes just to get forwarded straight to a voicemail). I don't usually get this upset, but it really feels like they are intentionally being petty with me just because they're inconvenienced by my return request. This whole experience has been awful and I feel completely helpless to get anyone's attention or assistance. It's been about a month at this point, and not only am I out about $50 for the initial 2 day shipping, they have my $600 for the part and it's looking like I'll have to pay to ship it back despite it being their mistake I ever even received it. I have no idea what to do or how to finally get this process over with. I went from caller #9 down to next caller back to caller #9, after a half hour on hold I was told I would get a call back (only being able to to leave a call back message). So I am going to vent here in an attempt to hopefully save someone else from going through what I did with Vivid Racing. In August '22, I ordered a GT2 style Carbon Fiber add-on wing to replace the factory wing a 997 Turbo tail. This wing was beautiful.... But after attempting to mount it, I discovered that it was threaded improperly with M10-1.5 pitch threads instead of M10-1.25. I reported this to Vivid racing, and asked for a return shipping label and a replacement wing. I was told that I would have to ship it back to them for inspection before they would consider anything. This cost me $115 due to the bulk / size. When I asked about the replacement, they said to give them a few months because they wanted to inspect all their inventory, and they refunded my purchase price money (not the shipping). So I asked them about at least refunding my return shipping, since this was clearly a problem / defect with their part. I was refused but told that they might consider something if I reordered in a few months. This should have been my first clue that this was not a reputable vendor. So summer of '22 goes by and my car gets put away for winter. Winter of '22-'23 was brutal out west, so let's fast-forward to (late) spring. In May 2023 with my previous experience behind me, and the frustration faded, I (foolishly) ordered the exact same GT2 style carbon fiber wing for a factory 997 turbo tail again. Shockingly, I received another wing with the exact same issue of being improperly threaded. After 8 weeks of going back and forth with them over this, they finally agreed to send me a shipping label, with the caveat that they would deduct a little over $40 from my refund, Since that was a far cheaper rate than I could get on my own, I took it. At this point, I am out $155+, because they sent me a defective part, TWICE! I would understand if this was an elective return because I changed my mind, or something similar. Now $155 isn't going to break me, by any means, but for me, it's the principle.... This was their issue with sending defective parts, not once, but twice! I have had issues with parts ordered from other vendors before, but the way most others have dealt with them is in stark contrast to how poorly I was treated by Vivid Racing. Needless to say, I am done with Vivid Racing, and my advice to anyone considering making a purchase with them, is "Caveat Emptor". read more

They never answered the phone and each time I waited anywhere between 15 and 30 mins I got hung up on! I finally got through on a online chat and they refused to honor pricing and they didn't even offer to make things right or correct the website pricing. What a scam and to top it off I found the same item on Horse power freaks .com and guess what??? Appears Vivid owns them as well..... neither CEO's where available for comment... could not escalate to a complaint call and my order was cancelled and I was promptly dismissed.
