I am an opera singer who needed hair and makeup done for my headshot session. I wanted a look that would be glamorous, but still felt like me - and Alicia delivered. I asked for an elevated-natural makeup look with my hair in big loose mermaid-y curls, and she nailed it perfectly. The curls she created were absolutely gorgeous and held beautifully throughout the entire shoot. One of my favorite touches was the custom lashes she applied; she had options in multiple colors, which I didn't expect, and recommended I go with dark brown for a more natural, soft look (I'm very fair). They gave my lashes fullness and length but the color kept them soft. It was a thoughtful detail that really nailed my elevated-natural ask. Beyond her incredible talent, Alicia is just a genuinely warm, friendly, and fun person to be around. Getting your hair and makeup done can feel a little nerve-wracking before a big shoot, but she made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The conversation flowed easily and I felt completely at ease the entire time. It's no surprise that my photographer personally recommended her - the two of them are clearly a dream team! My photographs turned out beautifully, and I know Alicia's work played a huge role in that. If you're looking for a makeup artist who truly listens, brings incredible skill, and makes you feel like your best self - look no further! (I'll add a photo once I had an edited copy from the shoot.)

I felt like a princess all day on my wedding day and her work was a big part of that. Her communication was great through the entire process. During my glam session, she arrived on time, set up quickly, was very friendly and easy to get along with, was very organized, and even let me know during my makeup session what she was doing step by step, and what products she was using. She also let me pick the music playlist, and we had a lovely time chatting and listening to 2000-2010's pop & R&B. I also was grateful for her reasonable pricing that worked for my wedding budget! After the glam session, she took really nice photos of my final look, which I'm very happy to have as a keepsake. I would definitely recommend booking Alicia & LeeCe Stylz for your wedding or any hair & makeup artist needs!

(We were bridesmaids, but it was a big bridal party and we didn't want to be beholden to someone else's timeline and vendor choice.) After seeing Katie's work online, I knew she'd do a beautiful job, and she did! What I didn't know was: 1. She has mad hairstyle skills. My sister is very picky and wanted her hair in a very particular style. Not only did Katie deliver, but it stayed in place all night! 2. The makeup job is both gorgeous AND bulletproof. That shit is not running, smearing, or fading all night long! 3. She's super professional and considerate. She arrived on time, was extremely flexible working in a cramped space, and gave lots of consideration to the bride's needs, though we were her clients! I cannot recommend Katie enough! I can't wait until I have an opportunity to hire her again!

Katie came recommended by my wedding planner so I booked her for my California wedding in July and…read morepaid her $787 deposit to reserve my spot, despite not being able to do a trial with her first. The contract I signed with her stipulated a $500 fee for cancellation within 3 weeks of the event, she also assured me that if the trial was unsuccessful, she would refund the deposit. Upon completing my makeup trial in May (for which she charged an additional $600), I was unhappy with the final product and length of time (3 hours) it took Katie to complete my makeup. Consequently, I cancelled Katie for my wedding and kindly asked that she return my deposit at which point I was told that she would not refund any of the deposit despite the contract terms. After much back and forth she finally agreed to return 50% of the deposit but never followed through on her promise despite multiple follow-ups. Ultimately, I was out $1,387 because of my dealings with Katie Nash in addition to having to hire another makeup artist. My personal opinion is that there are much better makeup artists in the San Francisco area that cost less and more importantly- operate their businesses with integrity. Look elsewhere.

I knew Jenn was the one and was apprehensive that she wouldn't be able to fit me into her busy schedule, but I got lucky and she said yes (love you)! Jenn is an absolute a gem and AMAZING at her craft! My makeup and hair (especially my hair) was the talk of the night and I loved it so much. One of the things I loved most about Jenn was her patience with me. I am very particular and Jenn executed my vision just how I envisioned. She's a perfectionist herself so I had a lot of faith in her capabilities and boy did she deliver! She transformed me into a stunning bride and I felt so beautiful on my big day. My makeup was not cakey and did not melt off my face, it looked perfect even after 12+ hours of crying, smiling, and dancing. That says a lot about her skill and techniques. Another thing that I loved was the professionalism that her and her team provided. Throughout all the mayhem, the morning of the wedding, Jenn and her team were calm, cool, and collected. They are the kind of team you want on your side when you are freaking out at every little thing. Jenn was comforting and her assistants were just as friendly. My bridesmaids felt comfortable expressing what look they wanted and in the end, they all looked fantastic! After doing my makeup, Jenn even made time to do makeup for my mother-in-law which turned out incredible. You know your makeup artist is a winner when she's able to do the perfect natural look on mature skin. What more can I say about Jenn? I am truly in awe of her talent and would recommend her 1000%! So as I was planning my wedding and the last on my list was to find a MUA, I was struggling a bit to find someone who #1, would be able to perform the service on my wedding date and #2, someone who I can trust to have them beautify me on my special day. My husband knew my struggles so he started asking family and friends around. One day, he went out to play poker with his friends and started talking about the wedding planning. One of his friends mentioned his girlfriend is a MUA and that maybe I could reach out to her for a consultation and quote. Little did I know, that girlfriend of his was Jenn!! A long time friend who I haven't seen for over 10+ years!! Long story short, I booked Jenn for a trial and her service on my wedding. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Let me just say that Jenn is SUPER TALENTED. She knows exactly what makeup and hair will work with your face. She knows how to soften your features and make your eyes brighter. You only have to tell her what kind of look you want and she will exceed your expectations! Not only does she do amazing makeup, she can do gorgeous hairstyles as well. I had a "under the sea" themed wedding so I didn't want anything too over the top for my hair. She said let's go for a natural, flowy waves to match the theme. After the make up and hair was done, I was stoked to see myself in the mirror. It's was perfect, exactly to my imagination. Every single one of my friends and family loved it. They said I looked flawless and the makeup and hair lasted all day with no smudges or smears. Jenn is very professional when it comes to her work, and she is very approachable, super sweet, and honest. I felt very comfortable around her. She listens to your concerns and definitely delivers. It was the one of the best decisions I made and easily one of the best vendors I worked with for my wedding. Don't hesitate, book her now! Jenn is SO WORTH IT and you won't regret it! Xoxo Vickie

There are two main components I think are important to emphasize about her work- her makeup skills, and her energy. Regarding makeup - our initial trial was thorough and very detailed. I was adamant that even though I was putting together an Indian wedding with heavy outfits, I wanted all my makeup looks to be as natural and timeless as possible with elements of fun.
