As an owner of multiple performance cars my experience with Dan and Blake at Vivid Racing has been absolutely phenomenal. From tuning (new 2020 Supra)to over the top customer support and service this has been a uniquely high quality experience. I've worked with Vivid on multiple occasions this time around and would recommend them to anyone in search of quality products, customer service and world-class support. read more

I signed up and never got a 7% off code for my first order. No email, nothing. AI support is no help.

I made a online purchase. It said 7% off for first time order. I assumed it would be applied at checkout. It wasn't, I called customer service which did apply the discount but was told one item was not in stock and would have to come from the manufacturer. Then I was told the shipping cost would double and I was responsible for the extra cost. Why does the site no mention the item is not in stock or that it would cost extra,? So far I am not too thrilled with this buying experience. If you sell someone something you don't tell them they will have to pay more it's deceiving the buyer. read more

AVOIND THIS STORE! I ordered 1 item on November 23rd. Here we are December 21st 2020 and I havent even gotten a tracking number. They are extremely hard to contact and cryptic in the emails .... First email (11/24/20) " hey there is a 2-3 week delay because of back order" Second email (3 weeks later 12/7/20)... Your order was placed on hold because we are verified (( I immediately responded to show that my payment had cleared. )) After me trying to get clarifcation on that issue i get this email on 12.7.20 "Your order has been processed and is scheduled to be drop shipped directly from our vendor or manufacturer." Which is clearly a lie because the person im chatting with gives me December 18th as a date for drop shipment. And today 12/21.... I have nothing. . . . maybe if you are looking for car parts this is the spot.. i just picked them becasue they were the first one that had them available via google shopping.. Nothing timely about this... And after reading all these negative reviews i want my money back! read more

Very poor customer service. Not happy with the communication, delivery time and response from customer service,

I could waste more of my time with this DBA. THEY are not a company. Buttom line they post a lot on social media on how they can make your car and this, but that's the problem. They know absolutely nothing. It's 2 guys in a garage. That take your money and buy it from over seas then drop ship to you if your lucky. I'm really wondering how anybody leaves a positive review for them. I don't believe and I call BS. There is no customer service. They literally will do what ever they want. They will scan you as they Only care about their selfs. I wish this DBA Vivid Racing would fall off the internet. The only thing they are racing is their mouths. DO NIT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Don't take my word for it. Do your own due diligence!! They do not even respond to their bad reviews. Hmm wonder why that is?? read more

Worst company I have ever dealt with ...terrible communication. Absolutely no help trying to rectify an issue which was an incorrect listing on their website. some wrong parts sent , no one would answer wether I could get the right parts they just tried to issue a refund. Travis; tried his best to get me a Military discount . It wasn't allowed. Although he performed outstanding customer service and I'm appreciative of his professionalism. As a long serving retired Airborne Ranger who had fought in Iraq and Afghanistan through multiple combat tours; I can't help but ask why wasn't he able to extend a Military discount? Especially when considering how few Americans actually serve their country at a time of war and the fact that so many of those few patriots (my friends) have given their last full measure of devotion on the battlefield to protect those very freedoms that so many Americans take for granted. I won't be purchasing anything from Vivid Racing in the future unless they provide a Military discount. That might sound presumptuous or self serving to some. Yet who among those critics have risked their lives to protect the rest of the United States? read more

This place is good for taking your order and that is all. Don't expect any answers to any questions or call back on anything. The Guy Rudy A. That I dealt with has yet to return my call. This order was placed in early May. Being a female and not really knowing anything about Rims and Lug nuts, I wanted to gift my husband $2000 rims and I had some questions that till this day I have not heard back. Got the runaround if anything. Had multiple people give him messages and nothing. They lost my business for sure. It's too bad I actually did place an order for the rims. read more

Ordered a few things from here. Most items were processed and delivered in a timely manor, which is why I am leaving two stars instead of one star. However, I feel a company's true nature lies in how they deal with issues.. Rudy Arauz is my sales rep with one of my items, a custom made steering wheel. I was told the processing time be between 6-8 weeks. Obviously I am hoping closer to six, and expect that 8 weeks is worst case. After 10 weeks I email to check in on the order, and Rudy tells me it's only been 7 weeks and that "we are right on schedule". I told him it's been 10, and asked if he could put me in touch with his manager. He replied and told me that he double checked and that it had been 10 weeks, and that his manager would call me. That was over a week ago, so it's now been 11 weeks since I placed the order. Last Time I emailed them (earlier this week), I had asked to just refund the money so I could purchase somewhere else. Rudy has stopped replying to my emails altogether, and his manager has yet to contact me. It's worth noting that this is a several thousand dollar item, with a two thousand dollar core deposit. This company is absolute trash! Let me begin.... I placed an order September 1st totaling $2,400+ (not a small order) I emailed multiple times and called and didn't hear back for over a week!! No response, no email or call back, no tracking numbers, nothing. Finally I get emailed back, they tell me it shouldn't be much longer until I get the parts....another TWO WEEKS goes by and finally the parts arrived on September 24th. 24 days to receive parts.....half of the order is damaged and they refuse to take responsibility. After going back and forth with the manager they agreed to refund me for the piece but will not cover my shipping back. Look at the managers response to me saying "Sorry to hear that the truth is that issue you showed me is minor and would be fixed by paint for maybe $20 if not free." Who would ever want to order damaged parts and then have to fix them?!? Let me start off my saying that I bought their 2011 project car, not just parts - '09 Mercedes C63 AMG. http://www.vividracing.com/blog/project-cars/project-mercedes-c63-amg-up-for-sale/ Let me also point out that if you scroll down and look at the FILTERED REVIEWS that Yelp has hidden, you'll see SIXTEEN PAGES of 5-star reviews that are not taken into account to Vivid's overall 2.5-star rating. That's over 100 filtered reviews!!! Don't believe me? I posted screenshots and Yelp took them down. But you can see them for yourself if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. There is a TINY link that says (### filtered reviews). Prove that you're a human and VOILA! ALL of the reviews are shown. I have been dealing with Rob for over 2 months now ever since he first listed the car for sale. He has been extremely friendly and prompt during the whole purchasing process. Back in January, he agreed to sign a bill of sale with a deposit while I got funding. In the time it took to process the loan, we traded documents, he sent me copies of the title, and he took the car to Schumacher Mercedes to get a pre-buy inspection (which they do for free) and scanned me the report. After that, he replaced the brakes as indicated on the inspection and manufactured removable mid-pipes with catalytic converters so I could smog the car (gotta love California). After everything checked out and was re-documented in a modified bill of sale, I sent him final payment with enough time for it to clear before I made the trek down to AZ. When I was able to arrange travel to fly down to Phoenix to pick up the car, he picked me up personally from the airport in his sweet ride, walked me through the paperwork, showed me how the mid-pipes would fit, let me take the car out for a test drive (finally!) and we were ready to go. I even shipped him some heavy duty floor mats that he helped put into the car. I know that this isn't a typical transaction for people to read about, but it is more in-depth and more complex. THAT is why you should buy from these guys. Rob was super professional and a very cool personality to deal with. If I ever need replacement parts or want to modify something else, I'm coming here first. read more

So, I wanted some new suspension. And I saw that they carried the same set up I wanted. I could have gone to ISC and bought it myself, but free shipping, AND helping out a small business stay on its feet. Bruh, don't even have to ask twice. Went with them. Bought it online. Minutes after i checked out, i notice that ISC interchanges their parts, want harder than street but softer than track, for no additional charge they were going to make it so i receive street shocks with track springs. (Or vice versa). Called right after and advised them on what I wanted. A Guy named Mark (online Chat) checked with someone, and told me i don't need to cancel, they can make an adjustment and still get what I wanted. cool bonus points. "You should receive a change order receipt in 24-48 hours. Cool. I then Verified return policy and shipping costs, but noticed 15% restocking fee and i have to pay shipping. Good thing i asked for a change order receipt. That was the 9/29, i called to check why i have not recieved it yet 3 days later on friday. "We are sorry, its special instructions, may we have another 24-48 hours as one of our reps is actually working on it as we speak..." cool np. Monday, nada. Called back on wed... "working on it" It is now 10/21. I message again only to get a sorry, but it will be sent out 11/13... umm.... what? I thought it was 2 weeks. Now it will take 6 just to hand it over to fedex? I get it c-19 issues. Ok ok... it is coming form the MFG. SO, i asked the guy if he can wait while i answer a call. Literally next minute the guy disconnected. But now something inside is telling me, if a company cannot provide something as simple as a receipt to make sure you agree with what you bought, and what arrives at your home. Technically speaking as of now I literally just want assurance that i won't have to pay $200+ for their mistake. I just decided to call, and verify. I spoke to a woman, she literally told me that it was in the notes. 2 of them from the first 2 people I talked to. Since its in the notes I can be sure there will not be any charges if the error wad their fault. Cool. Feeling good again. But, it was over the phone, not chat, meaning no emailed transcript of what we just talked about. But a quick chat message with my account info would clear this up easy right? Wrong! The guy i talked to last was the same guy I bought the suspension from. And he said he doesn't see any of that any where. By this point You can tell I'm frustrated but I still have a smile on my face. I told Mark the situation. And "all I really want is assurance in the form of a receipt that I will not be charged for returning a product that they made a mistake on. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK? DOES IT TAKE ALMOST 30 DAYS TO GET A RECEIPT?(in my Head) I have had enough of this. I told Mark that "I am sorry, i hope you can understand why I am frustrated, I can't cancel through them bc I recently declared that card lost. No card to refund. So, I told Marc that I cannot move forward as they could not even provide a simple receipt. Hand written,or printed, or emailed with a signature. None. Seconds after, he disconnected. No sorry, no bye, just "your chat has ended" This much headache for a piece of paper to make sure i dont lose $1000. Nah bro, Nah. Get your stuff together. If you want to reprimand those people. I HAVE ALL THE TRANSCRIPTS! Except for the lady I called on the phone. Sorry, you guys suck. read more

I wish I could give Vivid Racing no stars whatsoever. I was very excited about my ETS V3 quiet exhaust system that was marked on sale. Without a doubt I placed my order and sent payment thru Paypal. Got email confirmation and I was beyond pleased about my experience so far. Fast forward 3 days and I receive an email stating I "requested to cancel" the order. This is where I realized this company is just full of lies and do not honor their word. If you have an item on sale and a customer is able to purchase it at the price is marked, you at least could admit your mistake and reach out immediately. Instead of lying about me canceling the order. I tried reaching out via email, chat and phone. After 15 minutes being on hold a young lady answered saying that the exhaust was out of stock and that's why the order was canceled but that she was going to dig more into it and get back to me. Sent an email requesting to know why my order was cancel that I did want my exhaust. Another person called me within 10 minutes informing me it was because of the "pricing" that they had an issue with their website and that there was nothing they could do. I would totally agree with, if the price that was posted wasn't the one reflected on the final bill. First off, it took a week or two for the items to be dropshipped from their supplier. Not their issue. Shipping took several days. Acceptable. I paid about $140 for a set of headlights. Ended up deciding against using them on the build. Went to return them... It took them about 2 weeks & MANY outreaches to get the return process started. They don't refund return shipping costs, they charge a 20-25% restocking fee and TERRIBLE (!!!) customer service/support. So of the $140, I was going to get like $30 back. Such a joke. No wonder Amazon is killing traditional e-com businesses like this. I would avoid this company like the plague for anything basic. Even with their higher end offerings, I'd look elsewhere. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would !!! DO NOT BUY from this company . Their customer service is horrible. They don't care about their customers at all. I purchase a set of headlights from them for my son's car. We paid for expedited shipping since my son's car was sitting at the mechanic unable to be driven. The headlights came pretty quick which was great. But it all went down hill from there. We took the headlights to the mechanic for installation. Within an hour they called us to tell us the passenger headlight was defective . My son gets home from work and calls them. They had him fill out a return request online and someone would get back to him in 72 hours ! 72 hours !!! So I give them a call . After arguing with a customer service rep I asked to speak to someone higher up. Someone named Bailey gets on the phone stating she was the supervisor. So I talk to her and explained 72 hours was unacceptable. It's not like I wanted to return them because we didn't want or like them. We wanted to return them because THEY sent us a defective item. She then proceeds to tell me that the particular manufacturer (Spyder) requires that we send a video of the defective light. We then had to go back to the mechanic and have them reinstall the headlights to take the video. RIDICULOUS! Anyway the mechanic was super thorough. Not only did he install the headlights and showed the passenger one didn't work he also plugged the driver side headlight in to the passenger side to show it was not the vehicle it was the light because the driver side light worked plugged in to the passenger side. He then plugged the defective passenger light into the drivers side and it did not work . Proving it was the headlight not the car. So I immediately go home and send the videos to Bailey. She gets back to me after another 48 hours. She said we had to ship the lights back so the manufacturer can inspect them and after about a week they would get back to us. So here we are going on just about 2 weeks dealing with this crap at that point. 2 weeks my sons car was unable to be driven . He also had to come stay with us so I could drive him to work everyday. Anyway I sent an email to Bailey asking her for a return shipping label . Here's where it really gets good. She gets back to me 48 hours later telling me WE have to pay return shipping (shipping was around $150.) I told her no way they sent us a defective item . She said anything to do with a warranty issue had to be paid for by the customer. I said this has NOTHING to do with a warranty. The headlights did not make it to us in working order so it's their responsibility. I said as a consumer I expect my item to get to me in working order. And she continued to tell me it's a warranty issue. At this point I am fuming . So I said one more time it has NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with a warranty. It's not like we were using them and they broke . In that case yes it's a warranty issue. These NEVER made it to us in working order. She was still no help and insisted we had to pay for shipping because it was a warranty issue. At this point I'm done with her. I contact our credit card company and file a dispute. So we are waiting on that. I'm actually glad now they made us take that video because that just adds to the proof I have. So PLEASE PLEASE save yourself a headache and DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! By the was here we are going on almost 3 weeks with this issue. Sorry this was so long but I don't want anyone else to have to go through what we are . I was going to post the video for all to see but I guess it's too long . read more

This has been a phenomenal disappointment...DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered a set of titanium lug studs with ball seat tuner lugnuts specifically (per their website) for my 2019 Audi TT RS. This company shipped me a set of titanium, lug, studs, and Standard ball seat Lugnuts. I didn't complain about them sending me the wrong Lugnuts, as I assumed I had missed a checkbox or something. when I attempted to install them, I found that the thread pitch was incorrect, and it made them extremely hard to thread into my hubs. Most of them, with some work, I could back out and thread forward and back out and thread forward until they would go in all the way but one specifically was not cut correctly and would not thread into my hub. I consequently snapped three different Allen head sockets, attempting to work at back-and-forth until I got it into the hub. Of course, this was on the very last wheel so we had to go back and take all three of the other wheels back off and pull all 20 of the studs back out. I then proceeded to clean them with a wire brush to get all of the Loctite off that they had recommended I use to install them, then, when I filed the return request, and specifically told them that I tried to install them, and they did not work, they put me off for several days and sent me several emails over a two week period... Saying they were going to address the issue. I finally got someone to respond and they sent me a very polite email, saying if there was any damage to the packaging or marks on anything that they would refuse my return.... Please refer to the pictures below as their "reason" for refusing my return... Understand that it is possible to polish metal, so any light marks on their amazingly strong, titanium, lugstuds or nuts probably shouldn't have been possible, but should be easily polished out by a place that manufactured them in the first place. What they have pointed out on these Lugnuts was literally one attempted install and then removal... They were on my car for a total of 45 minutes because that's how long it took me to figure out that the kit they sent me would not work! I question if they are actually titanium at all. Also, notice how beautiful the parts are that I returned, and understand that working in the garage on an automobile is filthy... I took the time to wipe them all down and scrub them clean as well as possible, prior to returning them in an effort to be a respectful consumer. I knew at this point they were going to attempt to refuse the return, even though they sent me the wrong product in the first place. To set a timeline, I received the product approximately March 26, I attempted to install the product March 27. I then spent two weeks trying to get someone to pay attention to the fact that they sent me an item incorrectly. I shipped them the return on April 16 they received it April 22 and then sent me an email stating they were not going to accept the return April 24 because I had attempted to install the product... How would I ever know that a set of lug studs and Lugnuts didn't work if I didn't attempt to install them?! And when I told them that there was a problem installing them, that's why I was returning them. Why would they not have addressed it at that time? This vendor is terrible. I ordered a Works Bell Hub for my 300zx in March and have yet to receive it. Their IVR phone system is crap and will randomly bump you out of place (example: you are #1 in line and all of a sudden you jump to #9. To top it off you have the annoying voice of the owner blabbing about how they have so many employees but yet no one is available to pick up the phone. After a millenia on hold you either 1. Get routed to a VM that nobody responds to 2. Call drops 3. Someone picks up and proceeds to press a few keys on their keyboard and give you some generic cookie cutter response to shoo you off the phone. I spend thousands at Z1Motorsports, ConceptZPerformance and SpecialtyZ and have never had a poor experience with them. Take notes Vivid! Anyway, you call them and they give you some BS about how they can't get ahold of the manufacturer. They don't update you by email on the shipping status or to let you know that they care about your business! They have no problem with taking your money out of your account though. Another BIG gripe is that when I ordered the part it was apparently in stock. The website NEVER stated the item was on backorder and I've read dozens of reviews where other customers have stated the same and are still waiting on parts. I'm just glad that I only ended up buying one part from this incompetent vendor (although a crucial part since I can't mount my steering wheel). I would not recommend this business to anyone and will spread the word across all the FB car groups, IG, etc. Cliffnotes: 1. Vendor is terrible 2. Advertise as in stock when in fact the item is backordered. 3. Hit your account and then go to happy hour after their shifts to celebrate another victim. 4. Owner decided to waste his time recording a useless IVR recording talking about how great his company is and how many employees he employs who apparently must be stealing time and not doing squat. 5. Shipping updates are non existent 6. Long hold times 7. Dropped calls 8. Shafted in the rear 9. No lube 10. Stay away! read more

In fairness, I didn't get past the sales process with Vivid, because, well... it sucked. If a company's sales process sucks, it's 3:1 their fulfillment sucks worse, and 5:1 the follow-on customer service sucks worst. I tried Vivid's site chat + calling several times with 0 luck getting ahold of anyone to ask if a set of wheels was in stock. I went ahead and ordered the wheels 7/27, because there was nothing indicating they weren't in stock on the product page nor the checkout process. I received an email 7/28 8:59pm EST stating the order was on hold and that the wheels were special order with an ETA of Nov-Dec. I replied back 7/29 5:54pm EST that I'd be fine with the ETA but want to do the industry-standard 50% deposit for a special order. I didn't get a reply back, but it appeared they got my email, because a few hours later the Amex charge went from pending to processed. I emailed them 7/30 8:13pm EST that I knew they were busy but I needed a reply back... then I google'd "Vivid racing review" and after some light reading, and several beers, emailed again at 4:16am EST that if I didn't have an email confirming the cancellation of my order by end of day I'd initiate a chargeback with Amex. So the 2 stars, in lieu of 1 star, is because it only took the THREAT of a chargeback to get an email reply, instead of an actual chargeback. I'm looking forward to their reply to this review, because nothing says "good company" like pedantic, nit-picking replies to bad reviews. read more
