We will not ever use this company as it's clear they can't read. At 7:00 pm, they approached our door, rang the doorbell (which has a no soliciting sign right above it) and we had a sleeping 5 week old. They woke our baby up and still left this card on our door after clearly not reading, or following, the no soliciting sign that is clearly posted.

This is the second time I've used Vivax, and once again they exceeded my expectations! The first time was 12 years ago, and that paint job held up beautifully. When it was time to repaint, I didn't hesitate to hire them again--and they did not disappoint. From the initial consultation through the final walkthrough, the entire process was professional and seamless. The quality of their work is outstanding, their warranty is excellent, and they are incredibly responsive whenever a warranty touch-up is needed. It's refreshing to work with a company that truly stands behind its work. I highly recommend Vivax to anyone looking for a high-quality painting contractor.

We had our home's exterior painted by Vivax and the experience was excellent. Scotty was great to work with during the sales process, Max did a great job managing the project and communicating throughout, and Eder and his crew were incredibly professional and thorough. The house looks fantastic, and we're extremely happy with the results. I would highly recommend!

I chose Vivax for my exterior window trim repair project mostly because they painted my home a few years ago and I was hoping to get some of the repair covered by warranty. The estimator was knowledgeable and easy to work with. He identified the areas were covered under warranty and which weren't. I feel like I was given a fair deal. The work crew was friendly and respectful of my property. They did a great job and completed the project on time. I would definitely recommend this company.

We had our home painted by Vivax this past season and the entire process was amazing! It's hard to find companies these days that offer great customer service and actually do exactly what they say they are going to do. Everyone that we interacted with throughout the process was friendly and extremely helpful. Our Project Planner was very informative and helpful. He assisted us with recommending colors, and even gave us some advice on how we could save some money by slightly altering the color scheme of how the trim was painted. Next, when we met Seth, our Project Manager, to coordinate the project everything went smoothly. He pointed out a handful of things that they were going to do and a few areas that they were going to give some extra love to. Specifically we had one area that had a ton of nail holes that the previous painter did not caulk and fill. Seth also pointed out that they were going to paint the underside of the first few rows of siding too. Our house was painted in a matter of days and looks awesome! There was no mess left by the paint crew and they were professional and efficient. There were no up front deposits or contracts on the back of a business card. We did not have to pay a penny until the job was complete and we were happy. A truly professional and respectable company! After receiving the payment Seth even helped us with recommending paint colors for the interior of our house even though we were going to be painting the inside ourselves. It was worth paying a little more to have the peace of mind of a 4-year warranty and for the exception customer service. The warranty says their are no strings attached and coming from a company like Vivax I believe it. As a side note, our neighbors painted their house on their own and it took them over 2 weeks, does not look as good as ours and they said they had to use their vacation time from work. Our house took three days and we got to enjoy our weekends. Our neighbors said next time they are going to have it professionally done. Great job Vivax! read more

Our experience with Vivax Pros was exemplary from start to finish...from our initial meeting with Robbie Lynch, working with Project Managers Gerardo Villalon (wood) and Jessica Dietz (paint) to the work by the prep and painting crews and their foreman Antonio. Process was well-organized and easy, extensive communication, timeline was as promised (even with some rain), all were highly professional and respectful, accommodated our need to have access to the backyard for our new puppy, quality of the work was excellent. At final walk-through, Jessica was as picky as we were in identifying the last touch-ups needed. We didn't pay a cent until after the project was completed to our satisfaction. Price was fair for the work done. We chose Vivax primarily for the extensive prep work they do prior to painting and their excellent warranty. We are absolutely delighted with their work and their customer service. Our house looks beautiful! read more

Overall we are pleased with the outcome. The reason that I am giving them a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because of the mess that was left behind. In my opinion good housekeeping plays an essential role in any successful painting/construction business. The project manager offered to come back in a couple of days to clean up, but after a several day project we did not want to wait a couple more days to have our privacy back. But I would recommend their services to friends and family. read more

I actually would have considered Vivax Pros after working with them when I was a property manager, however if a company cannot follow the basic rules of posted covenant controlled communities then they are not to be trusted. My neighborhood clearly states that ALL solicitors must have a letter from our HOA before they are allowed to solicit business. About 2 weeks ago I told a representative to leave the subdivision and today their rep named Nick told be to go ahead and call the BBB he did not care. I called Vivax corporate office and spoke to marketing. read more

From start to finish, with very few hiccups, this company is the real deal. VivaxPros are Colorado only, family owned, read reviews and impressed with BBB Torch Awards. After 3-bids submitted, VivaxPros was selected for a community project I live in. They provided separate estimates so the HOA BOD could make a solid decision which projects to accomplish. Project consisted of painting of Limited Common Elements (LCE) a house and garage, replaced shutters, installed gutters and stained 4-decks. All VivaxPros staff members involved, with this project, were nothing but very professional, having the highest degree accommodating, aimed to please and to provide complete satisfaction. read more

I had my house exterior painted in August 2011 by Vivax Pros. At the time I bought two coats because my location at the base of the mountains means my house can get hit by a lot of wind and weather. Their standard warranty at the time was 4 years, which is good, but I went ahead and bought their 7 year warranty. They did an outstanding job of painting my home and I was very satisfied with the results. It looked great. This month...and here we are, five years later...I had some paint peeling on my porch railings from all that weather, and also there was a small area on one of my garage doors where the paint had come off. I contacted Vivax Pros. They had their warranty manager come out, and he walked around the house with me and looked everything over, and then he sent a painter out to take care of those spots I mentioned. Well, here is how it turned out: they did a fine job of painting the problem spots on the porch and the garage doors, but they only painting in the affected areas. It turned out not looking that good because after five years the color of the paint had faded, so the spot on the garage door and the spots on the porch kind of stood out like a sore thumb. So, it looked good, but not in a good way, if you know what I mean. Their Warranty Director sent me an email saying they had finished the work and were closing out the warranty request and it was very polite and nice. I replied and told them about how it looked good but not in a good way because of the problem I mentioned in the last paragraph. I received an email from her saying thanks for the candid feedback and that she would pass it on to the Warranty Manager. He emailed me and simply asked the exact numbers for the paint colors to make sure he got it right. I sent him the numbers. They made an appointment for the painter to come out and he did come out and painted my entire front porch railings and everything, and then he not only painted the one garage door, but painted both my garage doors! The results were fantastic! It looked wonderful. I got to talk to the painter for a bit and was impressed with his affability, his professionalism, and the excellent job he did. To sum it up: I highly recommend Vivax Pros for painting your house! Not only do they do a great job, but they are very pleasant, very professional, and they stand behind their work. They make customer service a top priority. If you are not happy, they will bend over backwards to make sure they make it right for you. As far as I am concerned, we see too little of that in this industry, so I am happy to be able to let you know that there is a company like Vivax Pros out there that is not only top notch with their work, but is also top notch with their customer service and warrantys! They are a breath of fresh air. read more

I recently wrote a scathing review of this business. I can't edit that, so I'm writing this to provide an accurate reflection of my experience with this business. In the end, I am very happy with Vivax Pros and the service they provided. I would recommend them to friends and to readers of this review. I gave them 4 stars rather than 5 because of the frustrations along the way. I think they are having an unusually busy summer of painting. Most importantly, when it was clear that I was a dissatisfied customer, they did everything they could to make it right, which is admirable for any business. I appreciate and am impressed by that level of service! They really do pride themselves in work well done and kept at it until I was satisfied. It's also worth noting that the work came with a nine year guarantee. I hope I never have to use it, but it's good to know it's there. The quoted price was very reasonable compared to competitors as well. read more

In my initial conversations with the Vivax rep I was told that the cost to me would not be more than $5000 (my deductible) out of pocket--probably less. I was told that Vivax would take whatever the insurance company pays for the work, plus my deductible. Later on, when I needed help interpreting the insurance company statement of the claim, I had a call with a Vivax rep who again reassured me that what it all added up to was that I was responsible for $5000 less payment for fence and paint damage (that insurance paid at a depreciated because we weren't fixing them). So I was going to pay around $3,200-3,500 total. No one ever explained to me what unrecoverable depreciation is or mentioned its affect on the bottom line until Jamaya explained the final bill. That bill had me owing over $10,000 because the insurance company didn't pay for something called "unrecoverable depreciation". I want to be fair. I realize that I am legally responsible for my relationship with my insurance company and that I should have asked them for an explanation of their statement. I asked Vivax people instead because they had told me that they were experts at dealing with insurance companies and would handle everything. That was my mistake. On the other hand, I received a clear and consistent promise from Vivax as to the out of pocket cost of the job. I do not think that I was intentionally misled. I do think that the information and advice I was given was a big mistake on their part. I agreed to a transaction with them based on a misleading presentation of the cost to me. I think that the ethical thing for them to do is to stand behind thier statements to me and absorb the cost of the unrecoverable depreciation. I have thought hard on this, and asked myself what I would do in this situation. That is what I would do. When I talked to the owner of the company about this, he agreed that a promise was made and he was not going to keep it. He said that there had been "a training issue that has since been addressed". He took $1,750 off the bill, leaving me paying $7813 instead of the amount that I was told the job would cost me--around $3200-3600. I know I should not have been so trusting, but I think that a business can make good money and still stand behind their promises. Why should I pay for Vivax's "training issue"? You judge whether you want to do business with Vivax. They do good work. My experience is that they are ethical if it doesn't affect the bottom line too much. read more

Whole home exterior paint job. Mediocre paint job at best. These guys pride themselves on how fast they can paint a house. This is not a good sign. To start the "power wash" was really bad. This of course led to problems later. If you decide to go with this company I'd recommend that you clean and caulk all windows / siding / nail holes etc. yourself. They will not strip old caulk. In their haste their caulking was really bad. Large gaps left I unfilled, nail hole pockets still noticeable with an occasional dob of caulk protruding (think small Hershey Kiss) where they didn't smooth the caulking out. On to the paint. Sherwin Williams Resilience, good quality no problems there. The areas that were spayed turned out really good. Nice even coat etc., except they dirty window sills (remember the poor power wash). I can understand that the power wash can't get to the upper windows however the painters didn't even make a effort to brush off the dirt and debris. They just painted over it. Looks bad. I didn't notice these during the final walk because they were top floor windows. Another blatant WTF moment was when I asked the "lead"painter (the Vivex rep / POC was not at the house) about his brush. The brush he was using on the windows and front door was so caked with paint that it had become basically a spatula. I've painted a lot of interior spaces over the past 30 years and I was appalled at this. Take some pride in your work gentlemen. Take care of your equipment and take your time to do it right the first time. 2.5 stars. Mediocre job at best. read more

Meant to post this review sooner. Vivax painted my house last Summer and did a nice job. Price was reasonable for this area. There were a few spots that needed some touch up work afterwards and the project manager, Stinnet, came out and did the work himself. He was very accommodating and came out when it was convenient for me. Id recommend Vivax. Ask for Stinnet if you can he is a great project manager. read more

I cannot say enough about this Colorado company and how great they were to work with! It went smoothly from start to finish. They're very thorough as you go through all the steps from the quote to the final walk around of the house after the painting is complete. I've never seen a warranty as complete as theirs. If anything gets chipped or is out of place they're there with no questions asked. Cruz and his family painted my house and they did an excellent job! He was so proud to be working with his wife and two sons. They were so friendly and made sure that everything was perfect. Thank you Vivax, I will spread the word! Erin W. read more

Do not use this company. They will hard sell you on the front end, do "so-so" job, but not follow up to their promise of fixing issues post job. We had our house painted less than 2 years ago and the paint is already peeling off. The only thing they offered is to come out and bid the whole house again. Unbelievable! These folks are scam artists! Use some other company. Do not use Vivax Pros. read more

August 30, 2017 Vivax Pros Complaint Update from 7/22/2017: Today, August 30, 2017 marks 60 days from what I called my Vivax Pros paint job "disaster" ! (It should be noted; I also use "VPs" as an acronym for the same.) Following the posting of my experience on YELP, I received a call from one of the owners of the company whose name is "Logan". As Logan was quite willing to listen to all I had to say and resolve each complaint, I agreed to temporarily take down my YELP comments while waiting for a "complete" resolve as promised by Logan. Many of you may remember me by my then description of VPs services as "wham bam, thank you ma'am!" - This is an update of that 'bad" experience. With weathering and hail storms for over thirteen years, my home was in desperate need of a painting uplift. I had received a flyer on my door from Vivax Pros and followed up on that flyer by making a few inquiries and phone calls into their services, reputation, rates and the quality of VP's finished product. Though the inquiries and comparisons showed VPs prices to be more expensive. Following my questions and the answers received, I chose Vivax Pros because I was impressed with the advertising and promise of guarantee as well as the empathy, concern and great customer service from my initial contact, Brittany. As I stated earlier this an "update" and for those "competitors" and "haters" of Vivax Pros, (such as I after the 30th of June), you are going to be disappointed because I am now "THRILLED" with the outcome of my newly painted home!! I feel PROUD AND HAPPY to drive up into my driveway knowing this "beauty" is MY home! ALL of my neighbors have complimented me on the appearance of my home, the excellence of the work and the beauty it provides within the neighborhood. Compliments, even from the neighbor who called the HOA, stating the previous color was the same as his, though it was not and it was also approved by the HOA. This fantastic and newly found "I feel good" experience with Vivax Pros is due to the committed efforts of excellence through its Management Team (Logan) and project Manager Skylan. I have provided several references to contact Vivax Pros as the Guarantee is the REAL DEAL and worth the extra money paid to have it! As with any conflict resolution, it's all about communication. During the process to resolve my issues with Vivax Pros and their commitment to "get it right", I was refunded every dime. Logan, Skylan and I cleaned the slate and started right at the beginning as though it was the first time I called for the work to be done. I would like to acknowledge Skylan, the project manager. With other companies, when a problematic issue exists, someone else other than the original manager is usually sent in to override, negotiate or take care of the situation. I give Skylan a tremendous amount of credit for being forthright and accountable for the outcome and "all issues" with the job. Skylan, stepped forward, and fixed every problem I had with the previous sub-contractors that were hired by VPs. We both admitted there were elements in the project that could have been handled better and Skylan, actually exceeded all expectations in getting those fixed. He was determined to make everything right and HE DID! For future customers, one critical thing I learned through this process is this: * Do not make your project a rush job. * Take the time, plan for a few extra days in case of weather changes, * Make one or two selections of paint schemes, * and most importantly, actually test the paint and how it appears ON THE HOUSE, the reflection of the sun can make a huge difference. This job was to be completed prior to the 4th of July Holiday - Everyone was in a hurry to get it done and out of the way, in order to get the Holiday weekend on. As such, we all disregarded the old saying: - HASTE MAKES WASTE! Lesson learned by all - Take the time to get it right the first time! Thank you Vivax Pros (Logan, Skylan and the 2nd paint team) for a job well done! Linda D. read more

I find it troublesome how many people work for this company who do not have anything to do directly with the painting of the house. There is the marketer, the salesperson, then all the teams of people "at the office" who are supposed to oversee the job. This resulted in miscommunication, confusion, and ultimately I fear the contract laborers who actually painted the house on ladders in the sun were not paid near enough. We were sold on Vivax because of all the prep work that was promised. This would not have happened if we were not frequently checking on their work and demanding the precision that was promised. The project manager did not inspect the prep work before painting began. Then he left the company before painting was complete! At one point one whole face of the house was painted the wrong color - due to lack of communication - and had to be redone. The actual painters were hardworking and willing to retouch all the areas we pointed out, but as I said, probably way under-compensated. I urge you to work with a smaller business where you can actually talk to the people who will be working on your house. read more

So far, the process has been pretty awesome. After having a terrible experience getting our windows done with American Exteriors (see my review for the full story), we were wary of Vivax, but the sales rep, Chelsea, put our minds at ease. Her sales tactics were super relaxed and low-key. We didn't feel pressured at any point during the estimate process. The pricing for our house and garage was very reasonable. Also, they only use high quality paint and have excellent warranties available. We can't wait to see our house transform into our dream home! read more

I have called Austin a Vivax production manager twice with no return of a phone call. This is in regards to our last conversation about him wanting to make it right since they screwed up and no one wanted to help me and we ended up putting our house painting project on hold while we went on vacation to Hawaii. Not sure what the return phone call policy is for but I think that I will pursue looking for the direct number to the owner of this company to hopefully get some answers on making things right according to them. I have a feeling that I won't be using this company in the future for any other painting needs nor will I be recommending them. Especially when he tells me that I can call him if I have questions for concerns. read more

We had our house painted September 8th and the entire experience from start to finish was very good and very professional. Since we had used this paint before we knew the quality was exceptional. The crew showed up at 7:30 am and had our entire house caulked, masked off and painted by 6 pm! We were expecting it to be a 2 day job. The crew was so good they even washed and scrubbed our deck for any over spray (there was none). Before they left they asked us to do a walk thru around the house to check their work. We have double wrought iron security doors that were white and had the crew paint them black with rust-oleum paint. They did such a great job--no one can tell they used to be white. Everyone thinks we got new doors. If you use Vivax we can definitely assure you that you will be happy with them. Bill & Elisa Smith read more

We had an extremely favorable experience re-roofing our home with Vivax Pros. We felt the transparency, integrity, and communication Vivax Pros offered was far and above any other contractor we had used in the past. Ryota, our project manager made us feel as if he cared about our home as much as he does his own and Arturo and his crew were kind and courteous. Overall, they seemed to have done a top notch job installing my new vinyl windows for my house. I can't really complain of the quality of the work so far. There was even a bit of small damage to the screen door, but they contacted Milgard and a representative was sent out yestarday that fixed what was in fact a warranty issue. They were even good enough to remove the ADT window sensors from the old window for me to have installed in the new windows. The two-year, no-interest financing from Enerbank was a definite plus too. There were two incidents that did prevent me from giving them a higher score though. One of the work crew made the mistake of standing in the kitchen sink while installing the kitchen window. This was one of these below the counter sinks and it detached from the granite under his weight. One of the installers was sent back after all the windows were done and attempted to fix the damage, but it was only a half-hearted attempt that failed to repair the problem. In the end, I had to fix it myself (with the help of a friend). The support clamps for the sink had in fact been bent and had to be bent back. Once that was done and the sink was re-calked, it was good as new. The other issue was their billing and book-keeping. Somehow, they failed to keep proper records of the final agreed price and there was a mixup in the payment. I got an invoice with a remaining balance due. I e-mailed them back and told them the actual agreed price and that they should have received payment in full from Enerbank for said agreed price. I've verified with Enerbank that they were paid in full. She said that she'd contact her project manager to inquire. That was over two weeks ago and I have not heard back from them since. I can only presume that that error was straightened out. read more

Ok so if you're looking for a painting company, my opinion is, DO NOT LOOK HERE! First off there are some really nice people that work for Vivax, they are great at sales and marketing! That's about where it ends. Keep in mind this is only based on the painting side of things. Nobody that comes out to look at your house has ever even been a painter. If you ask them to tape off trim, or cut a line, or even open a tube of caulking, they can not! They hire 100% sub contractors. Its really a crap shoot on which crew gets sent out. Some are ok but nobody is great. Very little prep, no pressure washing its really a quick rinse. Yes they use good products but when you're already overpaying its easy to give you lifetime paint. They actually test out crews using your home! So if you get a bad one, well you're still on the hook for the entire bill! They will keep sending out painters to your house until it eventually is good. Just know professionals get it right the first time and don't need to come back over and over again. Not to mention alot of the guys do speak English, but they pretend not to so they don't have to deal with your silly request. So then you have to call the project manager and deal with them. By the way project managers are really just paint delivery guys who try to smooze homeowners, make promises that the they don't communicate to crew members. So say you're paying 4500 for your exterior paint well vivax then turns around and offers the crew 30% of that number. So it really ties the hands of crew members to move in a quantity not quality pace. Very little caulking, scraping, priming all the things needed to have a long lasting quality job. If you bought a warranty yes they will send someone out eventually but that doesn't mean the paint will even match anymore due to fading. At that point they'll just keep sending someone out until you're sick of dealing with it and no longer care to call them back. So the real review is 3 stars for exterior and 1 star for interior. Beware of the fancy brochures, you're paying for them! Also these updated reviews, the customers were compisated for their upgraded review, so take it for what its worth. How do you go from 1 star to five when they have to send multiple crews? Good luck and happy painting! read more

We used Vivax to repaint our house and about a year later to replace our cedar shake roof with a beautiful stone coated steel roof. Estimate was about the same as two others. Carpenter came first to replace two boards - he asked my wife which two boards! Not a good start - he guessed, replaced a couple and left. Both my wife and I called Vivax - no return call to either of us. Powerwashing and painting both started many days late. No big deal by itself, but typical of the company's attention to detail. After painting started we noticed two broken mouldings, one missing and two that were hopelessly warped above a first floor roof on the side of the house. They were easily visible from the ground by just looking up. The estimator missed the whole section. They said they would replace them and tell us later what the cost was. Should have been quoted up front rather than turning this into a guessing game quote. The painters didn't paint the house - they colored it. Very thin coat, lightly applied, and VERY SLOPPY. - Terrible prep - ONE DAY AFTER PAINTING, MULTIPLE SPOTS ARE PEELING. - Many drips and full out spills on our new deck - they didn't attempt to remove the drips and just swished the stain around and made it worse. - Didn't prime new boards - just painted them. - Didn't bother to open exterior front, back and patio doors to paint the 1/4" that hits the insulation - one door was new and is still white around the edges instead of green. - Completely missed many trim boards - unpainted. Some were painted halfway and they just left them! - All kinds of slop-over on the trim - on all sides of the house. - Drips and spills on the concrete porch and sidewalk in front. Paint sprayed on to brick where their tape wasn't holding. - 50%+ of all vinyl windows had visible to ridiculous slop-over on them - amazing that they could leave some of them - easily visible from way out by the street. - Paint drips on patio screen door - just smeared around. - Many other issues of sloppiness and carelessness They left two days ago. I emailed them (calling gets no response) that morning - no response. We haven't paid yet. We're getting estimates on fixing the problems and will pay Vivax only the difference. Vivax has clearly gotten very busy recently and they are simply coloring houses, not painting them, then moving on as fast as they can. Go with a local, much smaller company - you're much more likely to get a good job and responses from the company. read more

We needed to get our home painted for some time. I think it had never been done before we purchased. Our house was in sad shape, vivax left a flyer on our door, so I thought I would give them a shot. The process was easy at first. Sales rep comes and gives an initial estimate on wood work/ paint etc. power wash occurs, then wood work starts. I got very frustrated with the wood work process. The work seemed never ending, wether they missed something I had paid for and had to come back out and do it again, or I pointed things out that clearly should have been replaced from the start of the project. I am not a wood worker, so that should tell you that some of the things they missed were painfully obvious. On to painting, the guys were nice, but Matt, my sales rep told me the painters used wood filler to help fix the wood that was repairable, However, I only ever saw them use caulking. No wood filler was ever used that I saw. They did fine but i think they move too quickly and missed small things that can easily be fixed. I recently had to re-caulk around our back door as it was never done in the first place, so the paint bubbled up from the moisture getting behind it, so I had to redo it myself. Also, there was virtually no clean up, except for cleaning up tape and paper off the ground. Even then i still found leftover paper here and there weeks later. They do not cover the driveway, so there were paint splotches all over the cement as well. I was picking up nails left in the drive way, and found all the thumb screws i asked to be removed from the window frames scattered all over the front yard. I am still finding little things that were rushed, or not completely finished a year later. I can tell you that the people are all very nice and seem very willing to please, but unless you are very patient, and willing to voice your opinion, I may have fallen off the radar completely. I felt like I had to micro manage the whole project, so it became very stressful for me as a whole. In the end, I still feel like it could have gone smoother and feel a little bamboozled. I wish it would have been a more enjoyable experience. They tried to appease my frustrations. However, i wish I had never been frustrated in the first place. I am still finding left over trash and scraps that the wood workers threw under my deck, also I am finding more areas that are in need of serious touch up work, especially near the roof and areas that are not easily seen from the ground level. I am finding areas where they painted over tape, or missed small sections completely, now the tape under the paint is peeling off so I have to re caulk and touch up paint on my own time... So disappointed. You get what you pay for I guess. They move too fast and lose track of the details. I would not recommend these guys. Save up and use someone else. read more

I have a civic duty to my fellow Yelpers to give Vivax a well-earned one star rating. CONCLUSION: DO NOT USE VIVAX FOR ANY REASON, EVER. DON'T USE THEM EVEN IF THEY OFFER TO DO THE WORK FOR FREE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. PRO-ish: They gave me a price break to fix the thousands of errors their crew created and avoid getting sued. (And now -- months later -- I wish I'd received an even greater price break, as I continue to find more problems and realize that some problems -- such as paint in grout -- cannot be fixed.) CONS: Inexperienced, unskilled, careless crew. Sales rep lied and tried to re-negotiate the contract after his crew did an atrocious job on my house. DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO THINK THAT SCOTT-FROM-VIVAX'S RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW MEANS THAT ANYTHING IS OKAY. His "offer" to correct what his crews repeatedly failed to correct over the course of TWO WEEKS amounts to NOTHING. Vivax is a LEGEND among painters in the Denver area. Read on, and you'll see why this excuse for "customer service" makes a mockery of the term. And if Scott wants to call me on this, rest assured that I have literally thousands of pictures and hours of video -- including of the sales rep lying to my face -- that I'd be happy to show him and any court in which he'd like to discuss matters. I started writing this review two days into what was supposed to be a 5-day job. They never finished -- instead, it ended two weeks later with me cutting a check to the regional manager and telling him that NEITHER HE NOR HIS CREW WAS TO EVER SET FOOT ON MY PROPERTY AGAIN. They left behind massive piles of trash and countless paint drips on the floors, counters, mirrors, heater vents, tile grout, windows...everywhere. The crew consisted of 2 to 7 people who changed from one day to the next. I never knew who was going to show up or for how long and whether anyone spoke any English at all. (fortunately I speak Spanish), and the sales rep had no idea what they were doing and didn't care. You'd think the guy with the impact driver would have reduced the torque setting after he stripped the first 11 screws in the door hinges, but nooooo. Vivax does not use brushes and rollers, which apply much more paint to the walls. Instead, they spray everything, which is faster and saves them money by using less paint, but the coverage is terrible. They had to re-shoot one room FOUR TIMES. That's how thin the paint sprays on. The crew taped the edges and then CUT (not pulled) it away, leaving painted tape behind. The problem is that the blue edge of the tape, while thin, is still visible, especially in the corners, where tape from adjoining walls overlap. Also, this crew had NO IDEA how to re-texture walls. Their problem began with buying the wrong spray-on texture, and (of course) it went downhill from there. I don't have energy to write at length about the freshly-laid hardwood floors, so I'll just say that the Vivax crew knew they needed to be careful and the sales rep promised me that they would triple-cover the floors. Yet the crew didn't give a hoot and inflicted plenty of damage. Similarly, can't go into detail about all the problems I encountered, from dishonesty to carelessness to damage caused by the Vivax crew. Suffice it to say, they are the worst company I've ever dealt with in my life, and you would be a complete fool to hire them to do anything. read more

In a few words, perhaps serving as a metaphor for the entire experience: Vivax's sloppy painters left razor blades in our children's sandbox. On top of this, without asking permission, they sprayed highly toxic pesticides around our property (leaving the cans scattered in their wake) - we have a toddler and I was also pregnant at the time, and who knows if the spray also spread to our vegetable garden? Finally, the project manager was almost entirely absent from the project. We saw him briefly at the beginning and then again only after placing a number of calls (we really wanted to finish the project before the new baby arrived, and Vivax was much slower than they had promised). Additionally, Vivax did not clean up well - we were left to clear old paint, painting tape, etc. Nearly a year later, the paint is almost entirely worn away from parts of the house. And we noticed, while standing in the neighbor's yard, that Vivax hadn't even painted a section of the house (we couldn't have seen this from our own yard). Rather than put our family at risk for more razor blades and poison, we hired another painter to clean up/repaint the Vivax mess. Vivax seems to invest the majority of its effort in securing the deal - glossy flyers and flashy salespeople full of empty promises. But once the project starts, this company has little substance, and it takes considerable wrangling to get Vivax to do as promised (painting the trim/window casings as they said they would, etc.). Avoid a lot of headache and heartache and choose another painter. read more

The are the WORST company out there! DO NOT EVER USE THEM! The owner told us for $2000 more we would get primer, sealant and an extra coat of paint which would make our paint last years longer. We got to know the guys while they were painting our house and they told us the owner totally ripped us off and that they paint every single house exactly the same. We fought with the owner for weeks and started the process to take him to court for our money back when finally he gave it back. He ended up short an entire crew because the guys who painted our house quit. This company is terrible and they only want to screw you out of money. read more

After a lot of research we chose Vivax Pros to paint our house because they came highly recommended from both friends and online reviews. Our decision to trust them with our home has led to nothing but headaches. I wish we had one positive thing to say about our experience with them. From minimal communication, to lack of follow through and no attention to detail it's amazing that they have any positive reviews at all. Our simple paint job and stucco repair looks like we hired someone's drunk uncle to work on our home, not a highly recommended professional company. Stated simply - it's a mess, and a month and a half after they started the job it's still not done. I'll spare you all the details, but do yourself a favor and pick ANY other company to work on your home - you'll be happy you did. read more

I did not actually hire Vivax, but I wanted to make people aware that they should definitely get quotes from other contractors. Vivax was literally twice the cost of the contractor that I actually hired. I received the exact same paint job (2 coats) plus an additional 3rd coat on my trim for half the price. The Vivax sales guy was a bit pushy and claimed that they have the best crew in town, which is why they cost so much. They may do a great job, but don't think for a moment that you're getting a better product because you're paying more. read more

We bundled Vivax painting and roofing to cover hail damage from the recent storms. By bundling we hoped to Make it easier to work with the contractor and our insurance company. All was fine in our initial meeting with Vivax representives. Assuring us they work well with the insurance companies and understand it would take time to process the checks between the insurance company and mortgage company. So we were surprised when just two days after their roofers finished the job that we recieved a certified letter threatening that if we did not pay in full within 10 days, Vivax would put a lean against our home. We did not even receive the depreciation release from our insurance company until two days after we recieved the certified letter from Vivax threading to put the lean against our home. Dispite phone calls to Viavax they were unwilling to put anything in writing that they would give more than the ten days to allow time for the depreciation check to be processed by the mortgage company. From a quality stand point the paint does show light areas they called leaching, so they are going to power wash the house to see if it resolves the problem. Only problem is it will be spring before we know if this resolves the problem. The roofing company took an extra day due to a delay in the delivery of the roofing supplies. This was after they stripped the roof but fortunately it did not rain. I am stil picking up nails and shingle cuttings from the yard and shrubs and after each rain. Over all they come in promising a high quality job, professionalism, and going above and beyond to work with you. But in reality fall far short of their promises. read more

I had a positive experience with Vivax Pro Painting. I had them come out to paint while I was on holiday and it was finished when I returned! They were very communicative and helped me with my colors. I was worried about getting a color approved with my HOA but they took care of that for me. I did get cheaper bids, but I am happy with my choice! I sold that house and I will use them again in the future on my new home. read more

Vivax just painted our duplex. Our neighbor and I agree on a lot of things, so I wasn't surprised when we both agreed to choose Vivax after reviewing numerous other painting bids. Vivax's bid was slightly higher than a few others, but the quality of their work made it well worth the money. I recommend them to my other neighbors as well. read more

My husband and I used Vivax Pros. to paint the entire exterior of our home. We found them from a female associate jogging through the neighborhood and stopped to say hello. She was very approachable and friendly and easy to talk to. She scheduled an appointment promptly with the salesman who came to the house to give a quote on the project. The salesman Sean explained in great detail what the project was and what the house needed. He was very honest and not pushy at all. I did not feel pressured into making a decision. He explained my options and I explored them all with other companies and was pleased with what Vivax offered above the others, specifically with the prep and how the company uses their employees. The other thing I like more with Vivax is that you are assigned a project manager that keeps the job in line so nothing is missed and the prep, and anything you need, is done to your liking. That turned out to be a significantly important piece of this job. Sean gave me an out-the-door full price quote and helped us assign some colors we liked as well. We are terrible with colors and he had a wonderful eye for it so that helped us tremendously. I was able to schedule when I wanted the project started and was given an email associate to ask all questions with and sign paperwork to start the project. Her name was Anna. Anna is AMAZING. I could email her anything, any question, any time and she was so caring and very responsive. I was new to the whole process and she cleared everything up that I needed help with. Everyone with Vivax from the salesmen to the managers and email associates are all on the same page, they all offered the same information, there was no confusion at all about what you're getting with your job. Once the project started you have your laborers that prep and paint and the project manager that observes the job and works with you to make sure nothing moves on to the next step until it was done exactly how they said it would be. Our project managers name was Patrick. Patrick didn't miss a thing, and if something needed to get done, if the workers couldn't do it he did it himself, no questions asked. Patrick is simply amazing, and so incredibly respectful. If something wasn't done to my liking that I noticed at any time, I could call or text him and it was taken care of. Patrick made the whole project less stressful and a lot smoother than if I didn't like something and had to complain to the workers myself. The team I had was mainly 2 gentlemen, Alfredo and Christian they worked very hard and did their best. In my opinion all clients want is what we were promised in the packaged deal at the beginning but sometimes there's a lot more offered than what's realistic just to make a sale, but Vivax delivered on what they promised in the beginning. Patrick specifically walked around our house and worked very hard to give us exaclty nail for nail what we were promised which absolutely amazed me. He never once treated me as an idiot girl or just a stay at home mom with no knowledge. I was treated as a smart, respectable individual that owned the home and wanted it to look at certain way. I rarely get treated with such respect. I didn't pay a penny until every nook and cranny was to my liking. Once it was completed exactly how I wanted no questions asked, we happily paid for the service. I strongly recommend people use Vivax Pros. They work very hard to make sure your home is painted with the utmost care and professionalism. They leave it clean exactly how it was when they arrived. The entire team was extremely kind and professional, my husband and I were so relieved we ended up going with this company. From start to finish it was handled with care, attentiveness, respect and professionalism. I would absolutly use them again without question and recommend them to anyone. They work hard for 5 stars and I'm happy to deliver that rating. Thank you Vivax Pros. for a wonderful experience, our home looks better than it ever has before. The quality was truly worth any cost and I recommend them to anyone. read more

Vivax has painted our house three times over the last dozen years or so and put on a new roof once. The first time I found about Vivax, and read about their attention to detail, and their warranty I felt it was a good choice for us. The first painting everything went great. They sealed all the nail heads, caulked the house well, and scrapped any loose paint. Painting was excellent and they did a great job. I highly recommended them to others.A few years later, we had another big hail storm. I choose Vivax to do the painting and the roofing since they had started doing roofing as well. Since they did such a great job on the painting the first time, I thought we would have the same results the second time along with the painting and the roofing. Boy, was I wrong. Not sure what was up with Vivax at the time, but the painting was terrible and it took multiple times to get them to come back out and take care of the problems. The first crew they used was just awful and they vandalized our BBQ and were sloppy and awful. They still treated us this way even as we treated them to pizza and ice cream for lunch and supplied cold water over the three days they worked. Sickening. Vivax send a touch up crew out three different times and they all did awful work. Vivax finally dug out a small crew of two that fixed all the painting problems and did good work and they had to completely repaint an entire side of the house. So that was the painting. The roofing was worse. I ended up having to spend a week reroofing and repairing part of the house myself due to water damage from their poor installation of flashing and caulking. Vivax didn't even cover all of my material costs, even though I did all the labor. I was not happy, but I know it was done right as I did it myself. The the next time we had a hail storm I spent a week and painted the painted the house myself. In 2023 we had another major hail storm and it took awhile to get our insurance sorted out. I was busy with other projects and did not have time to paint the house. I did not know who I was going to choose this time around to paint the house, but two of my neighbors both had Vivax paint their homes and they were happy with the results. One neighbor even knew the bad experience I had with them before and said they still choose them because of their outstanding warranty. I talked with Vivax regarding the problems they had before and they assured me that they would do a great job. Since we ran out of time in 2023 season to do the painting, they did the painting in April 2024. I'm very happy to report, the Vivax went back to their roots and did what they do best, paint houses with detailed work. The siding took a huge beating from the 30 minute golf ball sized hail. They carefully scrapped and sealed the entire house. I'm very particular and inspected all of their work, especially the prepping of the house. Everything was done with good attention to detail and I felt good about the prepping and gave the go ahead to paint the house. The painting went well and they did an excellent job. I can highly recommend them again.I'm glad that Vivax has gotten back to their roots and are just concentrating on painting homes the best they can. Their hard work shows and I'm very pleased (shocked even) with the quality of their work. So I feel very good about recommending their work again. Highly recommended. read more

We just had 20 windows and a large sliding door replaced that had been damaged by hail last July, 2018. We used Vivax Pros for our window project. They installed Milgard windows which are made here in Colorado. We like to support Colorado made products. We selected Vivax Pros because they removed all the old trim boards and installed the new windows almost like in new construction. They installed three layers of protection-- an ice and water shield on the rough framing, followed by back caulk on the nail fin, then another layer of ice and water shield and of course the trim and paint. We cannot say enough about the great experience we had with Vivax Pros. The Project Manager brought in a team headed by a gentleman, Anthony. We had up to six men working on both Monday and Tuesday, April 8th and 9th. We had specifically asked that all windows be installed and outside trim and caulking be done the same day as the window install. We didn't want moisture getting into our home. This team was miraculous. There were men everywhere. They started out by laying plastic to protect my just cleaned carpet and newly refinished hardwood floors. The first day they installed 15 windows. The second day they installed the remaining five windows and the over size sliding door. During this time the young men worked constantly, taking little time out for breaks or lunch. The team was polite and worked very hard. Most of the outside trim and caulking was done on the second day. A blizzard was forecast the third day, Wednesday, Apr 10th. The young men doing the trim worked well past 8:30 pm on Tuesday to ensure all the window trim was completed and windows were properly caulked and sealed before the storm hit. Part of the team arrived the morning of the storm to finish inside caulking and clean up. One young man even cleaned the dust off my dresser! The painter was here the following day to touch up interior paint. He was kind enough to help re-install window blinds as my husband's health isn't good. He was also a joy to have working in our home. We've had a great deal of work done in our home in the past year, from interior and exterior painting, to hardwood floor refinishing to updating our kitchen with new counters, back splash, and cabinet refinishing. Each project came with a set of headaches. We dreaded this project. But we can say without a doubt this window installation has been the easiest and best experience of all. Our expectations were surpassed and we owe that to the Project Manager who worked diligently and fine young men that installed our windows. We were treated in a courteous manner and our home was respected. But most importantly, the Project Manager went out of his way to keep his word and ensure the team was fulfilling the Vivax promise. We highly recommend Vivax Pros for your windows. read more

I am going to focus on the follow up on the warranty with my review. I think one area my wife and I were somewhat skeptical about was the satisfaction warranty and whether that was something that was really honored. Actually, I am one of those people who will usually not pay extra for an 'extended warranty' as I believe the stats are that most things don't fail within the warranty period. Well, this time it was a very prudent call. We have cedar siding. After Vivax's first attempt at painting our house we noticed one side of the house, even after just a year, was peeling and flaking in certain areas but all over (the south side of the house). I called Vivax and they came out and took care of it, no questions asked. Well, another year passed and, again, the flaking and peeling. They came out this time with an idea from a paint consultant and with some changes to the paint took another shot at it. Turns out there were dynamics on that side of the house that would cause this peeling and flaking that were not occuring on the other sides. The other sides look great from their first application. Logan, the VP of Production came out when we called again for warranty work and took a detailed look at what was going on. It was clear that his goal with our repeated warranty claims was to get this issue evaluated and solved. Vivax then spent the next many days, leading to weeks, painstakingly scraping and sanding the side of our house having the adherence issues. I was amazed that they did not just throw up their hands, shrug their shoulders and say they did all they could. Once the scraping and sanding was done (including the thin top edge of the lap siding that tended to flake), that side of the house was hand painted as opposssed to sprayed. It is a wide and very high side of our ranch home. In fact, to get the job done in a timely manner, Logan came out and finished the job himself as there were demands on his crews. Remember that our cedar siding situation was unique and a bit baffling and one they had to study and come up with a game plan that would work. Logan mentioned that our unique siding issue has helped them to understand and employ methods to avoid our situation with other projects they take on. I think in all of our jobs and work we discover new challenges that we did not encounter in the past and we have to come up with a new way to resolve and satisfy the customer. Two HUGE thumbs up to Vivax and Logan for having the integrity and determination to honor their warranty and get the job done no matter what to our satisfaction even with an anomoly with the siding. Long review here but I don't often feel this strongly about a company and especially their follow through. I highly reccommend them! read more

Vivax warranty is fantastic. May 22, 2023 I contacted Vivax Pros because I had one of the window trim boards lifting due to some water. Today, Dylan, the Warranty Manager, came by at 8 AM and looked at it, and walked around the house to ascertain any other issues. He found a place to touch up the bottom of the garage door in the back. He arranged for Able, his painter to come back later this afternoon which he did. He repaired and painted the window framing board and the bottom of the door. Took him about 15 minutes. Can't speak highly enough about this company and it's warranty. I have a nine year warranty on the workmanship and painting. Will definitely use them when it is time to paint again. Vivax Pros Painting is truly a professional painting company. When I wanted to paint my two story house I got four bids and while Vivax was a bit higher, it was still a fair price. But the references and recommendations were what sold me. I was not disappointed. They are exceptional from the bidding process which included Lindsay Luchette coming out and spending an hour reviewing the paint project including the necessary repairs and giving me the option to have someone else do the repairs or have Vivax do the repairs, like replacing wood. Great communication is one of the trademarks of this company. We were assigned a project coordinator, Molly Dignan, who regularly sent updates with dates and time for the HOA approval, the woodwork walk through, the actual woodwork, the power pressure wash of the house, and the exterior prep and paint. The woodwork manager was Tanner Horan who was in touch via email (my preference) on dates and time. The paint manager, Brett Allenbach touched base three days before the paint crew led by Benny, arrived. The first day of the paint project, Benny and a crew of four arrived to prep the house by caulking and taping the windows. They also began painting the body of the house. The second day they did the remainder of the body, and the trim. The third day, morning only, Benny and his helper finished up with the details. Brett came and walked around the house finding places for small touch ups that even I didn't catch. Then Brett, Benny and I walked around the house inspecting it again. From start-the initial cost estimate-to the finish Vivax personnel were professional and polite. Vivax did what they said they would do-they upheld their contract. Another reason for me selecting Vivax was their 9 year warranty on paint. They will come out to fix it, no questions asked. I believe them. Benny and his crew were fantastic, arriving on time and leaving at 5 pm, having cleaned the premises of paint and ladders. Yes, I highly recommend Vivax Pros. read more

From start to finish this was just the most positive experience. Nick was so helpful giving me a better idea of what the colors we picked would actually look like with some mock ups to compare with the entire stone face of my home. I had attempted with several different applications but was not able to get it to work. Having those done by him gave me the immediate confidence on our choices. Thank you goes out to Steven the project coordinator who eased so much of our stress trying to create those mock ups on our own suggesting we reach out to Nick. As our project got closer we were contacted by Austin our project manager. He verified all of our color choices and stayed in constant contact during the entire process letting us know exactly what to expect as well as asking if we had any specific concerns. There was never any wonder on our end as to how this process would go. I am all about communication. This is probably my number one pet peeve with companies. Having that communication is so helpful. Oh man let me talk about this team. They were incredible. Arnold lead his group amazingly. They were so very respectful to my home and outside belonging. We had cleared and secured basic items away from the project but there were some architectural landscape elements and landscaping that just couldn't be moved. They made sure everything stayed safe without any damage during their painting process. The pre work put in with all their prep was incredible. Their process is not just to paint your home but to protect your home investment. They prepped things we didn't even realize needed it. We had a power outage in our area during their work. It definitely put a hiccup in their completion expectation for that first day. I was not able to provide a for sure time it would come back on just an estimate. They stayed and shifted their work to wait it out to be able to resume. That was great. It didn't add that time on later because they made a plan B and continued to be productive. They continued to keep control of the outside area to make sure miscellaneous materials and paper didn't get out of control and out into my neighborhood. We originally chose Vivax because of the clean and controlled situation they created while doing both of my neighbors homes. Final walk around went great. Minimal areas to be addressed and they were immediately. We could not be happier with our final results. Austin explained the going forward process again with any concerns that might arise and our warranty and how that process would be if we needed it. All in all wonderful experience with a wonderful outcome. read more

I needed to have my house painted due to the hail storm last fall in Highlands Ranch. I chose to use Vivax because my daughter had previously worked with them and said they were very professional. As soon as I contacted them, I was assigned to Rachel who coordinated every step from having Nicki come out to check out the paint damage to working with my HOA on getting color approvals and even referring my roofing damage to the Vivax roof coordinator to get my roof checked out. Rachel also worked with the Vivax scheduling desk and kept me up to date by email and phone calls. When Nicki came out, she went over the entire house and took all the necessary measurements to give me an estimate. The estimate included 3 warranty options and the woodworking that would be needed to prepare the house for painting. The options were for 6, 9, or 14 years of warranty. I chose the 9 year Vivax no exclusions warranty option which used Sherwin Williams super thick Duration paint. After I got my insurance estimate, Nicki went over it and worked with my insurance company to add the pressure wash cost which had been left off. Once the scheduling was done, I was contacted about who would be coming out and at what time to go over the steps being taken to prepare the house for painting. First, Wade came out to go over the woodworking that would be needed and he told me who and when would be coming out to do the pressure wash and the woodwork. He said I didn't need to be home to get those jobs done. Everything went as planned. Then, Bobby contacted me about coming out to go over how the painting would be coordinated and what to expect. After Bobby left, the painters arrived to start the prep work of scraping, caulking and priming the areas needing it. Ozmar, the Foreman, was great to work with. He showed me everything that would be done in preparation for the painting while pointing out areas that would need added caulking and some bonding work as well. Ozmar took personal responsibility to make sure everything was done right and then took me on a walkthrough to ensure I was satisfied with all the work. After Ozmar left, Bobby returned to do the final walkthrough and to ensure I was completely satisfied. Bobby showed me how the Vivax painting process ensures a smoothly layered look when viewing it from any angle. I noticed it had a nice semi-glossy look as well. I am completely satisfied with the painting and all the additional work that was done in preparation for the final job. I look forward to having Vivax to depend on for all my future paint and roofing needs. read more

This review comes from someone who used to paint homes professionally many, many years ago, but I know find the job to be more difficult than when I was 20. I would like to mention each person on the Vivax team by name but I am sure I will forget someone. In this case the use of the word TEAM is very accurate because we met and spoke with at least 5 or 6 people, all who were part of a house painting job that turned out perfect. After the first gentleman stopped by our house to ask if we were interested in a free estimate, we met Christa who spent several hours inspecting our house, our yard and all of the features in our landscaping that needed to be protected. She later met with us to show us paint samples to see if they matched the colors we wanted and they were exactly what we wanted. Then we met Aaron Crain who is one of the personable people I have ever worked with. He said he would be ready on any day I picked for the team to arrive and begin work. On that scheduled day the men arrived and because masking and covering everything around our house that needed to be protected. I have to stop here to mention by name the crew that I highly recommend to anyone that wants their home painted. Their names are Otto, Ricardo, Manuel. These men amazed us along with several of our neighbors who walked by and watched them work because they were so quiet, and they worked non stop. There were times when my wife and I wondered if they guys were still outside painting because they were so quiet. No loud music or talking, but they did talk quietly with each other. i believe their shortest day on the job was probably around 10 hours. We were so happy and comfortable with these men working around our house that we left on a few occasions to make trips to the store or doctor office and we never worried about the guys. In the end which was only a few days we ended up with a house that looked perfect and our neighbors asked for the name of the company because they were impressed. The day after the guys finished Aaron Crain arrived with a roll of blue tape and asked us to join him as he walked around looking for small blemishes or spots missed or drips. We found a few places that were very small but Aaron found small blemishes that we probably never would have noticed. That very night Otto, Ricardo, Manuel returned to make the job perfect. If I ever need another house painted I will not hesitate to call the Vivax Pro Team. Now I'm thinking about looking into Solar power and if I do anything it will be with this team. Vivax Pros did an outstanding job repairing, prepping, and painting my Tudor-style home. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. When I started looking into having some rotted exterior trim repaired, I decided to go with Vivax Pros. Neil project-managed the wood repairs, and his team did an amazing job matching the rough-cut trim and original style of the house. He went above and beyond to ensure the trouble areas and my concerns were completely addressed. They also did a great job balancing different wood options to preserve the aesthetics while keeping costs reasonable. Max managed the preparation and painting, with Nelson on-site overseeing the crew. Both were awesome! This was the third time I've had my home painted in 30 years, and I can honestly say Vivax Pros was the most thorough and professional of the three. They did the best job, offered the best warranty, and their price was in the same ballpark as the other bids I received. Had they painted it the second time, I wouldn't have had the rotted wood I had to have repaired this time! What really stood out was the attention to detail. They used drop cloths to capture old peeling caulk and paint and kept my landscaping remarkably clean throughout the project. They carefully taped the windows, exterior lights, and other areas, and even covered my solar panels with drop cloths. Most importantly, they primed all bare and scraped wood--including the lower trouble spots on the original siding--to provide thorough protection and ensure the paint adhered properly in those critical areas. I have no doubt my home is now much better protected from the elements than it was after any of my previous paint jobs. The project managers also did an excellent job explaining the process, communicating how and when the work would be completed, and setting appropriate expectations from the beginning. There were no surprises--the project ultimately went exactly as they said it would. Whenever I had a question or concern, I knew exactly who to contact and how to reach them, and they were consistently responsive and on time. I couldn't recommend a more thoughtful and professional company. They genuinely took an interest in my questions and concerns and made sure everything met my expectations. Based on my previous experiences, Vivax Pros is, without question, the best painting contractor I've worked with. I highly recommend them. read more

WOW!!!! FANTASTIC job from VIVAX Pros Painting Company. This is truly THE best painting experience I've ever had. I've owned many homes in the past and had other so/so painters, but this company stands by itself as the painters I will choose in the future. I highly recommend them for your home painting needs. We had our exterior painted, but I'm sure they are as thorough and detailed oriented when painting interior homes as well. From the initial meeting with Sam Kliewer I knew this was the company for us. He was punctual, polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and didn't pressure us to make a decision right on the spot. We told him we had another paint company coming over to give us a quote and he didn't try to persuade us one way or the other; he let us make our minds up and to give him a call whenever we made our decision. It took us four days to get back with him and not once did he call us to try to pressure us in going with Vivax Pros. This went a long way in our decision to go with Vivax Pros. The Project Manager was Jason Moore. Jason was also very punctual, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. It was a real pleasure working with Jason every step of the way. When we changed the accent color at the last minute he was very understanding and provided us with several options. He kept us informed of the process and schedule until completion yesterday afternoon. Even during our walk-through, he saw one or two very minor spots that needed touching up that I didn't see, but wanted the job to be perfect. It's this attention to detail that makes this company the best painters around. Finally, what can I say about the actual painters. Jose was the lead painter and had two assistants with him. Jose also has the same traits as Sam and Jason. He always had a smile on his face and answered any questions we had during the painting of our house. They were very neat, cleaned up after themselves, and most importantly, were GREAT painters. VIVAX Pros should be very proud and fortunate to have a team (of Sam, Jason, and Jose) working for them. Again, I HIGHLY recommend them to you; you won't be disappointed. David and Melissa read more

VIVAX did a FANTASTIC job painting our house! This is the second home we've had painted by VIVAX. The first was in Castle Rock, CO in 2014. Scheduling everything with VIVAX was easy! Communication was superb throughout, and their completed work was EXCEPTIONAL! Jason came out to the house to give us a quote on our painting project. We were impressed with his knowledge of the products that VIVAX offers, and the process by which they paint the houses. Initially we were only going to have the house trim boards painted because we have a stucco and stone house. But when Jason educated us about the way VIVAX paints stucco homes (i.e. spray the first coat and back-roll it, and then spray a second coat once the first coat dries) AND that they offer a 14 year warranty on their work (on STUCCO), we decided to have the whole house painted. Jason hooked us up with MacKenzie, who ensured we got our house colors picked out, that we were happy with our choices, and then set us up with the project manager (Isaiah) to finalize all of our needs and get the project done. Isaiah contacted us and verified all of our choices and project needs, fielded and answered all of our questions and concerns, and set up the start date for the project. Isaiah did a GREAT JOB communicating with us each day with the times the paint crew would be at our house, and what time they left, and he made sure everything was going smoothly each day. It only took three days for the crew to paint our house (and we have a 4800 Sq Ft home) - and that was with late afternoon showers each day. Wancy was the paint crews' foreman. He did an EXCELLENT job, along with the crew, painting our house! Wancy kept everybody on point, and they were very methodical in the execution of their job. The crew was very professional and very skilled at their craft! We also appreciated that, each day, they cleaned up their trash before they left. When the work was done, our house looked FANTASTIC. We really appreciate the efforts of EVERYONE at VIVAX. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND VIVAX for any paint job you might need on your property. A++++++++ David & Crystal Walters Elizabeth, CO read more

This company is excellent! We chose them after I interviewed many other companies and received many estimates. They are professional, kind, compassionate , hard working and committed to the customer and not just their profits! Dylan was fantastic as he reached out to me asking if we needed paint repair with the incredible warranty that is offered ! He was responsive, prompt , informative, non patronizing and honest. He put my mind at ease and helped me walk through the details and expectations of the project. Alexa then helped scheduled our appointment seamlessly and without trouble . The no exceptions policy and guarantees are a huge source of relief for our growing family. They stay true to their word and will be there for any wood, paint and gutter flaws that arise from weather , climate and accrued accidents. Justen ( our most spectacular painter ) is absolutely remarkable ! He touched up different areas of our home and made sure I was completely satisfied with the repairs on the paint that had peeled off from weather exposure and my children scooters hitting the house . The most incredible thing about Justen Is that he even repaired a really poor caulking job from a window company that Preformed horrible exterior caulking after we had our initial walk-through with Dylan. Although this wasn't his responsibility, his problem and it wasn't in the original plans, Justen was accommodating, helpful, and didn't complain and did outstanding work in helping my house look brand new again! He did a phenomenal job caulking, sealing, scraping and painting every spot on our home - especially the hard to reach and hard to see areas ! He was thorough, patient, attentive , respectful and kind ! The amount of craftsmanship , attention to detail , and trim work was extraordinary. They do gutters , wood work , painting and other household repairs ! Their 7 year Warrenty is top notch and stands up to all their promises ! Ask for Dylan and Justen - you will not be disappointed ! You should most certainly hire Vivax pros and not even think about other companies for all your Colorado painting needs! read more

I had a great experience working with Vivax Pros and would recommend them to anyone looking to have exterior work done on their home. They came highly recommended by several people in my neighborhood, and I can understand why. One of the things I appreciated most was the level of oversight throughout the entire process. Each phase had a project planner, project coordinator, or project manager involved to help oversee the work and keep things moving. Communication throughout the project was excellent. The person overseeing each phase consistently texted to let me know when crews would be arriving, which made it much easier to plan around the work. They were also very flexible with my personal schedule when a walkthrough required me to be present, which I greatly appreciated. The team repaired and replaced damaged siding and trim, pressure washed the house, and recaulked areas as needed. I also chose to have the gutters and downspouts replaced for an additional cost, and I was pleased with that work as well. There was a glitch with the trim paint color along the way, but Vivax Pros and the paint foreman Lewding took responsibility for the issue and remedied it by having new paint mixed and applying it to all of the trim. I appreciated that they didn't simply try to patch the problem--they made sure it was corrected properly. The team also conducted multiple final walkthroughs to make sure that any concerns I had were addressed. My project manager was Sarah Bulba and she listened to the feedback I provided and addressed each with understanding and patience. I appreciated the company's commitment to making sure I was satisfied with the final result. Overall, I am very happy with the finished project and would recommend Vivax Pros. My one observation is that there seemed to be more follow-up visits than I would have expected to complete the project. However, I appreciated that they continued to follow through and make sure everything was done correctly and that my concerns were addressed. In the end, I am pleased with the quality of the work and the finished result. read more

Review: Stellar Exterior Paint Job by Vivax Pros I recently had the pleasure of working with Vivax Pro for an home exterior paint project, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, their attention to detail and commitment to quality stood out. 1. Color Choice: Iron Ore Trim and Alabaster Body a. The combination of Iron Ore trim and Alabaster body was a stroke of genius. Iron Ore, while not a true black, exudes sophistication and elegance. It's a soft black that adds depth without overpowering the overall look. Alabaster, on the other hand, provides a clean and fresh canvas, creating a beautiful contrast. b. Iron Ore's warm undertones complemented the Alabaster body perfectly, resulting in a harmonious blend that enhances the architectural features of my home. 2. Craftsmanship: Top-Notch Workmanship a. The paint application was flawless. The Iron Ore trim lines were crisp, and the Alabaster body had a smooth, even finish. b. Kudos to the paint foreman, Santiago, for his meticulous work. His attention to detail ensured that every corner and crevice received the care it deserved. 3. Project Management: Jessica's Expertise a. Jessica, my project manager, was a pleasure to work with. She communicated clearly, addressed my concerns promptly, and kept the project on track. b. Her knowledge of color coordination and understanding of my vision made the entire process seamless. I appreciated her professionalism and dedication. 4. Overall Impression: A Home Transformed a. My house now stands out in the neighborhood. The Iron Ore trim adds character, while the Alabaster body brightens up the facade. b. I've received numerous compliments from neighbors and friends, all thanks to Vivax Pro's exceptional work. In summary, if you're looking for an exterior paint company that delivers outstanding results, I wholeheartedly recommend Vivax Pros. Their team, led by Jessica and Santiago, turned my vision into reality. Thank you for transforming my home! We chose Vivax after reviewing no less than 10 quotes on our home. After doing our research and having a disappointing false start with one company, Vivax stood out with a comprehensive quote that covered issues that fell short with the others - combining a higher quality SW paint, longer warranty, more woodwork etc. Coleton was our first contact at our home and he was very thorough. He noted all of our wants and concerns and got the quote back to us pretty fast. Tyeler was the pressure washer and he is a poet and philosopher you should get to know!! He did an amazing job, He got all the nooks and crannies that were missed when we had the house washed months ago. (Make sure your pressure washer is using a gas-powered sprayer!) Isaiah was our main contact - title might be project manager. He was extremely good with communication. Responded to my questions even well outside business hours. He met with me for a walk around just before the job started. He was extremely detailed - asking a lot of questions I'd not even thought about. We really felt in good hands! Isaiah also pointed out a couple of places on the front of the house that had all been the same white/trim color that might look great some contrasting body color. We ran with it and are very pleased seeing the change. Painting took the better part of two days. Gama and his crew couldn't have been more thorough. They spent a LOT of time prepping, sanding and caulking. I saw them going through and paying attention to every nail hole. The crew was great to have around - they were laughing and playing some great music the whole time. The day after they finished, Isaiah came back for a final walkthrough. We found three very small spots that could use more attention. I wouldn't have spotted them. The crew was there and ripped through it. I remember every twenty-dollar bill I've had in my hands (I am frugal and spent 25 years in finance) and I was pleased to pay up. They didn't require a deposit. My only complaint is that they didn't have Vivax T-shirts I could wear to help them advertise! read more

Vivax just completed my house on 3/21/18. They were so easy to work with. They outbid 3 other 4 and 5 star rated painters. I first found them on Yelp with good ratings. I messaged them through yelp and they responded in a timely manner. I first talked to Kim. She was so nice and explained the estimate process. The estimator that came out was more thorough than the other companies I had out. They have warranties better than the competitors. The options depend on the paint you get. We did the Sherwin Williams Duration 9 year warranty. Painters book several months in advance. We had our estimate in October 2017 for a date in April 2018. They called me in January and were able to move up to March. It snowed the night before. The project manager Will still met me at the time we agreed on 7 am. We did a walk around with the crew to make sure we were on the same page. Due to the weather, they returned around 12:30. They worked until dark prepping for paint. Forgot to mention that they power washed the house the week before. Even got off some black mold spots on the side of the house by the AC unit. Back to the job. They nailed all the loose nails down, re-caulked everything that needed it including all the nail heads, and painted on primer to several spots and the lower siding by the ground. Tuesday they painted all the base and most of the trim. Wednesday they finished the trim and did touchups. I walked around the house several times with the painter. Will the project manager was very attentive, even sent me pictures. These guys set the bar high for other companies. My only detractor is very low. They don't remove numbers, lights, door bells, and gutters. I did all the lights myself. The gutters, they don't want to damage or have issues if they fall apart. I get it. I wish I knew ahead of time about the gutters. I may have pulled off. Either way the paint lines around the gutters look great. It matches, just a portion has the base color and not the trim color. I would use these guys again for sure. Indoor or outdoor. Give em a call and see for yourself! read more

Last week I had my house in Golden, Colorado, painted by Vivax Pros. They did an outstanding job and the results were better than expected. From the outset, they assigned a project manager, Sarah, and she was the best. She visited the house before the crew was scheduled and we went over what her company was going to do and then she listened while I told her what my expectations were. She confirmed my color choices and helped me select a third color for some detailed trim work on some large picture windows. She was in contact with me nearly every day prior to the job starting and kept me informed about the date that the crew would start. The day before the actual painting started she visited my home with the painting foreman and went over the job with him in detail, ensuring that he understood exactly what needed to be done. The next morning, Arnold, arrived with his crew before 8AM and they immediately went to work, scraping, caulking, and priming. By the end of the day they had finished all of the prep work on my two story home. The next day they arrived before 8AM and got right to work, masking and taping the windows. Very soon after they began painting the base color, and they finished that part by lunchtime. After lunch, they started on the trim colors and the entire house was finished before 5PM. Two days and they were done!! Sarah returned to do her inspection and then walked through the job with me to verify that I was satisfied with the work. Her crew was available to make any corrections on the spot and had cleaned up the area and packed their gear, while waiting to be released. Sarah reviewed the warranty and told me to call her if I noticed anything that needed to be corrected Im the next few days and it was finished. Everything was organized, very well planned and professionally executed. All for a fair price. Sarah was great! You should request her to be your project manager. The foreman, Arnold, was all business, and just got to work with no screwing around. An all around good job. Thanks Vivax Pros read more

VIVAX PROS is the only way to go!!! We were looking to complete our modest interior remodel (kitchen, living room and hall/stairways) with fresh new colors on the walls and ceilings. In February 2020, we went to the Denver Garden and Home show and were met with overwhelming selections of painting companies to consider, VIVAX PROS being one of them (prior to this we had never heard of them). We scheduled a in-home estimate with Vivax Pros and Kylee was amazing, knowledgeable and prepared with color wheels in-hand. She took time to get to know us and our vision. We received the bid and it was in range with the other bids we received. We chose to go with Vivax because they use Sherwin Williams products, guaranteed coverage at NO ADDITIONAL COST and have 1-yr warranty for touch ups. Our project was advanced to the schedule coordinator, Bree, who was personable and flexible especially because of the onset of the COVID-19 environment we all now find ourselves in. Once our project had a secured start date, our project was advanced to our Project Manager, Lindsay. Not one detail about our remodel project was lost from our initial meeting with Kylee. Lindsay, her manager, and the painting crew (Erik and Alex) all came in for the initial walk through listening to our goals and concerns and discussing their plan of action. The project started that day and wrapped up couple of days later. The attention to detail was great! The straight lines between light colored walls and the dark accent walls is precise and pleasing to the eye. They did an amazing job protecting floors, lighting, ceiling fans. And even Odie in the accounting department was great! He clearly received our request to mail us a paper copy of our receipt in the mail as well as sending us an electronic version. We are so incredibly pleased with VIVAX PROS. Professional. Detailed-oriented. Quality Service. Superb Value. On-schedule. Great Company. Thank you VIVAX PROS! read more

We recently had our home painted by Vivax Pros and the great experience we had deserves a glowing endorsement. This company had previously painted my mom's home and did an excellent job, so I felt very confident about contacting them to do ours. Our house is a single-story brick and our trim was in fairly good shape, so we just needed the main body painted. But despite it being a fairly straightforward job, both our project planner, Carlos Carillo, and our project manager, Joel Caro, took the time to explain the necessary prep and products that were specific to painting on brick vs. siding. They offered a 9 year, no exclusions, warranty. The quote I was given was also a hard price, meaning that the cost wouldn't go up even if extra work or materials ended up being needed. That made signing the paperwork much less worrisome. The original appointment to get a quote was great, and both Carlos and his trainer/supervisor did a wonderful job of answering all my questions and were able to fit me into their schedule in the time frame I requested. My walkthrough with Joel prior to the start of the project clarified some questions I had and really put me at ease about the whole process. He also made himself available throughout the entire process if I had and questions or concerns. The actual paint crew, led by Arturo, also went above and beyond in so many ways. Not only did they finish the job in record time, they did it extremely well with excellent attention to detail. They even took care of some additional things that weren't part of my quote, like the trim around my basement windows, priming some small areas of exposed wood around the garage door, and scrubbing a LOT of residue off the back of the house where the previous owners had planted climbing vines. Overall I couldn't be more delighted with Vivax Pros, their employees, and the entire experience. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of painting services! - Julie H. read more

We had an excellent experience with Vivax! It started with a very thorough estimate by Nicole. We had already received three estimates from other local companies and Vivax came in squarely in the middle; however, their estimate included a detailed accounting for some woodwork we would need to repair rotted siding and chimney trim. She pointed out some problem areas that the other companies failed to notice and, after consulting with a company woodworker, proposed efficient remedies. Every person we encountered through this company was warm, friendly, professional, and arrived at the agreed-upon time. The woodworker did an outstanding job of replacing the rotted boards and taking measures to protect from further damage. The powerwasher came that same day and did a very thorough job. The next day our awesome project manager, Jamie, and paint crew (five men, I believe) arrived. We started with a walk-thru and discussion of how various steps would be handled. Another walk-thru was done after the prep (plenty of scraping, caulking, and priming took place). Granted, we live in a smaller ranch house, but my husband and I were astounded that they were able to finish the project the same day! The quality of the job was impressive and they were very detail-oriented. During the final walk-thru (a couple of days later), the project manager and I noticed a few tiny imperfections--they were corrected by the day's end. We were extremely satisfied with our Vivax experience. We've had several neighbors ask who did our work. We finally, after twelve years living here, love the look of our home--and the price was very reasonable. I am confident that the no-exclusions warranty (nothing like this was offered by the other companies we looked in to) will be upheld based on the integrity of everyone we've worked with so far. Highly recommend Vivax Pro Painting! read more
