I told him my issues and he spent at least 10-15 minutes listening to me and was sure that he could help me. (I was locked out of One Drive with years of files and photos potentially lost forever, I thought I had been hacked with ransomware and was ready to trash my desk top and laptops based on what the other IT guy had told me!). Everything about them was professional and impressive, from the young woman answering the phone to the engineer who called us back within ten minutes, was on site within a half-hour and had us up and running again in twenty minutes, to the CEO who called the next day to make sure that we were happy with their services (wow, were we!). Black screens on every computer and our network was disabled. He refused to contact us and give us our passwords to rebuild the network. He incorrectly double billed us for MS licenses and we paid him thousands for the same equipment twice. It has cost me thousands of dollars to repair and restructure my office computers and network they intentionally destroyed. We have taken this to the authorities. Yesterday AT&T came to our neighborhood and cut the lines, disconnecting several houses. Novos apologized and said they would send someone first thing the next day. Someone came to our door later yesterday evening (after 8 pm) to check if we had our connection back up. This is a testament to the customer service we've received from Novos. I also spoke to a customer representative today and she gave us a new customer promotion at a higher speed, in other words, our monthly bill went down by nearly half, and our max speed went up 5x, despite not being a new customer.

They had just come through our neighborhood, laying the first fiber option we were to have. The price for 1 Gb up and down (symmetrical) was just a little more than our cable provider charged for 300 Mb down and 12 Mb up. They had a 500 Mb up/down for $50, which was over $20 cheaper than our cable service was. We decided to go with the 1 Gb tier, as my wife and I have both been working from home and I just wanted to see what such speed was like. It's been great. My ASUS router is a better one and I use that instead of the good one they provide (which also acts as a fiber "modem"). I am able to run a speed test native to my router (Ookla) and it consistently tells me speeds are never less than 939 Mb/sec down and 939 Mb/sec up. My fastest test was 944 down and 948 up. The non-promotional price was $79.99 a month, but for the past 12 months with a promotion, was $30 off each month, without a contract. You can get a dedicated IP for $5 a month and a $5 a month discount for autopay. We have both of these, too. Our cable provider had been adequate, but in the prior nine months before leaving, we had been without service for nearly 17 hours during the day one day, another time it was out nearly 12 hours, then 5 and 3 hours. These affected work. We must have plenty of home workers in my city, because our cellular hotspot backups sometimes didn't work well enough, so we had to call in via voice and miss what was being shown. This left us at wit's end. NOVOS has worked what seems like flawlessly during these now 13 months. There was a time or two where they told us we would be down at night a couple hours for "network upgrades," but my SimpliSafe told me when it went down and came back up, and it was far less time than any of the unplanned daytime breakages the cable company had. We plan to stay with NOVOS. It just works, and this level of high reliability is what we as professionals need.
