Is it possible to already know who you want your wedding HMUA to be before you are even engaged?…read moreYes! Jenn is one of those vendors. I knew Jenn was the one and was apprehensive that she wouldn't be able to fit me into her busy schedule, but I got lucky and she said yes (love you)! Jenn is an absolute a gem and AMAZING at her craft! My makeup and hair (especially my hair) was the talk of the night and I loved it so much. One of the things I loved most about Jenn was her patience with me. I am very particular and Jenn executed my vision just how I envisioned. She's a perfectionist herself so I had a lot of faith in her capabilities and boy did she deliver! She transformed me into a stunning bride and I felt so beautiful on my big day. My makeup was not cakey and did not melt off my face, it looked perfect even after 12+ hours of crying, smiling, and dancing. That says a lot about her skill and techniques. Another thing that I loved was the professionalism that her and her team provided. Throughout all the mayhem, the morning of the wedding, Jenn and her team were calm, cool, and collected. They are the kind of team you want on your side when you are freaking out at every little thing. Jenn was comforting and her assistants were just as friendly. My bridesmaids felt comfortable expressing what look they wanted and in the end, they all looked fantastic! After doing my makeup, Jenn even made time to do makeup for my mother-in-law which turned out incredible. You know your makeup artist is a winner when she's able to do the perfect natural look on mature skin. What more can I say about Jenn? I am truly in awe of her talent and would recommend her 1000%! BOOK her!

Jenn and I go way back, back to our teenage days when we were both wild and free (ok, maybe not the…read morewild part but you get what I mean). So as I was planning my wedding and the last on my list was to find a MUA, I was struggling a bit to find someone who #1, would be able to perform the service on my wedding date and #2, someone who I can trust to have them beautify me on my special day. My husband knew my struggles so he started asking family and friends around. One day, he went out to play poker with his friends and started talking about the wedding planning. One of his friends mentioned his girlfriend is a MUA and that maybe I could reach out to her for a consultation and quote. Little did I know, that girlfriend of his was Jenn!! A long time friend who I haven't seen for over 10+ years!! Long story short, I booked Jenn for a trial and her service on my wedding. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Let me just say that Jenn is SUPER TALENTED. She knows exactly what makeup and hair will work with your face. She knows how to soften your features and make your eyes brighter. You only have to tell her what kind of look you want and she will exceed your expectations! Not only does she do amazing makeup, she can do gorgeous hairstyles as well. I had a "under the sea" themed wedding so I didn't want anything too over the top for my hair. She said let's go for a natural, flowy waves to match the theme. After the make up and hair was done, I was stoked to see myself in the mirror. It's was perfect, exactly to my imagination. Every single one of my friends and family loved it. They said I looked flawless and the makeup and hair lasted all day with no smudges or smears. Jenn is very professional when it comes to her work, and she is very approachable, super sweet, and honest. I felt very comfortable around her. She listens to your concerns and definitely delivers. It was the one of the best decisions I made and easily one of the best vendors I worked with for my wedding. Don't hesitate, book her now! Jenn is SO WORTH IT and you won't regret it! Xoxo Vickie

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Alicia for a headshot photo session and I cannot…read morerecommend her highly enough! I am an opera singer who needed hair and makeup done for my headshot session. I wanted a look that would be glamorous, but still felt like me - and Alicia delivered. I asked for an elevated-natural makeup look with my hair in big loose mermaid-y curls, and she nailed it perfectly. The curls she created were absolutely gorgeous and held beautifully throughout the entire shoot. One of my favorite touches was the custom lashes she applied; she had options in multiple colors, which I didn't expect, and recommended I go with dark brown for a more natural, soft look (I'm very fair). They gave my lashes fullness and length but the color kept them soft. It was a thoughtful detail that really nailed my elevated-natural ask. Beyond her incredible talent, Alicia is just a genuinely warm, friendly, and fun person to be around. Getting your hair and makeup done can feel a little nerve-wracking before a big shoot, but she made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The conversation flowed easily and I felt completely at ease the entire time. It's no surprise that my photographer personally recommended her - the two of them are clearly a dream team! My photographs turned out beautifully, and I know Alicia's work played a huge role in that. If you're looking for a makeup artist who truly listens, brings incredible skill, and makes you feel like your best self - look no further! (I'll add a photo once I had an edited copy from the shoot.)

I felt like a princess all day on my wedding day and her work was a big part of that. Her communication was great through the entire process. During my glam session, she arrived on time, set up quickly, was very friendly and easy to get along with, was very organized, and even let me know during my makeup session what she was doing step by step, and what products she was using. She also let me pick the music playlist, and we had a lovely time chatting and listening to 2000-2010's pop & R&B. I also was grateful for her reasonable pricing that worked for my wedding budget! After the glam session, she took really nice photos of my final look, which I'm very happy to have as a keepsake. I would definitely recommend booking Alicia & LeeCe Stylz for your wedding or any hair & makeup artist needs!

Stephanie made the coordination process very easy, prices are reasonable, she was responsive and extremely professional! On the day of the wedding she was punctual and ready to get busy- to my surprise we were all ready ahead of time, which never happens with my friends, we are always the ones arriving fashionably late! Stephanie really listened to what look we were all going for and everyone looked beautiful. If you are looking for make-up for your next event I would most definitely recommend Stephanie! On the wedding day, all of the makeup artists (Jane, Jasmine, and Erika) were so friendly and accommodating of the requests of the family members I had booked for HMU services. Talented and friendly hair and makeup artist located in Union Square!…read more I was in search of bridal hair and makeup services back in October 2025. I reached out to many people, but Mei's husband, Robert, was the first person to respond to my inquiry and have availability for my wedding day. I paid a total of $475 for my hair and makeup trial and for my hair and makeup the day of my wedding. I did my hair and makeup trial in December 2025. I asked for a makeup look that was "me but fancier" and a simple low bun with face framing pieces. Mei listened and delivered with a natural makeup look and a cute bun that I absolutely loved. She made me feel extra beautiful. She even helped me start sewing the comb to my veil. I booked hair and makeup services for my wedding day after doing the trial with her. For the wedding hair and makeup, note that they may not be able to come to your hotel. Robert told me that they did not have a driver available to bring Mei to the hotel the day of my wedding, so I had to go to their studio. For me, this wasn't a big deal because my hotel was just a quick 2-stop bus ride down the street. I booked an 8 AM appointment for March 2026 and I arrived a little earlier. Mei was already there so we were able to start a little before 8 AM for my hair and makeup. She recreated the whole look from the trial flawlessly and even helped me place and pin my wedding veil. In total, it took about 1 hour for my hair and makeup. Mei's hands are very skillful and efficient, but gentle at the same time. My hair and makeup looked amazing in person and in the photos. I ended up crying a few times during my ceremony and reception, so I accidentally dislodged one false eyelash. That's OK though because it was easy to put it back on with the help of my friends and eyelash glue. Overall, I loved the service I received from Mei and highly recommend her to anyone looking for bridal hair and makeup in SF!

I reached out to her via email and she responded very quickly to my inquiry. It was $650 for both me and my mom, which is really a great price, like my sister hired someone else and she was more expensive for the same service. It took her 2 hours to finish hair and makeup for for both of us. I loved the way our looks turned out for both of us! Especially my mom, Jessie made her look incredible and she was absolutely stunning in the photos. I thought at first that Jessie made her eyebrows too dark so I asked her to make them a bit lighter and she was saying that the darkened eyebrows make her look younger, I didn't see it that way at first in person, but then in the pictures later, I realized Jessie was right. The darker eyebrows really did make my mom look younger! So just trust her yall haha! Also I appreciated that she didn't make me feel bad about my acne-ridden skin (grad school stress shows up easily on my face) Would definitely recommend Jessie as a solid choice for HMUA in the Bay Area!

It was either super cakey, the makeup style didn't suit me, or the foundation/eyeshadow shades didn't match my skin tone at all. But Jessie did an amazing job and I was actually pleasantly surprised that there was nothing I was upset about LOL. I was also really impressed by how quickly Jessie works! Usually just my hair alone can take someone an hour to complete, but Jessie always has both my hair and makeup done within about 75 minutes. She's also very prompt with her arrival, if not a little early, which I always appreciate because it means I'm completely ready with plenty of time before my photoshoots begin. I had such a great experience working with her both times and am looking forward to working with her again for future photoshoots!
