I haven't had the best luck finding great bubble tea in Columbus, but this place has been the best I've tried so far. The aesthetics are nice. It has cute decorations, very colorful and the menus are nice to look at. They have a ton of options and variety of drinks you can order, which is really nice. My friends and I ordered roasted oolong, Oreo Creme brûlée and passion fruit with boba. I love that you can choose a variety of toppings and modify your sweetness level. The drinks overall were good but not great. The boba also tasted kind of old, since their texture felt off and they weren't as soft as I prefer. They were a bit chewy with a hard center. The price seems standard compared to other places in the area, though I still feel it's overpriced for the quality. The best perk is the parking is free! If you're craving bubble tea I recommend checking this place out.
If you want a quick Bubble Tea shop, this is the place for you. The bright, airy colors of the shop just make you feel on cloud 9. The staff were friendly and very quick at making out milk teas. I ordered the Taro Milk Tea, it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend stop asap!
Place This place was a cute aesthetic and I enjoyed all the cartoons plastered all over the walls haha Service The service was good and there explanation of different drinks Food/price This is a boba place and the price is normal $5-7 price. I have to be honest but this is not my favorite boba place but I appreciated the theme. Some people are vivi fans so I encourage people to try something new! Audience I went with a friend after a wedding and it was a perfect drink to share to keep us awake on the drive back. Sometimes you need that extra sugar to keep us awake haha Recommendation/tips There's parking so that's a plus
I've been a regular at this spot since I first stopped in! I love their peach oolong cold brew and mango boba. I think their tea is considerably less sweet than I've had at comparable places and it's much more enjoyable to me. The staff is always friendly and for the most part it's always clean. A little bit more waiting space would be great, but overall this is a solid experience.
I haven't had Vivi Bubble Tea in a while. The space is cute, and they offer a variety of topping options for the drinks. I personally liked their fruit tea more, and I usually take 30% sugar & less ice for my drinks.
This is such a cute spot. The drink I got was delicious. The lady who took my order was very nice too !
So if you drink a little too much Vivi As in, if you drink as much as Me-me You'll say within a minute "Where's the bathroom", then be in it As you desperately expel your pee-pee. This Vivi has really nice employees, although they were unable to make anything differently to the way it's supposed to be on the menu which was a little bit of a shame. However there special fruity is really delicious and it tasted every bit as good as it did in New York. So well done to them for recommending it to me and for whipping it up as good as New York does. Nice Decor in here as well and it's definitely a cute place to hang out. If you're Dr. Watson, it's the ELEMENTARY-VI If you have 2 lovers, wanna make it THREE-VI? Vivi's is one of my favorite boba spots. I recommend their milk based teas and floats. They have a wide variety of flavors and toppings that you can choose from. Compared to KFT and Chatime, I like their milk teas here more than the fruit flavored ones. This is a good spot for small groups, kids, and to take a break. There is WiFi available and a few board games. Their prices ranged from $4.00-$5.50 depending on what toppings you get. You can also customize your ice and sugar levels. There is a parking lot available and plenty of spaces. Drink up!
I frequently order the bubble milk tea (which has pearls) or the vivi milk tea which is without pearls, pleased that they get my ratio right--70 percent sweet and regular ice. The key to good boba is having ratios down to a tee--and only a boba lover would know (something to keep in mind when trying out a new boba spot) Overall pleased with my experience. I always do a mobile order via grubhub or doordash to skip long wait times on a busy day.
continuing on my brown sugar hunt, this has to be the best place in columbus that offers the most legit and real brown sugar milk that does not skip on adding the syrup, aka the most important part of the brown sugar boba. and the torched sugar on top? iconic. a big highlight is the stamp cards, so if you're an addict like me, then coming back for the brown sugar boba is killing two birds with one stone. a drawback is that the tapioca itself are just regular tapioca, and they do not offer brown sugar tapioca which is like a little extra, but it would enhance the flavor of the brown sugar boba. i think the price is like okkk, its like 5.25/6.25 big tip: if you get the brown sugar boba, ask for the lid like the sealed lid so you can shake it up because they come default as cup lids and its like so hard to mix the brown sugar with the milk. I personally like the brown sugar with just regular milk cus with just my experience with brown sugar, getting milk tea just de-enhances the main flavor, the brown sugar. (fyi i did not try the option with milk tea at vivis) i think JUST milk compliments the brown sugar perfectly but thats just my opinion uwu
Plenty of milky, tea, and slush options. I got a fruity yogurty large sized drink for $5.91. All have a lot of sugar. Really charming inside space done up in matching innocent childlike bright colors.

Literally can't do anything right. I asked for small and they said they have non and then they proceeded to charge me for a MEDIUM BUT GAVE ME A SMALL. Then they didn't even put tapioca in it when they charged and I asked for it. My drink was milk with crushed up Oreos read more

The place has very interesting decorations. There's lots of pictures of their logos on the walls and some pictures of the different drinks they offer. They're funny to look at. I ordered a Thai iced tea with bubbles. The iced tea itself tasted good. However, the bubbles were poorly done. They were really hard. One nice thing is that if you check in on Facebook they give you a dollar off. Service was good since they actually ask you about that so they make sure everyone who can do it has the opportunity to save money. Parking should be ok, it can get crowded though, the strip mall parking lot isn't very big. read more

This place is amazing and so adorable. The matcha bubble tea with mango pop balls are amazing!! They've taken covid so seriously, the most out of any business I've seen. They're so nice when you go in as well and they're prices are on par! Definitely a bang for your buck! read more

I love this place!!! If you know me, you know I'm a diehard Vivi's stan. The tea is great and affordable, it's such a cute place to chill and the employees are so nice. I'm not a huge milk tea gal, so I can only speak on their fruit teas. However, their fruit tea series is amazing (especially the kumquat lemon). There's chia seeds, lychee and some actual fruit pieces added (apples, oranges, you name it!). I haven't really seen this at any other boba joints in Columbus so it's definitely refreshing. I also really enjoyed the Blue Galaxy. The interior is so cute and aesthetically pleasing (a plus in my book). It's a nice place to chill and catch up with friends or you could play some board games while you're sipping on your tea. read more

Having lived on the "left coast" for years where bubble tea establishments are as common as Starbucks we were delighted to find a few such places in Columbus and decided to try Vivi. Ambiance First of all, they have a parking lot. Huge plus. The interior is incredibly cute (see photos). Lots of pinks and cute decorations throughout. They advertise free WiFi, but the password didn't work. Since we didn't stay long we didn't ask staff (and the staff seemed a little... clueless? See below). Service The staff were friendly, but they both seemed a little clueless about the menu and honestly seemed to have some communication difficulties/English problems. They seemed to genuinely be trying, though. Food There are so many drinks to choose from (see menu photos). You can customize your ice and sugar levels too (in percentages all the way down to zero percent sugar) which is classic for bubble tea places. For 50 cents extra you can add "bubbles"/boba which are tapioca pearls or pudding which is a lightly flavored egg pudding with a consistency sort of like soft jello. We tried the almond milk tea with zero sugar and pudding. Very good. The tea flavor really comes through, and the pudding added a pleasant sweetness. The pudding adds some sugar, but even with zero sugar in the tea it tasted very good. We also had a honeydew tea with boba/"bubbles" and 30% sugar. The staff seemed to be explaining that there is sugar in the melon syrup, so it's not exactly 30% sugar, but it was hard to understand. This drink also had a great flavor with the melon flavor overwhelming the tea a bit. The boba were perfectly chewy and not mushy at all. Mojo This is very good bubble tea in a very cute environment! read more
Vivi is a very cute and chill place to hang out with friends and they also have a variety of games (scrabble, connect 4, etc.) I got the mango green tea with jelly and although I asked for 30% sugar, I feel like they didn't lessen the sugar at all so it was a very sweet drink for me. Other than that, Vivi has improved in a lot of areas since its opening and I'll be back to try their other drinks. read more

My friend had been raving about this place for a while and I went with her when I finally had the chance. I was pleasantly surprised, the decor is very cute. I love the one piece theme, any fan is sure to smile seeing the cute cutout of Brook. The boba here is great too, so far I've had the Thai tea with tapioca pearls; my go to. It was great, my only problem was there were too many pearls for my personal taste but it's a non issue because you can customize how much sugar and pearls you want. I've also had the mango slush with popping pearls, it was absolutely DELICIOUS!! Can't wait to go back! read more

Y'all know enough about bubble teas, let's talk comparisons now. If we had to rank Cbus bubble teas thus far, ViVi would probably be a close second to KFT and ChaTime would be the last choice. Vivi is cute and boasts interesting drink choices to set it apart from other bubble tea shops such as the color changing blue galaxy (that apparently tastes like lychee Lemon) or milk tea drinks like "tiramisu" (which a friend noted tasted like an underwhelming coffee beverage) ... so while the unique concept is there, the drinks probably don't deliver as much as KFT drinks do. I've noticed milk teas here taste a little more watered down and less creamy. The tea flavor comes through a bit more but I love a good creamy froth to my milk tea drinks so thats primarily why I say KFT beats it out in taste. When KFT CBUS finally rolls out the loyalty phone app program (cmon, we've all been begging for months...), I can't imagine venturing back here or ChaTime unless I'm in the area. Its north campus location makes it a much easier option for OSU students than KFT. Still... KFT drinks reign supreme. Come take cute pics here though! The shop definitely wins in the cuteness factor :) read more

All four of the teas that I tried were amazing. The strawberry one and chocoberry one were my favorites, and I'm very likely to get them again next time I'm in Cbus. The fruit teas are very strongly flavored and aromatic, while the milk teas are more mellow. Some of the specialty drinks have additional novelties, for example the Chocoberry Cookie had oreo crumbles in it which gave another fun texture. Some others have cream, tapioca, jelly or pudding as well. Prices are reasonable, and although the space is on the small end, there are plenty of tables with outlets inside which you could work at. There are many different teas to try from, and you can customize them some based on how much ice, sugar and extra toppings you want. If you ever plan on stopping by I recommend bringing some friends and getting a few different selections to share, as there's really a lot of good options to explore. Both the jelly and boba have a nice texture to them, so definitely give them a try if you've never had bubble tea before. read more
This place is super cute! There are a ton of bubble tea options - both milk tea and non milk tea. I didn't realize there was a sweetness level you could choose from, so my drink came out to be super sweet. However, next time I will definitely get less sweetener. Overall, quick service and great drink options for all! read more

And while we were at the taste of orient, we went over the get some bubble tea... we got one thai milk tea one regular bubble tea and another Thai milk tea with jelly. We haven't been in there in a while and to see how they have it set up for covid restrictions made us feel safe. They were a little bit busy but still pretty quick. None the less, our drinks were tasty, friendly staff. read more

Got a chance to try the blue galaxy and the melon milk tea. I highly recommend both of them especially if you like juicy melons and juicy mullets. Rain or shine it's always a good choice to get an order from Vivi bubble tree. read more

Bubble tea for the win!!! I just love a refreshing bubble tea whether I'm starting the day or ending it, you can never go wrong with an ice cold tea. I decided to stop at Vivi for this beautiful and famous blue Galaxy drink I have been seeing. I'm a sucker for anything colorful and cool looking. I walked in and was greeted by the super friendly staff. They explained some of their specials and promptly took my order. I got the blue Galaxy. I was nervous about the sugar because they have many options for how much or how little. I got it regular since I was trying it for the first time and that ended up being ok. I reccomend getting less ice though. This tea took a minute to make and they have a very special instruction sheet on how to mix it before you drink. I loved that step one was "take a picture". This drink is absolutely gorgeous and does look like the galaxy. The next steps involve shaking and watching for the color change. Once its mixed the colors wont be layered. Overall this drink was very pretty and extremely tasty. They have a large menu and tons of flavors. One that stood out was the tiramisu, I need to go back and try that. I highly recommend this place is your looking for a good tea. read more
