My mother took my daughter for a special grandmother-granddaughter pedicure date, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The technician working on my daughter wore an earbud during the service and repeatedly looked down at her phone. My daughter said the technician would occasionally laugh while looking at the screen, and it appeared she was watching a show or movie during the pedicure. As a parent, I found this unprofessional and distracting. When providing a service, especially to a child, I would expect the technician's attention to be focused on the client rather than on a phone. It also raised concerns about safety and overall customer care. She also had to start over because she ended up painting my daughter's nails the wrong color. What should have been a fun and memorable experience for my daughter and her grandmother felt impersonal. I do not recommend this place. I received terrible service today. I paid $38 for a basic pedicure. My left toenail was VISIBLY shorter than the other one. Other customers noticed from their chairs. Polish job was smudgy and uneven. I came home and tried to redo it myself. After removing the polish, I noticed some toenails were cut very short and round, others square, I couldn't notice it with the polish on, but that explains why they looked so terrible. The manager tried to fix the big toe by clipping the longer one shorter, however, she had a bad attitude. No one apologized. I ended up with about 5 coats of paint in one foot, which made it look even worse. I walked out before she applied the top coat. I also did not get a massage. When I brought it to the tech's attention, she said I did . I told her she did not, as I was carefully watching while she carelessly, and roughly, clipped my toenails. Her answer was, you did not get the "spa" package. I am all for supporting small businesses, and I was looking forward to this, as it is a big treat for myself. I will share this experience with family and friends. Proceed with caution. Some nails were cut SO close to the nail bed, that is causing a bit of pain. I feel like I should receive a full refund. The pedicure was acceptable BUT there was only a 50 second massage then I was thrown to another employee for my manicure with no explanation or help. While my manicure was being done the employees chatted so loudly at each other , it was just rude. I am very sad as I had really high expectations. I wanted a pink American French tip long. I had an appointment at 10am and wasn't seen until 12:30. I spent 3 hours in this salon. When finally someone was going to help me she put tips on (crooked) then told me I had to wait because she had another customer that had an appointment with her coming in. Since moving to the area, I've searched for a salon that provides a good mani and pedi and includes paraffin wax for a reasonable price. Glad to finally find this place! Julie provided friendly, expert service, with attention to every detail. She wasn't rough or heavy handed. Did a great job on my pedi w/callous remover and on my gel mani. As she applied polish to my nails, she brushed smudges from edges, for a neat and perfect finish. Service and price are comparable to the salon I go to in Springfield. But the bigger issue is that my cuticle was clipped which caused pain and bleeding that the technician tried to ignore until I asked for an antiseptic to stop the bleeding. I should have walked out however, they provided a service albeit bad service that wasn't worth the drama. I believe my tech was the owner. I will never go back and of course there was no tip . I went to the one in Springfield for years but moved to Woodbridge and needed something closer. This salon is just as beautiful and I initially was pleased and gave them a 5 star review. However, after several times visiting here and always having to wait 20-30 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I am done. I'm particular and always book with Hailey who was great at first but then declined. Regardless of having an appointment, I would be waiting for her and then be rushed through my services. I typically bring my entire family here but we will no longer be giving our money to this location. I actually ended up walking out after waiting 20 minutes with my husband. I realized that hailey had at least another 30 minutes putting on the acrylics for her current client. I am done and disappointed. I really do hope that John or Kayla see this review and make sure they don't let this keep happening. He was very rough and didn't care at all that he hurt me and hit my cuticle. I complained and told the manager and she didn't apologize but instead said it was my fault that I have "sensitive cuticles." As a business you're not supposed to place your faults on your customers. They didn't proceed to fix any of the problems I pointed out. Instead continued to do a sloppy job. I'm sorry but I don't recommend this place to anyone. Went there for the first time today and chose this place due to reviews and proximity to my house. Walked in around 11:15a on a Sunday, they opened at 11a. I got the last available person. I filled their last available seat for pedicures. It was full. I asked for the spa pedicure and it was nice, just what this 7 month pregnant mama needed. Could it have been better? Maybe by more massage on feet and calves but I got what I needed. The hot stones were nice, not too hot but I felt like I could have gotten more out of them. Manicure was nice and simple. First time I've had wax on my hands. Felt like icing on a cake when pulled off. I had my brows waxed. She did a good job. I didn't have to point out to many spots of stray hairs she missed. I was super bushy so there was a lot to remove. I paid $79 for everything- not including the tip, not too shabby. I didn't catch the lady's name but she was older, probably past middle age? I used to love coming here because it's so close to home but the past few times I've come, I've been more than disappointed. I got a gel mani and regular pedi, done by two different ladies. I wish I would've asked or remembered their names because I appreciate when other reviewers let me know who to steer clear of. Unfortunately I didn't but honestly I'd just say pass on this whole establishment in general. The lady who did my toes did not even look at my toes while she was clipping, filing, painting. She literally was looking everywhere else except my toes. It was really irking me and I'm not one to nit pick when I go to get my nails done especially since I'm asian and it just feels weird to be there in general lol. But she did the worst pedicure I've ever received. There was a hair on my toe, like a noticeable hair stuck into the nail polish at which I showed her and this lady painted over the hair. I kid you not. I was shocked. The lady who did my nails, did not let me know the color I asked for wasn't available. She just tried to play it off like it was. When I asked her why the numbers didn't match the one I asked for she then told me that it was the same color. I color swatched it on my nail and told her it's definitely not the same color to which she then rolled her eyes and told me to pick a different color. Then she had the audacity to tell me the one on my toes wasn't the color I picked but I didn't notice. Well ***** now that I look at it, you're right this is the wrong color as well. Smh. Worst part is - the lady painted the clear coat of my gel all over my cuticle, sides of nail and never cleaned it up so that when the UV light set, I had all this hot mess crustys that ended up making my nails get caught on everything. Also made them start peeling on the second day. Actually, that's not the worst part. The real worst part was after the parrafin wax, the lady peeled about 80% of it off and just said ok you're done... leaving me to peel off the wax from between my fingers, under my nails, between my Cuticles, everything. I'm pretty sure she did that tho because I inquired about why the color numbers didn't match. Never again. read more

I got very basic nails (regular polish pedicure, gel manicure) and they charged me $75. I can get better quality for less than this! Very Nice place... Nice staff. My only complaint is that I chose the regular pedicure which included a 10 minute massage. When she started painting my toenails I asked the technician if the massage was at the end, and she told me she had already done it. I recalled her doing about 2 minutes of a green scrub, and about 2 minutes of an oil massage (which she used to get the paraffin wax off with). I guess I was confused. Perhaps they should use timers like other places so that there is no confusion. If you don't mind the massage being skipped (which is personally my fav part) I would still recommend this place to someone. read more
